check procedures weapons not ready with George
Rongor replied to mla306's topic in Bugs and Problems
DCS 2.9.18.12722 - 22.07.2025 A lot of nice stuff has been added in July. Read more about how George as CPG is managed on pages 582-603 in the manual. \Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Mods\aircraft\AH-64D\Doc\DCS AH-64D Early Access Guide EN.pdf -

need track replay George shut down timing
Rongor replied to lead dispenser's topic in Bugs and Problems
I can replicate this. Precondition for this to happen is that George has armed the weapons at least once before you end your flight. Then ordering to shut down after landing will end up in his "aircraft is armed" loop, regardless if you wait for him to finish shutdown before cutting power or not. less than a minute trackfile attached. Hot start on runway. Brief takeoff, random PHS slave search (so George does arm), landing. Ordering shutdown. Waiting until completed, cutting engines. "aircraft is armed" loop. George shutdown aircraft armed.trk -

If I recall correctly, in Laydown mode you can use properly depressed sight to determine the moment to start holding Pickle since the sight mark would be on target at the moment of IP overflight. But in my attempts to utilize this method, I encountered a seemingly consistent issue - sight depression, as calculated by in-game Bombing table, is too big, resulting in sight mark being off-target (marking position significantly closer to the plane), so if the mark-on-target method is used to initiate release (instead of normal IP overflight), bombs will fall long (as far behind the target as the mark was before it at the IP). I tried Mk82 LD, Snakeeyes in HD mode, M117 and Mk84 LD, altitudes from 500 ft to 10000 ft, all at 450 KTAS, and the results were the same: depressed sight mark was lower than it should have been to be over the target at the moment of IP overflight. Attached are two tracks with Mk82 slick (3000 ft, 4nm IP-TGT) and Snakeeyes (500 ft, 1 nm IP-TGT). Also, some screenshots with sight mark position relative to the target at the moment of IP overflight. 1) F-4E L Mk82.trk Bombing table setup for this track: Sight mark at IP: Result after aiming with sight: 2) F-4E L Mk82 Snakeeye.trk Setup for the track: Sight at IP: Impact: If IP overflight is used to initiate release, bombs fall on target, so the error here is in the sight depression.

General hint for the settings in the MOZA software: Do not use [km/h] for velocity settings, although the unit [km/h] is used in the GUI. Use [m/s] instead since DCS telemetry data is output in [m/s] and MOZA doesn't do a conversion. Regarding the OH-6: Data extraction is done in the same way as in TelemFFB and therefore most likely correct. However, the ground and weapon effects are currently not working in MOZA for the OH-6.

I was also worried about the noise the rig makes from my neighbours point of view, as well as the weight of it being in an upstairs room, 150kg. Also, just found a vendor for these rigs online that's UK based. It'll be worth making contact with them, as I'd assume they have a right setup for eemo purposes somewhere? https://simreality.co.uk/pages/about-us. On the issue of software, there are 2 programs that I've read about. It doesn't look like either are free...one's definitely subscription based.

850w is definitely enough (when buying a good reliable PSU). Even if you sum max W consumption of all components it’ll be below 850w, and anyway even when gaming the computer is not gonna run at max power draw all the time. SSD I would go for something even bigger. Personally I like to have Windows on a separate drive (I have a 1tb drive just for OS and some apps) and another drive for games. 2tb might be ok if it’s just for DCS and you don’t have too many modules, but space gets filled up pretty quickly especially with the latest maps. Also consider that on a 2tb drive you will have about 1.8tb of real capacity. Motherboard is fine, but if you can find a good b850 (like the msi b850 tomahawk) for not too much more, you might consider it. Video card is a tough choice, if you need 24gb of vram there are not too many choices, actually it’s the only choice in that price range. Again, if it’s just for DCS it’s a good card, but it doesn’t avail of latest tech you can find in newer cards. 64gb cl30 RAM is a good choice, dcs is very ram-hungry, the more you throw at it the better, especially if playing in multiplayer. I use all my 96gb at times. I’m not particularly familiar with monitors, but the one you suggested seems to have some very good specs….even too good for just DCS, I mean you don’t really need 240hz for playing dcs or flight sims, and anyway you will not reach 240fps at high settings in 5120 x 1440 (it’s almost as demanding as 4k). You might find a less expensive monitor but with the same size and resolution, but lower Hz (144hz is already more than enough, and even less will be perfectly fine). With the price difference you could upgrade the above components.

It's not unlimited, just takes a really long time to get the same effect. Not sure if it's realistic or if it used to be like that.

From what I've read online, it's fine tuned in dependent on you (height, weight etc) and the rig software, as well as the game software you use. I've read good things about their customer support for PC users. They can do a remote connection and sort out the settings for you. I was also worried about the noise the rig makes from my neighbours point of view, as well as the weight of it being in an upstairs room, 150kg.

AMPCD not showing up on center MFD
LeCuvier replied to glcm1961's topic in Controller Questions and Bugs
I suspect that the issue is caused by having the same coordinates and sizes for CENTER_MFCD and TEDAC. You should probably use separate files for Hornet and Apache resp. That's what I do anyway. The other thing I noticed is, you don't seem to have a line like "UIMainView = Viewports.Center". When I omit that line, the UI main view extends over all monitors. However, it does not affect display of the AMPCD. -
Hi Rob, yup, it should function as an emulator that you assign keys to but Windows 11 doesn't recognise it. One set of instructions said to install the software before plugging the unit in while another said to plug the unit in first...both from Logitech as a source. Neither have worked. The OS just doesn't recognise the unit.

What capabilities should we expect from the F-104?
Stratos replied to Hatman335's topic in DCS: F-104
I will wait for someone to make a Toss bombing tutorial for big targets like rail yards or airfields. Even without nukes it will be fun as hell! -

There is no crash in this log so is possibly Windows killing the process. Run the Windows DxDiag tool and then save the report and attach here. You also have a huge page file. With 64gb of RAM you don’t need that and could reduce that a lot. Looks like you have core parking enabled as well. You can use the ParkControl program to turn off core parking.

Using Process Lasso to assign e-cores

There's only one way to find out... Try one or the other (or both combined) and see what gives best results. -
Your welcome , its a shame its days are numbered as I would have liked to have continued developing this. Cheers Jafa.

Only thing i can see is that you have have your CENTER_MFCD x and y in capitals not lower case? -
Pimax Crystal OG user here. I've been running Pimax XR with PM's own QuadViews implementation for a while. After the 1.41 update QuadViews have stopped working. Setting was enabled both in DCS and PimaxPlay. MBQV not installed. After struggling with it for a few hours I gave up and reverted to prior version. Properly disappointed.
