Can you give me a source as to where ED explicitly state that please? As far as I know, the only thing ED stated was they preferred doing Western aircraft because it was more commercially successful.

Just some feedback for 104th, you may have forgotten to change the ping limit for the event. The ping limit was 300 for the event, (one of the reasons I signed up), but the server was set to 250 and hence me and another buddy of mine got kicked from the server for having pings above 250 but below 300. I was a constant 260-ish with my buddy around 280. I tried asking the organizers, but they were too busy with the event, that they bother.

Reading some of the threads on Heatblur's section regarding the release dates, I see that Heatblur's marketing team seem to retain that elusive, pain in the back* quality that seems to drive some of their customers nuts right from the MiG-21 days. I feel that pain, I was once on this road with the MiG and I told myself never again. Glad I didn't get tempted by the promises. *Edited

Yes, the speeds attained above was till motor burn out. From my experience, R-27ER burn time is around 10 secs. 530D I'm not sure. I think most people compare the 530D to the R-27R, which is fine as they are the same period missiles.

Nope, R-27ER is the fastest missile in game. R-27ER speed at 13000 meters and launch platform at Mach 1.5 ~ 5200 km/hr Super530D speed at 13000 meters and launch platform at Mach 1.5 ~ 4230 km/h Test was done in a standard DCS day at 12 noon.

As GG says, if there is an F-14 radar on your RWR, notch/defend against the F-14. By doing so, you naturally defend against the AIM-54C. AA missiles of the "active seeking" variety will only be detected once their radar spots you. Usually, in an Western aircraft, you get an "M" warning on the RWR

The CL fuel tank for the MiG-29 is anyway always used only to get to the battlefield. Not fight in it, so that limit is no issue really!

Go to Module Manager and uninstall the Su-33 standalone version. Both Su-33 and the Su33 in FC3 are exactly the same as far as I know. I have FC3.

Is this a multiplayer bug? Cause in single player, I did an AAR like a week ago in the 33.

Can you mention which version of DCS you are using? Opebeta latest or Stable version?

If this is going to be the "future" and every server owner starts running ping limits, then DCS clients will be limited to a few servers which are geographically close to them. This is a detriment to the multiplayer community. Hope ED can do something about it, I know its not easy, but one can hope!

I really hope we get a true TWS for the MiG-29S. Right now, its useless unless you want to shoot down bombers!

Well, they haven't tried selling a DCS-level modern Soviet aircraft like the Flanker or Fulcrum, so their argument that it won't sell as much as western hardware is baseless.

Any update guys on this new carrier? Its been ages since anything was said about this and seems like ED has conveniently forgotten it altogether and their focus is currently on the F/A-18C. They released the new Stennis carrier, but still no love for the Russian side.
