We've got a couple of optimisations to run on the templates, but they will be release shortly

I seriously doubt ED are modeling one aircraft at a time; it doesn't make business sense. I'm thinking the majority of their staff are working on the current title while a few have started on future releases. Remember the Apache and A-10 pits? And who in the world have been giving me rep and why? I try to think of one instant where I contributed to this site and couldn't. So who got a crush on me! ...mmm? :D

Here's a web page with lots of things said about Russian avionics: Overscan's guide to Russian Military Avionics It has lot's of info on MiG-29 and Su-27 radars, and signal processors. It cites a big list of sources at the bigging of the page, but doesn't later specify which source yielded which peace of info... and that is barely better than citing no sources at all. Anyway.. lot's of data there, so knock your self out :)

Hello fellow Pilots. Me and my freind has worked really hard the last couple of weeks to get this model finished with animations UW mapping and skinning. ASwell for some modeling. The base model was made by Mario Costa of the Virtual Halcones display team, aswell witht he help of Mr Frazer And Mr Maligant i belive. Me shaggy has done allt eh skinning which is a work in progress and my Dear freind "Petter" Crow has done all the aniations and interior modeling aswell as the UW mapping. There is lots of Extra 300L solo aircraft out there read to be pained on this bird, so i will be doing an easy to use paintkit for those who want to make their own skins. Mod will include a skins file for 6-8 skins aswell ready to be aötered for your personal mod. Mod will also contain Extra 300L sounds. This is truly an amazing aicraft, and with the right settings in Loc On you can get close to its manouverbility :smilewink: And Now Some Pictures Enjoy And by the way.... the Royal Jordanian Flacons texture i am making is allready supposed to be used in a virtual team i am starting, just in case anyone has planned to start a Jordanian Falcons team :smilewink: EXTRA 300L "The Halcones "Work In Progress!" Не успею вернуться с работы к этому времени :( Собственно хотелось бы, чтоб на данном севещании в первую очередь решился вопрос тестирования сервера АвиаСибирь. (дата-время, миссия, и.т.д) Во-вторую очередь хотелось бы, чтоб обсудилась миссия первого МИВС. Я бы предпочел отлелать нечно похожее на крайний ИВС (Т.е. первые атакуют одну цель из нескольких, вторые пытаются предугадать действия и граматно защититься). И было бы вообще шикарно, отдав миссию синим, предложить им самим выбрать сторону. В-третьих, определиться с кандитатурой РП (основного и запасного). От себя бы предложил Владимира (человек имеет уже достаточно большой опыт благодаря работе на real99). И еще, если у нас все сложится с проектом, то возникнет острая необходимость в своем форуме... Может и этот вопрос стоит затронуть.

The original Rudder Pedals Here are some pics of the pedals used in most Russian planes.. The KA-50 I think use an other type, but I have no pics of those..

Agreed. An F-16 in DCS would be really great, but there is more to Falcon4 than just that bird: The interactive fully dynamic campaign, that is also playable as an online campaign, the idea of not only having targets along your route but actually participating in a whole war, with ten-thousands of units in the air, on the ground and on the sea being simulated is still a completely other league IMHO and it is a lot more immersive than virtually any other sims I've flown - except Janes Longbow, perhaps which had at least an AI that reacted to you, changed positions according to your actions, etc. I hope DCS can simulate that, too, sooner or later. Then we'll see a LOT more players and customers here.

As for me, i think its a littel boring movie, especially for promo...

The curtain and rails you see in that Flanker is used to limit pilot's external view on purpose! This way an instructor who's riding the back seat trains his student (pilot) to follow his instruments without any external visual cues. When instrument flying becomes a second nature, pilots are granted some sunbathing! See it also here, fully functional...in all it's beauty:

Think I can answer that one :) It's for when you're flying over the ocean. You want a orange suit so that any rescue party could see you better. You wouldnt want to be in the north atlantic for very long, even though the suits are made to handle cold and water...;) Norwegian F-16 and Russian Su-33 use orange suits all the time. максимализм Мое мнение что некоторые моменты DCS: лишний мусор на земле,живые листья на деревьях, реалистичность удивлённых (выпученных) глаз и запах пука лётчика в кабине-немного лишнее.Эти "прикольные" штучки на пилотирование не влияют, но тормозят СИСТЕМУ, отвлекают от ДЕЛА команду ED и заставят нас угрохать кучу денег.Зачем это надо я, как лётчик не понимаю! Для тестирования своей системы и наслаждением полученных FPS, есть тупые красивые стелялки типа Кризиса, там даже реально в воду пописать можно!А в ожидаемом подукте реально то,что только инстукцию надо изучать месяц внимательно, только потом можно получить хороший результат и удовлетворение РЕАЛЬНОСТЬЮ.Никакой супер комп и тренажер не заменят реального полёта и надо упор сделать на штатную работу всего оборудования, а земля сделана на очень приличном уровне.:pilotfly:

На заре ИВС никаких тренировок вообще не было, вылеты происходили по факту явки пилотов и каждый получал свою долю адреналина и удовольствия. В том числе от командной работы. Как правило, участвующие в ИВС, уже имеют такой опыт группового взаимодействия, тем более пилоты, состоящие в сквадах. Взять хотя бы Горностая. Думаю никто не усомнится, что он и без тренировки отлично отлетает как в группе так и индивидуально. Или USSR_овцы или Banda. В нашем скваде за уши в ИВС никого никогда не тянули, скорее наоборот, поскольку у нас свой график тренировок и ИВС не должны быть в ущерб внутрисквадовским тренам, графики не всегда совпадают. А поскольку данный проект дело сугубо добровольное и неформальное, то и "держать" здесь кого-то или "не допускать" неуместно. Кто изъявил желание, тот и летает, кому интересно, тот и пришел. Внутри коалиции, конечно, желательно выработать определенный план на вылет, но при наличии РП опытне пилоты (особенно ведомые) справятся со своей задачей и без тренировки, главное ведущего не потерять. :) P.S. Вот, блин, уже ответили. :)
