I understand, and thanks for pointing that out. Just to clarify — the NDA I mentioned isn’t about real‑world procedures or classified information. It’s simply to make sure that what I share about my project remains private while it’s in development. I even wrote it as a mutual agreement, so I also commit to not disclosing anything that’s told to me. That said, since the academy project is meant to be publicly available once complete, I understand how including an NDA at this stage could be misinterpreted. No worries, generally people wont sign NDA's unless it is for work related activities, as NDA's can be very restrictive. And active or former military pilots are still under their respective secrecy acts. We also have very strict rules about sharing real world information here, and DCS only uses public data and information. thanks bignewy

Just think a second on why the US went with a glorified crop duster for their new platform: It's light, can takeoff and land pretty much anywhere, can loiter for ages, has 3-4 different sensors on it, APKWS and LGBs, … Light attack is basically an armed ISR platform for low-intensity combat.

Please read again what @Dragon1-1 wrote. He did not mentioned M3 at all. He mentioned other sims that predates DCS. And he also writes that if ED makes a Zero, it will be epic. Ain't it always.

Hi @BIGNEWY Thanks for the feedback, I really appreciate it. You're right, and I understand how my post might raise concerns, especially coming from a new user. I've now edited the original post to include a short personal introduction so it doesn’t come off as cold or suspicious. My thinking was: a scammer would fake an intro anyway, and I wanted to show I’m serious by mentioning NDAs and contracts. But I see now that without some background, it may actually have the opposite effect. Of course, I won’t be sharing project details in public; not to be secretive, but simply to protect the idea at this early stage. That said, I’m more than happy to talk with anyone curious, with no pressure. If after a call they’re not interested, no hard feelings at all. I just need someone who’s willing to give me a bit of their time. I believe in this project so much I’m personally funding the whole thing upfront. I just can’t build it alone. Thanks again for keeping the community safe and for giving me a chance to clarify.

I disagree. When I tried the maximum speed, I got 344 kts (637 km/h) at 20000 ft ( 6096 meters ) From my experience people forget to close engine cowl flaps that makes huge difference in drag.

I'll do another clean connect the next days and will provide the DCS.log. At one occasion, I had waited 10 minutes before I killed the app. My buddy who was already on the server has seen my connect but I obviously never made it. Waiting 3 minutes might be annoying, waiting 10 minutes is impossible I'll provide the log...

Ich habe den Sniper ATP noch nie benutzt, aber soweit ich weiß gibt es da ein paar Fallstricke, wenn man den Zoom nutzt, ohne den XR-Modus zu aktivieren. Am besten postet ihr mal einen kurzen Track, bevorzugt in der Kaukasus-Karte, vielleicht kann euch dann jemand ein paar Tipps geben. Und soweit ich gehört habe sind wir außerdem alle etwas vom Litening und ATFLIR verdorben, weil die beiden in DCS wohl ein deutlich schärferes Bild liefern, als das eigentlich der Fall sein sollte. Deshalb kann es durchaus sein, dass der Sniper ATP unrealistisch unscharf wirkt, während er im Moment wohl tatsächlich deutlich realistischer ist als die beiden alten TGPs. (Andererseits hoffe ich sehr stark, dass Litening und ATFLIR vorläufig so bleiben wie sie sind, weil unzählige Missionen und Kampagnen sonst alle neu getestet und evtl. überarbeitet werden müssten, was einen Heidenaufwand nach sich zieht.)
