  1. Past hour
  2. It's still a WIP, so I'm not sure if I should officially uploaded to the DCS page I could share it with a 3rd party link, but I'm not sure if that would be "kosher"... ^ 3rd party link (mega) Sorry
  3. I had to delete some pictures from this thread to make some space... And still it is not enough...
  4. And a short video introducing the RF-101B Voodoo, which will hopefully land in Vietnam War Vessels 2.1.0:
  5. To delete an unnecessary point, you need to go to the HSD page (Nav Setup-(Target list/ WP List or CP List). Press the DEL button, enter the point name, and press the OK button on the keyboard at the bottom of the console. After that, the point is removed from the MMS tables.

  8. I have a VPRhino and the FFB experienced isn’t as polished as other modules but I haven’t noticed anything that’s “messed up” to the point where it’s unflyable. For me, the most important thing is the stall warning buffets, which it gives me. (I get most of the rest of my haptic feedback from a UShake6 seat pad.) The trim seems to work fine and I’m able to get on and off the boat alright. I’d give it another whirl.

  10. Outstanding work gents! Looking forward to more stick time later this week!
  11. Ok, i have literally followed the takeoff tutorial vids exact no matter what i do, immediately upon takeoff, my plan constantly just rolls to the left and i crash i have tried everything what am i doing wrong?
  12. I noticed this too. The instrument light doesn't turn back on if you dim it too far down it seems. Makes for flying at night super tough with the flashlight only... unless I'm doing it wrong...
  13. Yes DCS and everything else looks fantastic on an OLED. I gotta say DCS is rather dated and doesn’t exploit what a screen like this can really do like HDR but it’s still the best this game can look. I was curious about burn-in too but there are pixel shifting and cleaning feature which seem to negate this. I use mine for working at home full time as well as gaming and haven’t seen any sort of damage from three years of continual use.
  14. Can someone lobby it into DCS core like CH assets? [emoji848] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk

  18. Cheers for posting here Brian . I don’t use any discords so was none the wiser. Good news on the AI version, well done. I didn’t wanna be poking anyone for a rush on, just keen, enthusiastic and curious ya know. When she’s ready she’s ready . Will be great to see her in our skies and to fly with. Look forward to it

  20. I'm digging your enthusiasm. Still not sure about the size or resolution. That's a question of money (what isn't?) and my hardware which runs 2k very well but 4K would be a stretch perhaps. Back to Amazon to look at monitors.

  22. Cool! WIP from whom?
  23. Yep, thats directly the next feature. Currently, it pulls from the units mission editor waypoints to autocreate waypoints (and will bind mission waypoints for stuff like start/landing to the airdrome's name, or any nonmistakingly close VORs.
  24. This entirely. The fact that the next step up is honestly something like a Pimax Crystal Super says a lot. A DP headset with dynamic foveated rendering, a wide field of view and acceptable sharpness for the money is a great deal, and makes the PSVR2 a good choice for people who want to enjoy VR in DCS and don’t feel prepared to drop large amounts of money just yet. As PS5 users get sick of the lack of new content it might lead to some good used deals as well. The QP is a good option for some other aspects. It undoubtably provides a somewhat sharper cockpit (the full RGB stripe display means that while the resolution is slightly lower each pixel has independent sub pixels unlike the pentile arrangement) at equivalent resolutions to the PSVR2, however the trade off is that with compression you get less detail in the distance and compression artefacts. The more you increase the bitrate, use encoding like HEVC 10bit or double pass encoding the more overhead there is and the less the benefit of being able to get away with less supersampling helps. I also find the eye tracking more accurate in the PSVR2, in the QP I will frequently look into the region that is low resolution before it catches up, that basically never happens in the PSVR2. Ultimately I think before the introduction of DFR the PSVR2 was a tough ask for DCS. You needed to pump so many pixels that it was tough to run without making major sacrifices. Now with combining DFR and DLSS with the transformer model the performance to run 90fps+ at high supersampled resolutions is there for those with high end systems.

  26. I think I've got Reshade set up correctly. That said, Alt-F5 does nothing in-game.
  27. Agreed, the default should be Hidden on MFDs, and there should be a checkbox for "Show on MFDs". I think most mission-makers would like most objects to remain hidden, and maybe a few key targets to be shown that might be critical to the tasking in the mission.
