Thanks a lot, great info. I was a little worried about saitek pedals just because I had a couple of bad x52 pro's but I guess they got it right with the pedals.

Not at all, the helmet mounted display is just a HUD attached to the pilot's face, plenty of button-mashing and switch-actuating goes on with the HMD in use.

It's all about muscle memory.

I provided the specifics via tech support - a ton of specifics. Just wanted folks to speak up about it the AI as its,well, less then expected, sorry for saying it. I want to learn more on others perspective on where they see troubles/anomalies... noc_o put in some effort, stuck his neck out there and I thoght I woiuld cheer him on as well as I agree entirely with his assessment. Sorry if some animation takes away from the seriousness of my intention... I intend not to mock your efforts, just ensuring I am not misinterpreted as malicious. After 30 years in development I've learned not to take myself too seriously on extra curricular / ancillary forums; it lightens the mood, encourages talking points amongst those that would not normally speak up, and presents an organization that actually cares about the deeper enthusiast without alienating others... just sayin'

Для меня не проблема, тем более цыфры знаю. И как обращение ко всей команде, т.к. уже в нескольких ветках какоето странно-злое буквально отношение. И у меня был вопрос разбит на части по которым хороший не обиженный жизнью и не ставивший себя выше всех разработчик мог бы дать ответ в приветлевой форме. А вот ваше нежелание идти на диалог как то старнно. Я как потребитель страюсь дать идею, чтобы продукт был интересен и привлек большее число потребиелей опять же к вам даже за счет более удобной работы с редактором. Вы же в свою очередь сопротивляетесь детальным улучшениям. Даже в доку вписать известные цыфры только вам (ну реалзация кака там, а сидеть суки для всез замеров вместо разработки инересной миссии - чтож за инструмент такой) не в силу. Как раз вот иногда 1-2 детали могут серьезно испортить отношения. Мне то как то персональное нежелание побоку частично. Не с такими сталкивались. Мог бы и ответить по независимым от нас причинам или бонального нежелания или усталости делать не будем.

Are you talking about in FC2 or in real life, I'm assuming real life? In real life they just have to learn what the different buttons on the HOTAS do, they can't change that like we can in FC2 or any other game. The reason they have to know what the button feels like is because they don't want to forget and be fumbling around trying to find the right one. If they want to go into bore and select to jett their weapons......that wouldn't be good now would it? That was just an example, but you get my point. There are times I forget what buttons do what on my HOTAS, and yes, that has gotten me killed a few times. But all I have to do is hit refly, they don't have that option.

After playing BMS now i can't go back do DCS's "campaign" :-/ it's so dull and lifeless.. I've moved over fulltime to BMS now.. careface.jpg i guess :P

have you got the sliders on the x-52 assigned to an action? i had speedbrake assigned to the slider and if i did not centre it properly it would continue pressing keys giving me a situation akin to yours. If you do have the sliders set then make sure that you use bands for the sliders so that the software only responds at the extremes of the slider. on a side note the x86 is the 32bit windows folder whereas the regular programs is the 64 bit. I also hear that the sst software has issues with W7 that drove me insane and caused me to spend a large some of money on a warthog hotas

A macro is not a separate program -a macro defines: what happens if ! This term (macro) is used when you execute one state (for example: press a button) and other inputs will be executed automatic - without to make any further interaction... This definition what a button does is programmed in the SST programming software on a X52. Try this obscure application to find out more! link ;) EDIT: Thanks for the question! - I edited my initial post to make it more "user friendly".
