Maybe those calls were on tac, which the hornets aren’t tuned to.

Are you guys using any unofficial mods?

Mission 4. No QP-A on Left (no QP-B and QP-C)
ASW replied to ASW's topic in DCS: P-51D Debden Eagles Campaign
I don't understand anything about logs either. I did a voice-over mission once. I did it for a long time, almost half a year. I added different sound files to it. And at some point, at the end of the mission, I had a crash on my desktop. The most difficult thing about it was to understand what it was related to, I had to go through the mission to the end. Then I accidentally saw the name of my audio file and an error in the log. I removed it from the mission and everything worked. I have reviewed this log. I didn't see anything related to Debden Eagles. -
So yesterday evening I played baltics version of this one. And I have two questions. First I noticed that in Your version I fly as element lead and get ordered to go to trail formation before we reach the ao and split up. Know sitting in the hornet i had a nice view on the weasel 7 flight but noticed W73 and W74 leading the pack by severel miles. I´m wondering if this is due to the DCS AI mechanics and maybe happens randomly or is it a lack of coordination between you and baltic? Even if it is, no blame for that, this is totally unimportant at all, but still I noticed it. Second I don´t know if I only was to busy and missed something, but I had the feeling there were quite a few radio calls between Weasel 7 and Awacs in your Mission, which I didn´t hear in the hornet? Could that be or did I just not notice. I missed at least the whole SA8 announcement. And I could be wrong but the message in which awacs tells all players that the SA 10 had come alive two times in the last hour or so sounded like it was another speaker. Or is my brain trolling me? And the mission felt shorter, even considering that is is shorter couse you don´t need to plug the tanker.

Highly doubt it will happen. Even Heatblur which is a giant 3rd party developer studio. Far larger then any of the others (now that raz is gone) doesn't have vr kontroller support.

How to perform overhead break pattern in a crosswind?
Bremspropeller replied to Supernova-III's topic in DCS: F/A-18C
The 1%-thing is a technique, not a procedure. Don't get too hung up on it. For CW correction, you'll have to adjust your pull. You're basicly adjusting your pattern for crosswind all the way round. In the break-turn by adjusting your pull and in the base-turn by adjusting your rate of descend and your angle of bank. The upwind, downwind and final segments will require you to adjust your heading to fly the correct track over the ground. Assuming your're doing two 180° turns. -
Ich glaube ich ziehe bei allen anderen Sims den Stecker. Das hier reicht vollkommen.

F-16 Arctic Thunder - Read this before playing
Reflected replied to Reflected's topic in F-16C Arctic Thunder Campaign
Thanks! It’s a bunch of triggers and voice files listening to cockpit inputs. -
Mission 4. No QP-A on Left (no QP-B and QP-C)
Reflected replied to ASW's topic in DCS: P-51D Debden Eagles Campaign
CTDs are annoying but never mission related. It’s probably the install or the PC, drivers, or something like this. Please send crashlogs to ED, I can’t even make sense of them. -
Without having seen the footage and having heard of a 'bug' with catching the wire if the carrier is moving in a certain direction on the map, I would suggest not to flare. A carrier aircraft you do not flare, but but fly into the deck. Setup the correct AoA in advance (speed and trim) should ensure that your aircraft (and hook) hit the deck at the right angle to catch the wires. If there is the need to adjust the rate of descend, adjust power and not pitch. Keep on practicing, I took me a while as well. I find this bird more challenging to land on a carrier than your average jet. However, good fun and very rewarding once you figure it out.

How to perform overhead break pattern in a crosswind?
Supernova-III replied to Supernova-III's topic in DCS: F/A-18C
I'm pulling around 1% of airspeed, this is something that happens on its own... BTW where does this 1% rule comes from? NATOPS doesn't tell anything like this. As well as 350 kts initial speed. -
Im not seeing any issue when I test, it sounds correct. Can you attach a short track replay and your dcs log If you are using any unofficial mods please remove them and run a slow repair. thank you

Just an opinion. I think it doesn't matter who's right or wrong. If we want answers, the only way is to turn to a consumer association and hire a lawyer, since we are victims as users of Razbam products. Everything else is speculation.

Das ist cool! Bin sehr neugierig!

I don’t see the point in demanding information about the future of the modules, it’s something ED simply can’t predict with any certainty. There are just too many variables. The only possible outcomes from such demands are either false promises or unnecessary panic over hypothetical worst-case scenarios that likely won’t happen. ED will respond once they have legal clarity regarding Razbam. Until then, there are countless possible outcomes, ranging from a happy resolution to a total collapse of the modules, or anything in between. Personally, I will demand a solution the moment I can’t use my Strike Eagle anymore. And who knows, maybe the first step will simply be a hotfix. I think everyone involved understands that the community wants this dispute resolved and is eager for long awaited updates. But I don’t see how harassing either ED or Razbam helps bring about a solution. The rest is up to you. You can stop buying modules, stop playing DCS altogether, or simply enjoy what we currently have. In my opinion, DCS remains the most visually stunning and immersive combat flight simulator available. I’m still having a great time flying it, despite the flaws with AI, ATC, and the lack of a true dynamic campaign. And just to put things in perspective, the total amount I’ve invested in DCS far exceeds the cost of all Razbam modules combined.

Is that not the JFS winding down?
-
Jester/Petrovich/Georg? Schau mr mal was da kommt.

bin echt gespannt das könnte echt Mega gut werden

Check all TACANS and do not use TACANS that are not recommended or degraded. Especially A/A TACANS.
-
Hey is Anderson AFB using 54X which is a degraded TACAN?

After placing the throttle in idle during startup, there is the sound of engine winding down for a moment. The rpm indication is increasing but the sound is of an engine decreasing in rpm.

1st person pilot anomalies in relation to ejection seat.
jethead posted a topic in Bugs and Problems
Images and track file attached highlight visual anomalies regarding 1st person pilot in relation to seat height adjusting. Pilot remains at the same height regardless of raising or lowering the seat. In the default seat position the pilot is sitting INSIDE the seat cushion with the ejection handle positioned inside the right leg. F-16 Pilot seat adjust.trk-

I uninstalled the graphics driver using DDU and reinstalled graphics driver. didn't OC my graphics card. I'm using VD Wireless Streaming on my Quest 3, running in VR mode. I'll keep testing until I find the problem.
