  1. In theory, no. Thry are stored in the config folder under saved games / DCS
  2. True... Run as admin?
  3. See my post above.
  4. Download this, set Varjo as the default OpenXR runtime, ensure OpenXR is enabled in Varjo Base and you should be good. https://github.com/WaGi-Coding/OpenXR-Runtime-Switcher/releases/tag/1.0.4 null null
  5. I've just come across the same issue on the new TTI Sinai map in the AV8. It's the first time I’ve flown the Harrier since the most recent patch and there is definitely something up with the comms menu. It'll display one time, and then it's somewhat random whether it can be called up again. This was not an issue prior to the most recent OB (am also using MT). Never used VIACOMExport.lua dcs.log
  6. @Mike Wazowsky Thanks! Folder inside the archive states 2.5 is this just a typo?
  7. As @speed-of-heat mentioned, are you overclocking the CPU and/or the GPU? If the former then I would suggest that MT is utilising more cores (as it's supposed to) and therefore the OC is having a negative impact (heat likely).
  8. It's not a a graphics settings issue or a HDD/SSD issue...it's obviously a different model. I’ve no idea why, nor am I going to judge, but it's pretty obvious. Perhaps the LODs weren't included in the release by accident? Who knows.
  9. Frankly, they look like completely different models!
  10. Autoscale on any CSP is an option, but primarily splitting out the resources used to service the auth and licensing versus the content download would alleviate this issue. CDNs were built for exactly this. But, it likely requires an architectural overhaul to implement, and I'm guessing that would be no small feat. Be nice....
  11. Many years ago, this used to be called the "Slashdot effect"
  12. Main thread limited in the DCS FPS counter is pretty self explanatory I think. No extraneous background processes and the sim runs fine mostly.
  13. With a 4090 any 12th or 13th gen Intel CPU will absolutely be the bottleneck in VR with a modern HMD, based on the current MT implementation. And the existing DCS gfx engine. This fact is well understood and accepted, albeit with some disdane. The same applies to AMD CPUs with high end GFX cards.
  14. Please don't, it works wonderfully in SP and allow for granular control of the reflections and transparency. Also, I'd suggest less coffee [emoji849]
  15. See my response in your x- post.
  16. So that view you are referring to is called the VR mirror. Am away at the moment but there is a config option to mirror left and/or right eyes and an associated resolution.

  18. On a similar note, in a reasonably old Redkite vid he mentions the ability to "convert" from CCIP to CCRP by using "uncage". Typically, where you're in CCIP, press and hold pickle when the dashed CCIP cross is over the target, but you don't want to hold the pickle button for the duration. I've never got this to work.
  19. Notepad++ has a tail option...works well
  20. [emoji23]
  21. Had exactly the same issue. Clicked trial on the site for Normandy 2.0, noticed that Normandy 1944 also selected as trial on the site (not my doing). Only install offered in game is for 1944.
  22. Have a look at chucks guide or a quick Google it'll give you the minimum rpm. It's perfectly usable as long as you dint start your run at 100ft
