Just upgraded my ssd from 250 to 1TB. PG, NTTR and Syria here, maps take the largest space on disk.

Which runway to land on? Unless directed always land on Left
Pantera93 replied to DmitriKozlowsky's topic in DCS 2.9
IIRC, Nellis always gives me instruction to taxi and T.O. from runway 3 Right, but it won't tell me which one to land on. Should I use 21L or R in this case? -
I have a 36 element on-off-on switch matrix that works fine, no diodes involved, the only delay is due to the fact that, when switching from low to high, DCS animations stuck the virtual switch in the middle position (e.g. M2000 lights). So, don't go too fast and follow the cockpit. I use this trick to make them work. I wired up an Arduino Leonardo, so my box is recognized as a controller, don't know how it will work with DCS BIOS.

Bump. One of the most enjoyable modules to fly and fight with, it's a pity it's unplayable under common circumstances (clouds, ground clutter). Last night I ended up leaving it aside until this problem will be sorted out. I really hope this will be fixed asap.

Release interval distance - How accurate is it?
Pantera93 replied to sirrah's topic in DCS: F-16C Viper
It will. And in even repetitions, no bomb will follow the pipper (if distance is 600 ft, the pipper will be 300 ft apart from the middle bombs). I stand to be corrected Inviato dal mio SM-G950F utilizzando Tapatalk -
Release interval distance - How accurate is it?
Pantera93 replied to sirrah's topic in DCS: F-16C Viper
There are some platforms were I experienced this behaviour too and found out that both CCIP and CCRP reticles should be pointed "in the middle" of your bombing run when you set repetitions and separation. I believe Viper is one of those, along with the Hog and the Hornet, while instead the Tomcat points in CCIP at the first bomb impact point. It's quite tricky to understand, but you can practice with runway bombing and see what i mean. If you place your pipper at the beginning of the runway, with large separation (e.g. 12 82s with 600 feet) and high number of repetitions, half of your bombs will drop short. IDK if this behaviour has been fixed or if it is correct as it is, but it is what I spent a whole evening trying to figure it out. BTW, interval is separation between bombs, not bombing run lenght. [CANNOT REPRODUCE] No Stick Visible in the VC
Pantera93 replied to Bones308th's topic in Bugs and Problems
Did you check the "Hide Control Stick" option under GAMEPLAY settings from main menu? It could be that -
Same problem here. Flight of two hornets in a single MP group, cold start from Tunb with AWACS. Double checked both D\L ON 127, but no "letters" on SA or RDR page, we were visible just when AWACS picked us up. .miz in attachment, .trk from this url: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Y65ILpqzPs6yjcAPdbYWEgoAEMIl5_kW/view?usp=sharing The_Lion_From_The_East.miz

I bought the basic campaign hoping to have an immersive training experience, but it turns out it's a serie of "qualification exams" and it requires you to read the manual and already know how the plane works. I stand to be corrected, but that is what I felt from playing the first 3/4 missions. Inviato dal mio SM-G950F utilizzando Tapatalk

Found out about 97s after a session of "now I will try everything this A-10 has". Man, those things melt armored asses as butter... Inviato dal mio SM-G950F utilizzando Tapatalk

It's a Soviet-based navigation system. Yes, a sort of TACAN

I saw bandits behave this way and preemptively pop flares when I'm at their six without having them locked (maybe just painted) and without firing any missile. I'm doing that as well. It's just tactics, mixed with situational awareness, experience, feeling, instinct and a little luck. Dogfight is a harsh environment to be in. Anyway, "Lose sight, lose the fight" Inviato dal mio SM-G950F utilizzando Tapatalk

I think this technique is the key to achieve maximum accuracy. It should be about parallax/projections and coordinates retrieval. TOO mode is easy to employ keeping that in mind Inviato dal mio SM-G950F utilizzando Tapatalk

"Store release" for bomb release with master arm on I only tried to takeoff from Stennis, you sould use "Nose strut kneel" to lower the launch bar when approximately aligned with catapult (I couldn't steer when lowered) then "catapult hook up" and then "catapult shoot" when spooled up. Good hunting Inviato dal mio SM-G950F utilizzando Tapatalk

I believe is sensor select switch left or right when in ACM mode to allow HUD auto-acquisition. But also Boresight and Long Range Boresight modes (keep SSW forward pressed for a couple of secs) are always working fine for me

Mission 2: Cheavy group (harriers) supposed to kill only sa-8s but instead killed the whole t-90 convoy along with MQ-Reaper "Watcher" Hellfires. Left a full-packed F-16 flight (me and the boyz) to kill a single transport Kraz to omplete the mission. FAULTY LOADOUTS OR MISSION DESIGN? Anyways, not funny at all....

Yeah, just noticed the HUGE thread below mine. Guess I was too busy doing tests... Thank you!

I was jumping in a flying Hornet to try the new TWS "No warning" feature in latest OB. Seems I couldn't pick up the MIG29 in front of me on the scope. So I tried the "AIM-7" Mission in Nevada and found out that the only Radar acquisition i can get is in ACM HACQ (with or without HMD). No contacts on the scope, whatsoever (SA Datalink is still displayed correctly). Am I doing something wrong? Track file attached. Thank you NO-RADAR.trk
