This mod has great potential. Unfortunately it has some constant crash issues with Pimax Play resulting in game crashing to desk top. I have researched and tried numerous ways to comply with the online system crash advice, but nothing seems to work. Trying the old open XR and Pimax play start options initially start off fine, but then almost at the exact same spot taxiing from a cold start the sim crashes. It is very frustrating, especially considering the amount of time I have dedicated to learning this module. As far as my rig, I am operating a Cyber Power Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-14900K, 3200 Mhz, 24 Core(s), 32 Logical Processor(s), with Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090. So handling this module and DCS should be no problem. These crashes only happen with this MiG-29A module. It appears something is wrong with this module and Pimax Play. Anyone else having these issues?

I know you guys are trying to help, and thanks for that. I also help here from time to time. But I think the suggested app is not a valid solution. I don't use any mods, or tacview or any programs that alter or mine data from DCS, only program outside DCS that both me and SharpeXB are using is Logitech G HUB, maybe that is related to this problem?

I use a motorcycle Steering Damper on my thrust master pedals works a treat the last time I used one was on my TL1000s about 130mph the bike would try to go into a tank slap.

Only for STT. That's from Jester seat using Next Launch button. No way to do that from the pilot seat - no such option in the Jester menu. As the manual says:

hello. my suggestion is install the sim without changing anything in windows. see how the sim performs. make a list of shortcomings and then methodically make changes one at a time until you are satisfied. welcome back and good luck!

Hi Guys (and ED), I would like to second OP and praise the MiG-29A Fulcrum module. The module is fun as hell and quite nice to operate and employ. i think everyone agrees. yet here we are helping people with stuttering. which, btw, does not happen to everyone. do you or @SharpeXB have TACVIEW running? i have seen other posts that this caused stuttering. many moons ago, i had similar problems and discovered having my windows desktop backgrounds rotating every 5 minutes or so. stopping that stopped my stuttering. when users call for help in forums, i believe it is best to follow the advice of those that take time away from enjoying the sim; if only just to test. empirical data will help if we keep track of changes and the effect of those changes on the system.

Right, players shouldn’t have to mess with Windows to run the game. I don’t think core parking matters one way or the other though.

Agreed that the issue exists. I did however get the impression that it was an issue with Windows, not just DCS. I've certainly included a comment to review that in my recommendation on VR performance:

I second what Raven has said. Go for a ffb base. Do you enjoy DIY? Would you consider building something?

I've got multiple paid campaign claiming that the Stennis were replaced by Truman until fixed from ED. So what's the problem with Stennis? Why removing the once already supported feature?

We shouldn't be using software for some game to run, game should run on non modded windows.

That's not what perfectly warming up the engine looks like. You rev it up quite high for a cold engine, exceeding the maximum oil pressure. At takeoff, your engine is barely at minimum temps, and you exceed the maximum oil pressure yet again. You should try applying throttle a bit more carefull while paying attention to the oil pressure and temperature gauge. When the oil pressure spikes above the maximum value, it's indicating that the oil is still too thick/not warm enough, and you should wait until it's ready. Additionally, I see you got the MW/Fuel switch on the wall in the fuel position and enable the MW switch on the dashboard, followed by a shaking of the engine when you briefly go full throttle. That might also contribute to your engine tearing itself appart.

Ich bin seit den 386er Tagen immer wieder zwischen AMD und Intel gewechselt, dabei habe ich das ein oder andere Brunkstück verbaut gehabt. Unvergessen der Phenom 2, der konnte das halbe Viertel mit Fernwärme versorgen. Ich war auch Jahrelang klarer Intel Fan und reichlich überrascht, dass AMD offenbar mit den Ryzens Intel regelrecht abgehängt hatte. Aber ich bekomme weder von dem einen noch dem anderen Geld und am Ende sind es zwei Milliardenunternehmen, die sich kein bisschen um mich kümmern, da werde ich ganz sicher nicht zum Hooligan. Zu Mainboards kann ich nur sagen, dass ich nach drei ASRock wegen Unzufriedenheit zu ASUS gewechselt bin und sehr glücklich damit bin, aber kostet halt auch 3 Mark 50. Es führt kein Weg daran vorbei zu evaluieren was du wirklich brauchst und dann am besten auf Geizhals gucken, wo du welches günstig bekommst.
