Yup. For me, neither changing the suggested values in boom1.lua nor setting the core affinity for two cores seem to affect my FPS in any manner. I have now restored my settings to default (no point changing them if it doesn't fix anything eh?)

Does that even help with things like MLRS volleys and CBU87s?

As per the title, IL2 ClOD has now been patched. It seems to have mixed responses over at SimHQ. If you'd been thinking of getting back in, now may be a good time. Then again, it might not.

I don't think that upgrade will bring you amazing improvements. I get a noticeable, but not huge framerate increase (sorry, I'm too lazy to go about testing it to give you numbers) by OC'ing my i7 950 from 3.06 to 4.0 GHz. It's an increase worth doing the OCing for, but not worth spending money on IMO.

I just remembered it existing. I don't know how adaptable things like that are. I don't know if someone smarter than I am could easily adapt it. The OP clearly knows more about this side of things, as I wouldn't even know how to set core affinity using a CMD batch. Maybe I shouldn't be working in IT...

Didn't someone make some affinity utility for Black Shark a few years ago? I'm not sure if I'm remembering correctly.

Where did you hit it? They may not have simulated armour etc. but they at least gave different parts of the tank different resistances to damage

I have BS1 sitting on my HDD unplayed just in-case I need to reinstall World and BS2. Getting worried that I'm now down to 3 activations for BS1 though.
