Hi, I've had a problem since the last update. I load the game normally (it takes a long time to load). Once loaded, I go to the mission editor to adjust my mission and on the map screen it stutters. I make the adjustments and go to the mission. In the cockpit, the stutters continue, and when I turn a wheel on a controller, I can't do it like before. It turns very little by little. I get desperate and exit the mission and the game. I reload it and do the same thing, but now the stuttering problems are gone, everything runs smoothly. This has been happening to me since the last update; before, everything was fine. Greetings and thanks.

Weapons is ED's responsibility. So, if ED makes ultra realistic RWR for MiG-29, it still could update it for other aircraft. Same for mentioned AIM-7 failures.

We have 10%, 100%, Flash, OFF - a command to cycle them would be appreciated.

Pappy2 started following Wheel chocks at the start of a mission
-
Hello, Can you ensure that at the start of a mission, whether the engine is black and cold or already running, the wheel chocks are in place? For example, when starting a mission on the Essex's deck, the F4U-1D rolls back on its own due to the wind on the deck! If the wheel chocks were in place, the ground crew would avoid having to jump to chock the Corsair. Thank you in advance and thank you again for your beautiful Corsair.

The visor isn't the only thing that is aligned to the right eye only in VR. The same shift is visible on those helmet scope sensors. Just information for the ED team, if they see it and want to look into it someday.

Remind me. What where the actual physical limits of the radars gimbal?
-
This isn't about "balance," it's about reality. If you can't build something because there's no documentation (since much of that information is classified), then good luck trying to invent its functionality on your own (it's like trying to add both elctronic offensive and defensive capabilities to a ship)...

I went with 100ish FOV but now the problem is the axis where the head camera is centered is now like 5cm in front of the HUD, so when you turn your head backwards you are looking at the eject lever right below you;) This is now it looks like now when I look at the right back panel I think they need to update this FOV.

Feathers started following SimApp Pro - latest update 64xbit, DCS sync doesn't work

I have the exact same issue and posted on Winwings FB with no response.

Hello, In DCS, the only way to have a big swell and a choppy aircraft carrier is to add wind; I'd like to take off and land on the Essex, which is pitching and rolling. But I noticed that with at least 60 knots of wind on the Essex's deck, with my F4U-1D parked with the engine running, my Corsair explodes during mission launch. (Wings torn off?); the other aircraft (AI) on the deck have no problem. With less than 60 knots of wind on the Essex's deck, there's no problem during mission launch; my Corsair survives. I wanted to point this out; I don't know if it has anything to do with the collision model when it spawns at the start of the mission, or if it's a bug. Thanks again to the whole team for your wonderful work.

Having the same problem. Setting up a mission where I am leading a flight of F4Us and I'm the only one attacking the targets. Doesn't seem to matter if Group Attack is selected or not. Nor if planes are instructed to ignore AI cautions (this has become very confusing with a double negative in the setting). Even if I repeatedly command my flight to attack, they sound as though they are attacking but they don't. Makes mission editing impossible for multiple AI wingmen.

Fascinating stuff, thanks for sharing! -
Amen! DCS needs consistency... and i'm not even a PvP guy.
-
Could be interesting, but would require the whole EW side of things in DCS to at least have a simple modeling that is reasonably consistent throughout the world. Not even talking about the whole multiplayer balance thoughts that I understand many people don't care about, but in any scenario such a concept would be wildly disappointing if it was only effective for a select few targets and others were completely immune.

I agree. The antenna vertical angle component shown on your Hud is what is in relation to your aircraft currently. For example if your nose down from your target, but at the same altitude the diamond will be shown at level with your crosshairs, even though the gimbal for the antenna should be pointing up, since your nose down from it, and thus be above your crosshairs Mig29 vertical anttena bug.trk just submitted a track file for it on my comment above

It's a bit sad, that an aircraft that is known for having the most outrageously fabulous liveries comes with such a bland selection in DCS...
-
The western-made clusters aren't really much better in being consistent in their performance. The sole exception are the 'smart sub-munition' ones (like CBU-97) that have always been deadly. A BLG-66 or a Mk20 are just in the same boat as the RBK-250.

Setup A2G, GM, CCRP, TGP, CZ on STP that is in general location of AO. Slew GM to near (BUT NOT ON) Target (SA-15 at Wujah in this example) by using HSD to eyeball the area as ref for GM Cursor indicator. Note TGP is aligned to GM SOI and also shows location of GM cursor over "general terrain/water" TMS UP on GM SOI to lock this position over "general terrain/water". NOTE: GM shows proper location locked over "general terrain/water". ERROR: HSD GM cursor indicator now has "JUMPED" over to the SA-15 instead of where the GM is actually locked! ERROR: TGP shows the SA-15 centered in crosshairs (matching the HSD position) and NOT where the GM is actually locked! Screenshots are Named for the Above Step they relate to (1.png, 2.png, etc)... Screenshots, Track, and Miz Attached. LastMissionTrack.trk Test_GM_TGP_Offset.miz I dont know why it kept showing the LAST screenshot first.. so I removed from main post and have it here so they are in "order"....

If the radar illuminates longer its receiving period also becomes longer. I'd say that average power would stay the same for any possible situation. And there is no sustained power, it's not an aircraft engine, you know. It illuminates at 100% power and then kinda stops working to receive and process. So, if peak power is 2kWt has Length of T and it takes 3T between the peaks the average power would be 2/4 = 500 Watt Well, people managed to learn the F-16/18 so they'll probably make it through a less complicated aircraft
