I changed my CPU yesterday and everything is fine except that DCS is asking me to activate my A10C and KA50 modules at every start of DCS. This is getting annoying
If i activate both modules at the DCS start i get the message that the activation was successful but both actication windows stay visible on top of DCS so i can't use DCS. If i cancel the activation at the start of DCS i can't use both modules... I also tried to go to the DCS/modules/bin folder of both modules and run the activation from there as admin and both times i got the message successful activated and this time both activation windows closed itself but i get the prompt to activate both modules again if i start DCS. The only way to use DCS right now for me is if i disable both modules in the DCS module manager -> no activation prompt ontop of everything, but this way i can't use the modules...
Does anybody know a solution for this problem? If possible one that doesn't tell me to delete everything and install from scratch. ;)
Do you use TrackIR? If i remember correctly the default keys for "pause/center..." are F10/F11/F12 in the TrackIR software, you can change the key bindings for that functions in the TrackIR software.
+1
Tried both missions and both loaded without a problem.
Are you running any mods? Please double check/deactivate and test again? I'm running an vanilla OB and as i said, both of your missions run fine.
I really hope we see this little bird this year. Now that i use VR flying helicopters is a blast, i love to fly fast and low with them and the BO-105 would be the perfect Heli for that! :joystick::pilotfly::thumbup:
Some pictures(sorry VR) below.
- if you use the Canopy Emergency Release Handle (pic1)
- your canopy disapears (pic 2 and 3 / F1 and F2 view) like expected
- if you put your Canopy Emergency Release Handle back up (pic 4)
- your canopy appears again (pic 5) in the F1 cockpit view, not like expected -> bug
- but remains gone in the F2 external view (pic 6) like expected
This was tested in SP, latest OB version.
I actually stand up and moved to the sides to look that way, if i would have done that in flight i wouldn't be able to use my pedals or the HOTAS -> i would crash ;) But if you have enough space you can actually leave your cockpit and look/go around your aircraft. What i discovered is that you can put your head through the windows which is not possible with TrackIR...that is a little immersion killing for me and for you MP guys maybe a little advantage for the one with VR but you can't check your six that quick and easy in VR as with TrackIR. Thats actually real work in VR instead of a little glance to the left or right, so it evens out overall.
Hm, i got an software update today, it only states Version 1.38.1 without anything else in the update news. Anybody knows what they changed/improved/fixed?
I also noticed this today after the latest OB patch, never happened before. I'm using VR and did a quick and dirty video of it, this bug is not visible from the F2 view for me(start of the video), only from the F1 cockpit view.
Are you sure about that release date? In my order history i can see that i bought it 09/05/2013.
Personally i don't care about multicrew, i don't have somebody who would fly with me....but i can understand the frustration of peaple who have someone to fly in their birds.
The only cons for me with the latest PTC Update is that my hand controllers tracking is way worse than before, i get still the sporadic white flashes and i can't hear any sound improvements. But the headset sound is not that important for me.
