  2. Nice one! Not got round to it yet untill I begin the build but how many M.2 could I populate before PCI Slot 1'# drops its speed?
  3. Reproduced in a short track. Issue reported.
  4. We've just reproduced this
  5. Hello! Thanks for your feedback. Half a year ago, one of the players had a similar problem. It is related to the Apache module. After the hotfix, these crashes stopped. The problem was in communication with the AI George, as far as I remember. I will test the mission, but I think this is the same bug that came back again. Just in case, I advise you to perform a slow check of the DCS files, remove all third-party unlicensed mods, and check the mission again. Also, the log file will help us understand what could have caused the crash.
  6. I thought it will be perfectly clear, anyway, red curve is case if second impulse would be started immediately after first one is finished. Green curve is case if second impulse would be started in 25th second and of course blue curve is with started second impulse in 45th second. One more realistic situation, levelled flight at 10km and starting velocity 500m/s First and second impulses one after another, something like dual thrust motor...and case if second impulse would be started when velocity drop to approximately 1M Combined cases -> Obviously dual impulse is with intention to make rocket with more potential in time when it counts the most, in time when target suppose to be hunted. Fact is that such concept, I think in most cases, gives shorter range and rocket is less agile considering total flight time, but when it matters then such rocket is with potential
  7. That makes sense, perfectly understandable. I will wait for more of the good stuff then
  8. I've never made fun with @MA_VMF !!! Actually I apprciate his work a lot
  9. thread merged this is reported thanks
  10. Indeed, the icons have disappeared from this file. I really own these planes But I did not make a copy of this file. I lost the icons of my AV8B and my M2000. Thank you Christian
  11. I doubt it but what would be the purpose? It's still one file editing. Maybe you don't want to touch the game files but \saved games\dcs folder is fine? Since every update will revert the changes to the CommandDialogPanel.lua you should have a local copy of both original file and modded one. Then you could run a batch file (one for each) to copy one of them into game files and run DCS. Just an idea.
  12. Да. На сайте доступно здесь.
  13. I'm an older gamer NOT a jet pilot with 20/20 vision. We require a sensible balance between supposed reality and best guess with a bit of artistic licence. Don't be nurfing anything.
  14. If using a FMU-139, 143, or 152 and no fuze in the nose (plugged), keeping it on NSTL is fine as you need the NOSE option in order to have the center solenoid hold the arming loop on the initiator which activates those fuzes. You could select the NOSE only, as the initiator is the only loop since those are electrical fuzes (will double check my work notes but 99% sure you can do that). Mechanical fuzes like the M905 requires the TAIL option as the loop for that goes into the tail solenoid on the MAU-12. Default MK82s in DCS usually always come with both nose and tail fuzes (M904 and M905) so NSTL should've activated the fuses. If you can, can you please post a track. I did have a GBU-10 appear to DUD on me as well the other day, but didn't think too much of it as I was focused on something else.
  15. This. Preset J is superior to K when it comes to image quality, at the cost of some ghosting (depending on the background of the specific scene), but I don’t know it that counts for spotting dots too as I don’t use K. I have been using 2 pixels instead of Auto since the changes to spotting dots were implemented for that exact reason: to work with DLSS.
  16. It simply shows that the people here have never produced any design documentation. Performing calculations and presenting them properly is not a guessing game. Or I have a bad news for them...

  18. Short of making a different set of buildings for every 5 degree change in slope, I don't know what you expect them to do though. If you look at this image of actual houses, if you reduced the actual terrain to a mesh with even 2m resolution on contours, the buildings on the actual site would have terrain clipping windows and doors in midair... I agree about the cars though - either don't put them on terrain with enough slope to make terrain clipping an issue, or have all scenery cars sit perpendicular to the local terrain, not to the horizon (& I may be showing my ignorance her, but it seems to me there are way too many cars parked in backyards for rural Afghanistan anyway - ? There's only 1 motor vehicle (of any sort) for every 18 people in Afghanistan [one for every 1.07 people here in NZ], and surely they're going to disproportionately in the cities & more affluent / industrialised parts of the country, not parked in the back yard of remote houses with no connection to paved roads?) As someone who lives amongst houses built on hills, apart from some issues with shadows, the buildings in the attached snip look pretty convincing in their perches. Another storey added to the foundations wouldn't hurt though...
  19. Hi, The situation evolved for me to few second crashes few weeks ago (i fixed it, i thought, with unparking all cores w/parkcontrol) to permanent blue screen crashes on start up. There were few cases: *The game logs me in then the nvidia screen appears->it simply shut down to windows (eventually it booted after few attempts) *The game logs me in then the nvidia screen + dcs "screen with planes" appears-> it simply shut down to windows (eventually it booted after few attempts) *The game logs me in then the nvidia screen + dcs screen with planes appears->blue screen and reboot What is strange is that different message appeared on the blue screen: sometimes Kernel** thing, sometimes win32**, even apc index mismatch etc Plz advise dcs.log-20250729-064044.zip
  20. Thanks, those are cool modules but I have no clue how they work, let alone how they were used in combat so campaigns for them are highly unlikely...
  21. Of course, this is great news - but it is worth adding that this airport is currently located on the Persian Gulf map, so it will probably transfer the models and the entire airport structure from one map to another. However, something in the north would also be useful, somewhere in the middle of Iranian part of the map, at least two or three military airfields. That would be great.

  23. Yes, my goal is to only have the info and capabilities a real pilot would have. Of course the sim have the tools to know all you want. You may argue that padlock is just for convenience because ex. you have only 4-way hat to look around but it's still the job of the pilot to find the target and keep it in sight. You don't do much if it's automated for you. It's hard to miss a runway if you do proper TACAN approach. During the night the lights are on after calling inbound.
  24. Hello all, after the new updates (latest: 2.9.18.12899), I'm experiencing freezes of DCS after rescueing the downed Apache in this mission. This happened twice yesterday at almost the same point in the mission and one time after I got the distress call, that the Apache is shot down. Unfortunately, there is noch trk-file in the folder, that I can share. Has anyone had the same issue? Best regards, Cat
  25. It would be great to expand the supercarrier with these two iconic ships: USS Enterprise (CVN-65) USS Nimitz (CVN-68) Hopefully we'll see an update someday. Even a paid one. DCS: Supercarrier is one of the best modules for DCS, although it would be better if it was part of the DCS core free for everyone, I would gladly pay for it again.
