I have to share this with you all..! We're all going on and on about us being a "community".. And being slightly in love with words I have pondered over this. Not quite knowing what it takes to justifiably call ourself by a name as grand as this.? I thought a community would have to have some kind of social empathy. And since we are all more or less "incognito" I really didn't expect this here.. And then DCS released the Russian version of Blackshark, and so many of us got thrown into an involuntary crash-course in Cyrillic (or got really good at Babelfishing:helpsmilie:).. Yours truly not excluded off course..! After my gazzilionth try at accuiring some BMZ's or DMZ's or whatever kids call'em these days, I was on the brink of resignation. So I vented myself on under the banner of "buying the Russian version"... A thread that actually should promtly be renamed "NOT being able to buy the Russian version"! Since that after all is what it's mainly about? And to my astonishment I got a responce from a fellow member of our community saying that he would go out (.. and we're talking RL out here.. Into the rain and icy winds..) and buy for me a voucher so I to could download Blackshark..? AND HE DID IT TO..! I got the voucher code the very next day.. Just as he had said..!:thumbup: "Well what's so big about that?" you might ask yourself..? The thing is that no one would have thought any less of anyone who didn't do it.. And we shouldn't either..! But some members of this community stand out from the crowd as shining examples and actually go the extra mile for a fellow member of the Blackshark Fan Club.. And when it happens I feel a strong urge to tell everyone that there is no need for worries.. We MUST BE a community..?! Because we're actually looking out for each others interest as best as we can! All of the Russian spoken from the soundtrack comes from heroric cosmonaut transmissions. I even took the time to try to align certain words in Russian with dialog. Watch carefully and listen for the word "Buran." Okay... so it starts a little slow and is artistic. My music selections may rub you the wrong way. I like it, I'm proud of it. :) I have been told that it is impossible to make an entertaining lock on movie based on a realistic 'beyond-visual-range' scenario. I challenge that assumption. Part 2 to be completed Thanksgiving day 2008. Made without Sony Vegas or any editing software besides MS movie-maker. The action came from recorded tracks of 3 actual fights flown by the creator. Credits to follow in part II.

Ok, I normally dont ever respond to these things, but i should since i started this thread. Heres what I personally feel happened. First thing that happened was that Coyote spoke in Russian. This made us English speakers have to use an online translator which is bound to get the context messed up. I dont think Coyote meant to come off as harsh as it may have seemed. On page 2, i made a post with this quote "Not a clue on that. Maybe they will want to use mine". Thats probably where he got the idea of me putting it into DCS. I recently started 3d modeling with little free time I have and this was my project, so I dont expect it to be great. I do however appreciate the criticism. After all, if nobody criticizes, how will I know how to improve?

После изменения содержимого папки RadioMayak удалить файл SampleDurationTable.lua в папке Sounds для автоматическокй генерации нового "плейлиста". Сам не настраивал, вся инфа из файлика =) Логично, что в руководстве к боевому вертолету не написано, как слушать радио-маяк, но всё есть в текстовом файле. Как настроить радиостанцию можно узнать в обучающих треках + мануал. добавлено. Вдогонку. В полете всегда слушаю интернет радио kawaiiradio [сайт], anime_radio [сайт] , corbina_ragnarok [сайт] или animeacademy [сайт]. Мой провайдер любезно предоставляет услугу моделирования пропадания радио-сигналов. Правда, наличие сигнала не зависит от рельефа местности, но ведь и музыку в боевых мисиях обычно не слушают, ня ? Оконный режим 1024х768 не только повышает ФПС игры и понижает дополнительные тормоза от мода ENBSeries, но и позволяет смотреть AMV в полете ^_^ Хотелось бы на Абрисе, но незя..

GetDevice также доступна из Export.lua

Откусывает и еще как. У нас были миссии в которых шло превышение 2 Гб с последующим вылетом из-за нехватки памяти (особенности 32-х битной архитектуры). Именно поэтому была реализована постепенная загрузка объектов, только после попадания в поле зрения камеры.

Зделайте наконец нормальную модель Ми-8МТ,ато такое ощушение что раскрашеная деревянная коробка летает.А именно:Пилоны НАРов,бортовое оружие,нуи модель поправти с соотвествующими текстурами.На нем в Авгане,Чечне летал всегда будет приятно увидеть качественную модель и вспомнить былое!

Бывает, забываю в каком положениии в данный момент находятся тумблера или кнопки, особенно касается пушки, ДЛ-СР-КОР, ОФ-БР и тд. Быстро посмотреть и понять бывает не всегда возможно, они перекрываются РППУ. Можно ли сделать так, чтобы при нажатии кнопки, тумблера где-то в левом нижнем углу появлялась на 5 секунд надпись типа: "ОФ" или "БР"?

В патче это врядли сделаем, но на будущее учтем. Постепенная подгрузка была сделана специально, т.к. мы уперлись в ограничение выделенной памяти для одного приложения в 32-х битных ОС - 2 Гб. Если подгружать сразу всю карту и все что есть на ней, появляется большая вероятность получить "Out of memory".

Еще бы я хотел понять: почему в игре нет алгоритма сглаживания данных от осей джойстиков ? Посмотрите внимательно как работает такой алогоритм на поздних версиях Ил-2. А ведь в ил-2 вроде как нужен очень хороший джойстик, так как при включённом реализме легко неверным движением сломать самолёт или опрокинуть в штопор. Тем не мение алгоритм сглаживания в Ил-2 работает очень эффективно и позволяет даже в сетевой игре с "реализмом" играть на очень раздолбанных или дешёвых джойстиках. Если вы реализуете такой алгоритм в патче, вы спасёте игроков с бюджетными или сильно заюзанными джойстиками от переутомления в вашей игре. Я обратил внимание на то , что у моего джойстика сильно изношенны повортные датчики (а у кого то это линейные датчики ("линейки"). И мне придётся снова покупать джойстик что бы снова нормально играть в ка-50. А мой джой стоит около 2000 руб.

The mapping ability in BS is pretty strong. Almost as strong as the SST, just without the macro function. But who really uses that? The only reason I use the SST software is because I can use the clutch button to see what I have something progammed to!

Coyote, luckybob's BTR-70 may not be the class for the DCS series but sure looks better than BTR-70 we have in FC1.12a and b! So unless ED decides to enhance current vehicles in LOMAC and FC and replace them with hi poly models in a 1.13 patch I see no reason for comments like that!

Ok, So I reformatted... I bought a new Video card. Settled on a SAPPHIRE http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102762 SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 3650 512MB Reformatted my HD and reinstalled all my new games.. Crysis Warhead, Dead Space, Farcry 2, Crysis, Battle Field Series..all, Flaming Cliffs.. On Flaming Cliffs the install went uneventful. I installed Lock-On and then Flaming Cliffs. I patched it and activated it through lock-on.ru and my account. Got the StarForce driver uninstall utility and I'm now ready for anything. Flaming Cliffs looks like never before, upgrading from an ATI 850XT 256. All my games look amazing. Thanks guys for all the support.

Of course most drivers have been doing questionable things at times but Hamilton does it a lot more frequently and it's not isolated events, it's his style of driving. Off the track at the press conferences he's commenting more about other drivers mistakes than other drivers do, like a teenager blaming someone else. Of course he wouldn't be where he is if he wasn't fast so yes he's partly doing a really good job but overall I don't like his style and would have preferred to see Massa take the title. I think he took that one away himself. ;)
