I don't think it even uses CD-check. I think that came into play in Flaming Cliffs (if I'm right in thinking of the old starforce protection(and not the much nicer newer protection by the same people)).

There is no usual release time for ED stuff. I've seen patches etc come out in the middle of the day when I'm at work. Ten in the evening, around midnight at the weekend. It'll be ready when it's ready, and that could be any time they choose.

Do you know if the fps drop for the P-51 guns is caused by the same thing as the cluster-munitions FPS drop? Sorry. I hate myself for pestering.

Fixing that FFB issue must be good news to some. I'm not an FFB user myself, but that issue sounds infuriating. My biggest bugbear is the CBU/MLRS/insert multiple explosion here issue. I haven't played in ages, and I have no idea why though. I could still have plenty of fun despite that issue. I'm an idiot :)

They did mention that there was a delay in the release of the patch. Something to do with finding a bug at the last moment.

Sometimes some numbers get skipped. I don't think we got every version in between with the A-10

In response to the OP, I don't experience guilt, but I do frequently find it hard to understand myself at times. I'm a pacifist and abhor violence, yet I'm obsessed by controlled aggression. I used to love practicing martial arts, and I love learning the A-10 and Black Shark and finding out military facts. I love violent games. None of these would exist without genuine violence, which I hate. I don't understand it sometimes.

Cloud shadows were disabled as a whole IIRC because of the flickering they caused on sloped terrain.

My dog once knocked an entire glass of Irn Bru over a cheap keyboard of mine. My desk is somewhat winged, and she got her nose under a wing and lifted her head. The keyboard did not survive, and I replaced it with a much more expensive one. Perhaps that was asking for trouble.

From that screenshot, it just looks like a nice coordinated turn. It's not based on the angle of the turn per se. It's due to gravity that the ball moves. With the correct coordination of cyclic and pedals, the ball will stay centred in a turn.
