  1. This has to be one of the easiest AC to start. Its like 6 clicks (without the lights, flaps and displays etc.) to get the AC started. Why would you want auto start!?!
  2. This might be teaching to suck eggs, but just in case you haven't done it, make sure you have created another folder called "Aircraft" inside the Mods folder.
  3. Once you have created the Mods folder in Saved Games and put your mods in, go into "config" file in the DCS Openbeta main folder within Saved games and delete any files for the A4 in the inputs folder. When you run DCS again it will recreate the A4 folder in "config". The inputs file for the A4 from the previous install might be causing the problem.
  4. The brake is set as a Axis command, even though it has a keyboard function "W". I still needed to set the axis or it would'nt work.
  5. Morning, as far as i am aware there is no F-23 for DCS, VSN have a F-35 and there is a community mod being worked on. for the F-22 , try this : https://fsoutlet.com/f22/
  6. I had a quick go on Sunday, and it was good . HUD symbology is the same. I actually got my first A2A kills in it, I'm usually a mud mover
  7. Morning Guy's I posted this in a previous thread about the F117. The cockpit is good but non functional and weapons can only be released with a JTAC/buddy lase but it is great to fly around in. https://grimreapers.net/2021/03/03/f-117a-nighthawk-mod-download-installation-setup-operation-guide-dcs-world/
  8. I tried the Mod from the Discord link last night, it looks the part and works really well. i like the digital upfront panel in the cockpit.
  9. Hi Guys, If you aren't aware, this Mod is out and is really good with a nice cockpit. I love flying around NTTR in it. https://grimreapers.net/2021/03/03/f-117a-nighthawk-mod-download-installation-setup-operation-guide-dcs-world/
  10. As wisky said, you might need to change your throttle saturation in Axis tune. Happened to me when i switched sticks, i now have to have saturation at about 85.

    Harrier Sounds

Good Morning All, I use the Stable version and recently got the new update. Without thinking, i installed without reading or backing up any files i thought might be important. Because of that, i lost the original Sounds file. Does anyone know where i can get a copy of the file or does anyone have a copy they can share? I've tried my hardest to get used to the new sounds, but I cant!
  12. Agree with Tim on this, i bit the bullet this time and got the Hornet to complement my AV-8B, even at 30% off it is still worth every penny.
  13. Just a heads up, i tried the clickable_common method and it works although you still have to activate it with Alt+C. The only thing i didn't like about it was that the cursor would end up pointing off centre. I'm going to have a play about with the lua to see if it is possible to stop it from doing that.
  14. Morning, This was posted by mcgrips in a topic called "Can't assign mouse button" posted on the 26th Nov 2020. Worked for me.
  15. Surely being able to read the MPCD's counts as an priority/important issue though!!
  16. Morning Sean, no mate, its only manual unfortunately. For the RDRY question, Dry or Wet refers to whether you are using water injection as in Dry = No water and Wet = Water. I might be wrong, hopefully someone else might correct me.
  17. I think the extra pylon is just for missiles though, no heavy ordnance, but i suppose it would free up the two outer pylons for a bomb and use the outriggers for the sidearms Hopefully, one day we might get a GR version #fingerscrossed
  18. Morning, Its because the AV-8B N/A is a different Harrier variant to the British GR7/9. The two tusks belong to the Marconi Zeus ECM system I believe, and is the reason why we don't have a British version as it is still classified i think.
  19. Hi Guys , this might sound silly but I access the buttons through the warning panels i.e. the cursor will change to the green cross when you are in the right place. then it is just a case of memorising what the buttons are.
  20. Hi Dimitri, As recluse was saying, place a general marker in the area you plan to hit (Do not name it) Then mark your targets, The first target being labelled T01. You should not have a T00. This works for me.
  21. Morning All, I too would like to say how much of an Awesome job RAZBAM have done on this module. I'm new to DCS and tried most of the modules during the free month back in April. The only one i kept going back too was the Harrier. I recently managed to persuade the other half to let me buy it and unfortunately for her, have spent many hours trying to Tame ( Term used Loosely :-) ) this absolute beast! Great Job Guys, keep it up!
  22. Thanks, but this is the airfield I start from so I would've assumed it would be friendly. I've not ventured into multilayer yet. I only do quick missions etc, no matter what airfield I'm at or aircraft I'm in, I can go to select a laodout but it never loads. Really annoying as before I downloaded the stable version it all worked!
