  1. Well I don't think the mods would take kindly to that!
  2. @metalnwood It's a good job he didn't love stationery too and frequently visit http://www.penisland.net Edit:whoops! It's ".net" not ".com"
  3. Not just Greece. A friend of mine was arrested for taking pictures of a demolished building near a police station in London.

    Is it out yet?

If we prevent ourselves from accessing these forums and ED's other methods of announcement, the game can be seen as both out, and not out, unless we decide to play it, at which point it becomes observed and can only exist in one of those states. Schroedinger's sim.
  5. Nothing. The guy has a gun and is clearly unhinged.
  6. Where's the "maybe" button?

Patience is a virtue Virtue is a grace Grace is a little girl who never washed her face.
  8. Any location restrictions on entries?
  9. Sooooo true :D
  10. It's on par with the release of FC2 IMO Edit: and it's $40 for a new FC model, cockpit, and the ability to fly the remaining FC aircraft within the DCS World (although I wonder how many will choose A10A over A10C)
  11. Pokésims :P
  12. I only partially understand the complaining about having to have a lock-on type product installed. This was the case for FC2, and it was always known that it would be this way for FC3. In this instance, at least it works with just Flaming Cliffs installed, so if you have FC2, there's no need to hunt down a copy of LOMAC. In the UK, you can pick up Lock On at Maplin, and in places like PC World (where I got Black Shark of all places). I think it's cheaper than TFC's website. I don't yet know if I'll buy FC3. It's not a question of value or anything like that for me, as it seems pretty much as expected in terms of price and content. I bought FC2 a few years ago, and that persuaded me to build my first PC at the start of 2011. I installed FC2, Black Shark and Warthog, and even though I was new to sims (I would say I still am), the only ones I found myself feeling the love for were the DCS products. It seems I needed high fidelity right from N00B status. In short, I'm not sure I'll buy it, because I'm not sure I'll play it. DCS modules for me mainly.
  13. Just press the pinky button on your stick/insert on the keyboard.
  14. My guitar never worked like that, at least not consistently. I must be REALLY ugly!
  15. Do you want any particular accent? I have a stage mic and should be able to get some good quality audio to you. If you want it to sound like it's said over a radio, I don't have the know-how to do that.

    Cured!?

Why would you want to be cured? If I'm ill, I don't want to get better.
  17. Well I bought it. Twice due to their crappy software. Hopefully it'll be decent with mods. I have 3 and 4 anyway and it was only one pound. I have no clue with this series, but I want to get into it and love it, but whenever I'm in the right frame of mind, I fly in DCS instead.
  18. When I got F4AF, it came with a quick start manual which is actually not too bad. However, the main manual is a PDF.
  19. Well especially because it was done in your free time: Thanks Wags.
  20. When taxiing, change direction with the stick (cyclic), not the rudder. It's much more effective. I do find the heli tends to drift left on the ground, though.
  21. Very clever. Cunning like a fox :D
  22. It sounds like Tacview could help you. You can use it after a bad mission to analyze what went wrong (although it's important to understand that it's all knowing and you're not). It does show you the engagement range of SAMs, which is useful for seeing you were in more danger than you realised.
  23. I'm really starting to like this. Tacview for analysing what happened/what went wrong during a fight. Tracks for making movies/screenshots :D
  24. Does this affect performance in any way? I haven't noticed any hit, but was wondering out of curiosity.
  25. It depends on the threats and topography of the area. 1 narrow valley with air defense units, no room to move and plenty fuel: my speed would be zero. I'll hover and use stand off attacks until I can move in safely. Once I'm moving my speeds are similar to the above, although last night I got an IAS warning whilst in the middle of a rocket run. Still hit the target :D It's probably best not to copy me, though. I'm not very good.
