  1. Past hour
  2. Agree. F/A-18C... w/o the USS Nimitz (CVN 68). Just the Livery numbers and callsigns. This is a purchased module, not freeware. Bowie
  3. Luckily we have a cold-war version of the Bo-105 incoming
  4. You're spot on on this. I believe you've found the issue. APU RPM% gets stuck at 60% if any engine is out of the fuel cut off position or idle before the APU is fully started.
  5. You mean like this? Digital Integration Hind, 1996 (they did the D version).
  6. I dont think that comment is fair, its been a long time since the F-16C release and we have had good launches since. With that said lets not derail this thread. thank you
  7. There's a lot riding on this one, so let's hope ED fully realise that and deliver a solid release for a change
  8. I went for accuracy by volume of "fire". The chances of OP also having a confusion on the gauges are high given how cluttered the front panel is and the APU EGT gauge which usually hovers at the 6 marker on startup of an engine is right next to the actual APU RPM gauge with the name 'APU' a bit covered at certain angles. Is hard to fumble the apu start. Is easy to forget the APU gen switch as no other module (american) has that need to turn on the APU gen. I took my chances. As an addition. The Warthog without fuel while attempting to turn on the APU will feature the RPM stuck at 30%:
  9. @Calvin.Pimax I am on V1.0.7 on the Super. What is actually fixed in V1.0.8?
  10. how have you been @SloppyDog ive mounted my doorgun on my rig, and trying to get back to mission building and just shooting the doorgun. i did fly last week to test my setup. my pilot was all over the place, rocking and tilting, too high too low... i have to look at tutorial on how to set huey to trim out and fly at a constant speed hope to have result soon
  11. I recommend to use the free flight mission in cacasus to train with this, with more trainning you can understand about the aircraft more, and with grater flexibility
  12. aah i found the problem it was the mission editor
  13. It will be interesting to see if it will be a realistic launch, with the vehicles on their platforms until they reach land.
  14. OP very clearly said the APU RPM doesn't go above 60%. In the Caucasus Cold Start mission, that's not the case. I could switch on most consumers (IFFCC, radios, countermeasures, EGI+CDU, and a few more), switch on APU Gen, and then Battery + Inverter + APU Start, and it would start just fine and all electric consumers would come alive as the APU reaches 100% RPM. Just to be clear, we shouldn't be doing this (I distinctly recall a SME saying "You don't start the APU loaded"), but it doesn't explain OP's observation.
  15. Today
  16. LOL You forgot "accidentally" disconnecting from the server the exact moment someone gets on their six
  17. It was an attempt to not initialize the flag and check if it was working. But.... fancy thing; I was able to find the problem. The building supposed to go up in flames was a static object. and I was using (as can be seen) a "Group dead" trigger. This however, seemed to not play nice. I changed it to a "Unit dead".... and tada! Now it's working as expected.
  18. Not sure abut that one, when all the DCS video'fluencers are basicly flying the Lightning design-mission: Take off in severe clear wether, with too little fuel to "increase performance", kill a couple of dudes in epic high-angle-off gun-engagements and then crash while trying to land ("...haven't read that page of the book yet..."). The EEL's the perfect jet for those fellas.
  19. Doesn't seem to be much wrong there, but you can try this one F18_4-screens_v2.lua I have created a displays table, based on your display settings above (4 screens now?) which tells DCS which screens to use and where they are. You CAN NOT run in fullscreen mode and keep DCS open while reading a PDF, that is a Windows "feature" and nothing to do with DCS, just run in windowed mode (fullscreen off) I don't think it makes a difference anyway when running multiple monitors.
  20. Thats so nice, thanks for the info !!

  22. Btw, the one in initialization is "1010", but the one you check is "101". Should it be the reason or just typo?
  23. yep was a high priority
  24. The EEL from the F.1a through to the F6 enjoyed the ability to AAR, not commonly used on the earlier versions (F.1a to F.3 and T.4). The F.2's and F.2a's were mainly RAF Germany aircraft, and as with the Buccaneers AAR was considered surplus to requirement due to the short durations of flight to targets. The UK based Lightnings did use AAR via H.P. Victors, VC-10K's, etc. The EEL was only limited in time aloft by engine oil capacity and pilot fatigue. There were many 4 hour plus sorties flown by RAF lightnings... The aircraft would be a superb model for DCS despite its challenges. The cockpit is an ergonomic nightmare, and it would certainly be a high workload environment for anyone trying to fly it while staying ahead of the performance envelope. However, unfortunately, it would only appeal to a niche market within the DCS user base. Better chance as a free Mod or perhaps donation based ala Split Air's offerings. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I agree that the overall aesthetics leave something to be desired, especially the F.6... The T.5, in my humble opinion, was the more attractive variant.
  25. just tried it.... in fact I was working on a secondary sequence that comes up when you attack another place. That one is behaving (for the moment) but the first one... still plays naughty with the "time since flag". I'm trying different stuffs...
  26. I hope the steering cue for GBUs missing is on the list
