  1. Past hour
  2. Definite weakness of the IFF method…… if they are within laser range you can’t trigger radar to primary sensor. So only option then is either 1. Radar vertical scan 2. regular radar search and hope to god that TWF locks them lol
  3. In the territory of the former Yugoslavia, there are no important military airports, Udbina and Mahovljani - Banja Luka. Of the civilian ones, Tivat, Maribor, Vršac, Osijek and Ohrid should definitely be added.
  4. I may be mistaken since I haven't edited a mission in a while, but I think if you find where the instant action missions are in your files, you can open them up in the mission editor and then turn off the fog by going to the weather tab. I think it's got a sun and clouds as the icon and the fog option has a dedicated section under the static weather options. Hope it turns out well for you!

  6. It would be nice to have a Mig-15 playground in Albania. I understand not wanting to get too spread out, but the Kuçovë base near the city of Berat is of primary importance and the Gjadër Airstrip in the north is fairly simple affair. Kuçove also has modern day significance being a NATO base, as well as the heliport in Farke near Tirana. Of course the Tirana airport is more civilian today, but in the past was also used for the Rinas military base. The Vlorë training base is of secondary importance, but would be nice to have for realistic training missions. Order of importance imho: Kuçovë, Gjadër, and Rinas after that Vlorë, Farkë. Then Kukës would be nice to have for another point to land. Thanks for your attention to the Balkans.
  7. That is not what ED said in the FAQ thread. Early Access planned end of 2026
  8. Looking forward to Balkans/Italy map.
  9. This is what TOO mode is in the Hornet.
  10. I watched the Belgrade promo picture hou posted. Something is off with it, possibly your elevation map. Beograđanka building has tower and base. I do not think base is visible from that angle. Can you provide the coordinate of your camera?
  11. Missing is Sombor airport as well as Lisičiji Jarak
  12. Hard to guess what the problem might be without a track or detailed description. Have you pressed spacebar to uncage and blow the cover? Have you waited for the ARM light (full gyro spin, otherwise instantly and permanently bricked the mavericks as explained in the link)? Have you tried the MSL REJ switch? Have you selected/deselected the pylon?
  13. Do you have any articles on Hungarian involvment?
  14. Hi. I've tried to build my own custom RAT .lua and .miz for Kola terrain. Loaded MOOSE.lua is 2.9.14 stable ; current Kola airports are correctly all written. In RAT missions progressing, two airports --- Kiruna and Enontekio --- are often buggy. The airplanes spawned there don't move even all engines are well idled , ready to taxi-out. Not two airplanes' taxi routes blocking each other or too large airplanes colliding with buildings. Enough small airplanes like Yak-40 and only one airplane spawned at an airport though, that trouble often come ... about 50 percent times. It looks like airports' tower AI doesn't answer the spawned airplanes for take-off request. I've not seen such trouble in other terrains Nevada / Syria. I feel Kola terrain's specific bug, but I cannot write a good bug report to send to Orbx. Non MOOSE missions "airplanes' fixed waypoints starting from Kiruna and Enontekio" run well, never troubled. How do you think it ? and How to ask Orbx to research and solve this trouble ?
  15. How about Bulgarian's one? While everyone focuses on 90's scenarios for this map It would definitely goes a long way for Cold War scenarios no doubt Thank you!
  16. You should just arm before starting the engine. That will rule that out. But please post a track of your process so we can see what you are doing. Remove any and all mods and run a quick repair. Just flew last night and did not have any issues in singleplayer or multiplayer.
  17. I did a CCIP launch in MP today without laser and it was also short. Renaming thread as it’s clear with this “target altitude” related.
  18. If we accept the process described in the Wise version of the Mig29 manual and that the SOP for altimetry use in the MIG29 is to use QFE then its sort of logical. Preflight the Ground crew set the Ballistics data (Weapon codes) and the Delta H value of the general target area compared with the departure airfield. Essentially this is in effect setting a Target Area QFE in the Fire control system.... as long as the pilot does not change his altimeter but keeps it set at Departure airfield QFE until at least weapons release. This means its not tied to a specific waypoint or anything. It is only going to be valid if the weapons are dropped in the Target area used to calculate the delta H value. In most cases ranging via the Laser is going to be used. If however the Laser cant provide range then there is a reversionary method using Baro ranging and sight line data. I still think Radalt range would be more usable. so the ranging priority would be Laser ..... Radalt ...... Baro
  19. Yeah, honestly makes sense to me if rad alt isn’t used, only has 1000m AGL limit and only up to 15 degree dive/climb angle. It’s unusual yes, but I think for MiG-29, if they are thinking the single target air to ground target attack characteristic of Soviet tactical aviation, possibly at high ranges and altitudes using its speed abilities, a pre set barometric target altitude might make more sense. I am impressed how it allows CCRP at ridiculous ranges lofting the bomb a very far distance. And to think before release I was moping about laser range limiting bomb loft ranges! There is a Russian manual that includes the ballistic codes for each bomb. I assume each ballistic code also has characteristic time information According to MiG-29B book, it sounds like it’s entered into a “PK-31” panel. “Ballistic parameters are entered into the OEPRNK during bombing preparation using the PK-3I and PVK-3I consoles. Program input into the SN-29 navigation system is performed using the PVP console.” I wonder if I need to look at nav system chapters instead.
  20. Here's a near vertical dive from 10,000ft followed by a 6G pull-up. No difference to pootling along at 30kts
  21. Hello, Please use Wish List for requests like this OnReTech team
  22. Yes; but it's currently functionless.
  23. Isn’t there a special option setting for this?
  24. Bigity

    ACQ Source

Might have to set up some stream deck buttons for it
