Yes its true, I have found a way to enable Ambient Occlusion in DCS World which ultimately gives you much more realistic shadows:) I have to admit i was a bit desperate to try and figure this out :P Though its far from perfect since when you move the camera in a certain spots it dissapears for some reason and its different with the time of day but overall its a good start and with minimal performance hit. Unfortunately its Nvidia only. Steps! 1.Download Nvidia Inspector http://downloads.guru3d.com/NVIDIA-Inspector-1.94-download-2612.html 2.Open application and click on little tool button on the right side. 3.Open up Digital Combat Simulator Black Shark profile in the top tab 4.Click add application to profile on the top toolbar (little "+" symbol) then add DCS.exe and Launcher.exe from the bin folder in your install directory. 4.In the "Compatibility" section find the Ambient Occlusion compatibility tab and select the 0x00000022 Prince of Persia 4 profile. (yes prince of persia...) 5.Scroll down to the "Common" section and enable High Quality ambient occlusion (or whatever you prefer) and below enable Ambient Occlusion usage. 6.Click Apply Changes in the top right. 7.Done! Ну после доставки у тебя будет чем защищаться от нее. На выбор аж три варианта ББПЕ: 1. РУС 2. РУД 3. Педали С помощью первых двух вариантов и FFB можно для подруги создать некоторое подобие пневмопиха, уверен что она будет довольна и вы проведете время весело и очень увлекательно. :lol::thumbup:

IMHO its not a new feature. In DCS A10C you have always to switch on the JTAC's frequency. This feature should not be removed plz. :)

The original campaign download did not have any checklist files included. The checklists were included in the updated mission files. I'm still working on the overall checklist and will release it in another update once it is done.

Yes, I think we are all mature enough that we can wait a bit for this to be released, no sense in rushing it.

This looks like a promising way to help new guys like myself get into the multiplayer scene quickly. I'm going to make it my second home page.:thumbup:

Sorry, I meant douche bag in the nicest possible way. Hence the thumbs up at the end to indicate a friendly demeanour. But seriously, it really isn't difficult to share your knowledge with somebody. When you do, the question is answered, the person who asked the question is happy the and thread harmlessly floats to the bottom of the forum. Telling somebody to look for it themselves is pretentious and degrades the quality of the forums. Not to mention that all people don't have the same ability to search for the information they want. Sharing is caring.
