A big hello to the Lomac community, I've not been flying for a while as I've been spending what little time I have on rFactor and Live for Speed, which has led me to a pretty cool discovery. Someone recently found that a Directx modification for Grand theft Auto made by a rather clever chap named Boris Vorontsov also works in rFactor, GTR2 and Richard burns. I noticed there was a directx8 version of the mod so I tried it in Live for Speed and it worked, then it struck me that Lockon was also DX8 so I tried it and it only bloody worked in Lomac too didn't it. :megalol: Now I've not been messing too deeply with the Bloom settings in LO and the screens you see are just quick snapshots using the same config that I use for rFactor so the effect is extremely oversaturated in some areas but the good thing is that the mod is heavily tweakable so people can work with it and share their findings. Theres also a reflection mod included which I disabled in the .ini file but it works too, it just needs tweaked properly which I don't have the time to do right now but it does make the planes give off reflections and it was pretty cool. A water mod is also in there as well but again I've not devled too deeply but knowing the Flight sim community just like the Driving sim community are a picky and rather resourceful bunch I'm sure you'll either hate it if have fun configuring it to suit your taste. To activate the mod just take the files named enbseries.ini and d3d8.dll from the zip file I attached and put it into your main Lockon directory. A few things to note, 1st up is my lomac flaming cliffs installation isn't working as I reinstalled windows and my disk is buggered so I've only tried this in lomac 1.0 but surely it will work in FC too, and 2nd is that no matter what resolution I set in lockon it always goes to 1024x786 when using the mod, it could be my lomac config thats warped as it was just a quick install and test. The file named enbseries.ini is the config file that controls all the effects and there are quite a few parameters that are adjustable but thankfully theres a readme that explains what each one does. Here's the files and some screens along with a link to the original creators website, he's got a guestbook so if it adds something to your LO enjoyment drop him a line saying thanks. Dont use any download managers on my mirror. They wont help you with getting more speed. Simply click the link!

In cooperation with the vvs504 Squad i prepared a mirror for the forum community. Max download speed is 5000 kb/s for all of you together and at the moment maximum 10 download slots. So dont be impatient if you cant download directly! Dont hammer the server, simply wait a couple of minutes. Simply click on this link: <closed> to download the video. Be advised that i might stop the mirror anytime if the traffic should hit certain limits. Please keep this link on this forums, so all of you can download it before i have to close it or new mirrors arise.

Given it is a looong video (about 27 minutes), the file size is pretty big on this one. Also, as I'm SURE some of you will point out, there are a couple visual bugs in the video. Please remember that this is BETA software and we are aware of these issues and are doing our best to address them. Also, this code is still not optimized but the optimization effort is in fact starting next week that will result in increased frame rates.

All links starting from note #4 and up are dead for me. Anyone have some other links which are alive?

What type of fuel did You guys use in R.O.K., IIRC You do maintenance on F-117 and F-16, right?!! F100-PW-200 and 220 turbofans used JP4 but I'm not sure which fuel feeds F110-GE-132 found in BLK60.

From another aircraft, yes I can totally concur with this statement. But from ground units im not so sure. Re. this thread If Kill Ratio was all that mattered then everyone would just fly F-15's, fire 120's from no closer than 15nm and then run back home to load up with more, anybody can get a perfect Kill Ratio this way as boring as it is. To have Kill Ratio as a score that represents pure skill - I don't think so.

I agree with Ice. You should fly first in the name of your own (and others as a consequence) pleasure. I don't measure that in some numbers.

А Беркуту, также как и остальным начинающим моделлерам, для начала продумать план изготовления до самых мелочей и деталей по пунктам: 1. Как я буду делать это... 2. Как я буду делать это... 3. Как я буду делать это... 4. Как я буду делать это... 5. Как я буду делать это... 6. С какими сложностями я столкнусь в пункте 1... 2... 3... и тд 7. Как это сложности обойти. Если обойти не удаётся вернуться к пункту 1 и пересмотреть его, затем 2... 3... и тд.
