Yeah I've been playing a lot of ground attack scenarios recently and it really bothers me when all the vehicles move in a straight line convoy like that - sometimes only the front vehicle will do any attacking and the only 'intelligent' movement from anyone else will be to drive around dead vehicles :( Would take a lot of work to program anything substantial like you described though - always wondered whether a company like ED would ever consider teaming up with another developer so we could have online amtches where tank-sim-fans drive the land vehicles whilst us lot bomb them from 10k' :D Definitley agree with that unit - saw a great video of a gunners view from one of those - launching all kinds of weaponary on a group of insurgents below :D

If you can afford it you can get good TFTs with a tiny edge - my 19" has about half an inch around the edge. Cost 150pounds though which is about $300.

I remember this - very interesting to see things inside a real cockpit in action Only ever had that chance once IRL but after 9/11 you can no longer chat with the captain - was in a 747 with huge glass radar screens showing weather fronts and aircraft with an overlay of coastline and airports :)

Lots of civilian aircraft like SuperKungFu said. Would love if Lockon could connect with FSX and one team had to protect the airliners while they tried to land and the other had to gun them all down yeah im a mean person :P

Thats what they are doing hence ICE posted a picture of the inside of the cockpit behind the pilot as thats what we'll see when the canopy and that panel you mentioned is lifted :) At least I think so.

You can get blender for free (legally) as it is a shareware product. http://www.blender.org/cms/Home.2.0.html I've given it a go but 3D modeling isn't as easy as I had hoped - theres a lot to learn. Would be good to have more modelers here :)

Any point? I see OSX as backward windows - the cross in the right hand corner is in the left hand one etc :P Until most media runs linux properly without any effort (i.e. having to do something other then click install) i'm not that interested - fun for anyone with the time i guess As much as a lot of people hate windows it works most of the time and nothing else seems to do better or if it does it doesn't support the stuff i want. Yeah same for me - landing at 300-400kph works in lockon so its fine with me - as for slight weaving well its not slight for me, have to use full width of the runway :P

having never flown anything more then a radio controlled chopper around a mates snooker room I'd say its pretty realistic :P Haven't played it for awhile since buying it - not so keen on flying aircraft that easily succumb to overstressing personally - and whilst flying the helicopters is fun its nowhere near as fun as flying a helo in BF:Vietnam (which I'd say is a very good attempt at a flight model considering the plane flight model) meh

He already made a major update to sort that issue after much complaint - give him a chance to modify elsewhere and try and specify 'how' you think it should be sleeker - could just be the viewing angle and picture.

Its all a popularity contest! I have no idea seriously - from the forum view mine shows as '3 reputation' but in the USER CP it says '11 points total' and has a nice little message from a member called 'dynamocl' :)

I haven't got the time or dedication to play everyday - when I do play though it will be in a gaming binge of many hours.

I press ALT+Home and Shift+Home for both engines to power up - You realise it takes a while for the engines to warm up right up to idle throttle? Just press both and wait - watch the gauges

I downloaded the first pack you uploaded - Happens to all the screens I have tried so far - Mig Su33 F15 and A10 Maybe I haven't configured my widescreen fully - I used a guide someone made a while back - I simply changed the numbers 1.33 to 1.6 in the graphics config and set the ratio in the options accordingly.

This is the problem I have with the screens - my screen is 1440x900

I just tried it out - I like the pictures a lot but two things First I just copied them into the required folder as the readme says - BUT when in game they are in 4:3 ratio and too small vertically Second - would be nice if there is a way for the screens to randomly swap between each other - I noticed when the A10 screen loaded the AI one came up for a moment - made me think could there be a way they could work interchangeably

:( which means I'm going to have to learn to edit it myself most likely to keep my mods under control - nevermind

What files would these be? I have no idea whats in the pack. Can't be that much of a chore to reinstall? set aside a day when you wont be using your PC but have time to sort it. P.S. If its the MEINT file theres a copy on Lockonfiles.com I'll find for you in a minute
