I experienced already the funniest absolutely non explainable errors - i am working in IT. So with my Gigabyte Board wouldnt post with my RX6800Xt after OC, but after trying a different graphics card the AMD worked again and the PC bootet. On other occations simply taking the CPU out of the socket solved that very same problem.

Hey, i was fiddeling around quite a while to get the performance where i wanted it to be. Even with my Hardware. Since i found some nice tools to improve my performance a lot - it sure could help some others aswell. 1.) I run the DCS Steam version and both SteamVR and Windows Mixed Reality for SteamVR are non Beta. The VR-resolution is set to 100% - as recomended by SteamVR. I tried a lot with values between 80% to 100% - but with the later mentioned tools this is the best for me. 1.5) Disable the WMR input switching if not done already WMR input switching HOWTO 2.) Disable WMR Motion Reprojection This is the cause for the warped text and grafic artefacts. 3.) Make use of AMD FidelityFX (like Nvidia DLSS - but for AMD and Nvidia GFX Cards!) https://github.com/fholger/openvr_fsr Thanks to him we can easily add FidelityFX to games using SteamVR. Follow his installation instructions and place the two files into your game folder: *YourDrive*\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\DCSWorld\bin The standard settings are fine, but you can change them according to your needs in the config file: *YourDrive*\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\DCSWorld\bin\openvr_mod.cfg 4.) Sharpen the grafiks - ReShade https://github.com/fholger/reshade/releases/tag/openvr_alpha2 All the Files from the downloaded *.zip have to go into the same folder as above: *YourDrive*\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\DCSWorld\bin Via the Home/Pos1 button you can open the overlay menu: 6.) MY DCS settings - adapt this to your liking I got a massive performance boost with christal clear visuals. Sure with MSAA it would be nice - or better Pixeldensity to 1.2, but than the performance is not good enough to my liking. Have fun trying it and let me know what you guys think.

havent tried yet...but just came into my mind. Since you have to know about it and activate it by yourself it might explain the small numbers of users having this problem.

It happened while zooming in or out. But that just accelerates the occurance of the bug, it happens also while static for me. BIOS and all other drivers are up to date.

G2 and RX6800XT here, with SS to 100% i get very good performance. For me its a game changer. Way smoother than with SS 80% without the api.

CPU upgrade is way more resonable then GPU upgrade. First CPU afterwards GPU, especially with Multiplayer! Our Benchmarks are not really worth too much, since then a lot changed with performance. Just the general message that CPU before GPU upgrade stays...

I dont think thats its just one specific action, since the bug appears even when i´m doing nothing. But i will try later.

Same here its happening even after seconds in GCI. Newest drivers and game version. Tried the new Windows 21H1 aswell, no change.

Hey sorry mate i am not too often in this topic anymore. I guess since all the performance changes in DCS its not worth trying to participate anymore. All the new cards are proper for VR performance. If there is studdering with AMD change the PCIe Port to Gen3 and be happy. The thing with comma and point is language depending. In germany we write 10.500,56€ where others write 10,500.56$.
