Hello, as I heard, before few days ago some Hawks 200 were here and they trained and fight together and against our Migs -29A. I know only one interesting info. During dogfight all mig-29 pilots won each fight agains hawk, and nobody from hawk squad was able to lock mig-29 and won. But as my friend said, hawk is beautifull and very good plane and pilots were pretty good. Hello everybody - more specifically system. I just wanted to post a picture of the model I made this arvo. Its purely practise as I want to become a modeler for the community. It's still being retouched and added to, I am aware that it is missing a few pieces, such as the hooks that attach it to the aircraft. I'm not sure what bomb it is, but its a paveway laser-guided something or other. Anyhow, here it is: Constructive critism pwease?

Just a random selection of shots (about 2.5Mb's worth) from the weekend which have been hacked about a bit with Picassa's crude editing. The line up was probably more interesting than my selection shows, with a good attempt at an RAF combat role display as the show's set piece, and up to 10 WW1 aircraft in the air at once (not very photogenic, but very impressive to witness). But me and my Pentax K100D made quite mess of many shots. The guys with their massive Canon lenses probably got some better results. Working nights I wasn't sure I'd get there, but in the end I went and enjoyed Saturday enough to go again on Sunday for a few hours (it's only an hour away by public transport). My only disappointment was not getting wet... you get much better photos in damp conditions. :-) And of course I'd have swapped everything I saw for the sight of a single Su-27, but it's been a few years, sadly, since Biggin had a visit from a Flanker.

(504)Russian plains,77th,Jabbog,169th, is the teams that have been around for some time now, But it dosent meen that you would learn more there then you would in others teams. Most important is not name off the teams, its that you get along whit the people whit in it, almost forgot, look whitch timezones the pilots in that teams are flying, could be that u are sleeping when they have fun :)

Yeah, the problem is not if yuo don't know but if you don't want to know more :smilewink: Now if you want to grow and get better then you have the right attitude... :thumbup:

IAT = Illusion Aerobatic Team. So they do formation aerobatics. By my knolage they fly the Su-33 mainly and maybe some other planes (and simulations) just for fun. Not sure you are really looking for that (you didn't mention you was looking for an aerobatic team)

Nice! Actualy my tactics have been refined a bit, because no matter where I was the Bad Guys knew where I was. So on one hand 90% of my kills the bandit knew exactly where to look for me. On the other hand I just put on my gomer scarf and glasses lit up a Benson and Hedges and put my Virtual Life on the line. Im very picky when it comes to engagements, who what when where why and how to egress. For instance the water skimmer tactic- very useful in some cases but sure suicide in the end. I killed alot of people using this tactic and I also got killed because of the external settings. They knew where I was when my radar was off. I would say thought the most fun was the 25k kills. shoot a 120 at ya make you fumble, fox 3 again sure death, ahhh nope good pilot, fox 3 again and wamo!!!!!!! By the time your migs were not even a threat to me and I had all of the angles on ya, I could see the numbers on your vertical stablizers. A good finish to the kill "Gun slinger" then RTB for tea and crumpits. SAM WEZ and proper ingress and egress, know your battle field and let the bad guys chase you every once and a while. It is exciting when you know that your enemy is winchester and you have got a good load on you. Masking attacks fun and lethal when an A-50 is 15nm at 24k above you and you know that bandits are hot on your tail. I also tried in the begining of the Blak sea battles and was very secessful of spanking A-50s at Mach 2 just when the SAM's would launch. I also have killed friends sorry guys S! What's wrong with the majority of us! :D There are quite a few that fly both, I'm pretty sure 3sqn and IAT fly both colours, but they will probably ask you to fly one plane all the time though.

EscCtrl explained it very well. Also it is very strange to measure let's say IAS and vertical speed (both are the same - speeds) in different units. In our development we are using SI (Systeme International d’Unites) - Kilogram, Meter, Second, Ampere, Kelvin...
