  1. @Taz1004 maybe you may have an answer to this. Have been happy to use without the shaders as my performance is OK right now, but the bit I really want is the change to the NVGs (the ability to set the size in the lua so you can see under them). If I was just to butcher this mod to remove everything else and keep that, which files would I need to keep? Would hopefully make it more robust to future updates for me as that is the bit I care about.
  2. Would be great to have the ability to use the George AI commands without having the interface open. With the voice feedback it’s easy to memorize only 4 buttons and would increase immersion. Addon to this, if would be awesome to have individual keybinds for all of the George commands (eg “WAS rockets”, and “search here” rather than “left short”) as an option, that way they can be assigned to random unused keyboard combinations and used with voice attack. I use Vaicom for Jester and it’s great, but I know Petrovich hasn’t been supported so this would be a great alternative that would work well with the AI system ED designed (which is functionally more simplistic than Jester as it doesn’t have these large rotary menus).
  3. Thanks, they should still be good. I made a couple of minor changes, will try and upload a new version this week (been crazy busy IRL).
  4. I used these (but they don’t have length): https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3312200/ try these too (charts included, a separate download for each theater): https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3311946/
  5. My understanding of its use is to port the VTB to an external display (like a separate screen). It’s on a black background so one can’t use it to “cheat” (I don’t like that word in context but I can’t think of a better one) and use it as some sort of fake HMD (which doesn’t exist IRL). It’s been like that for a while.
  6. I reported this here: Is this the same behavior you are seeing?
  7. Take a look at Quaggles DCS input command injector: https://github.com/Quaggles/dcs-input-command-injector let’s you add extra keybinds in saved games folder that won’t get messed up by lua changes - has been an absolutely game changer for me
  8. Chuck’s guide is pretty current (12/23/21) https://www.mudspike.com/chucks-guides-dcs-mirage-2000c/
  9. It may be that it's just the display that is bugged and not the target point itself. Can you still use it as T1, and T2, even it it shows T19 and T2X, or not?
  10. Summary: When the TPOD is in IR mode, the built in FLIR (i.e., not the one on the TPOD) will not change polarity on the MPCD. Background: Normally, SSS right intializes the MPCD to the FLIR page, if SSS down is long pressed, the FLIR page appears on the HUD. Subsequent presses on SSS right swap the polarity of the FLIR on both the MPCD and HUD and box the appropriate indicator at PB20 on the MPCD. Bug: If the TPOD is initialized with SSS down x2, then put into IR mode with SSS right long, and then the TPOD mode is exited with a subsequent SSS down x2, you can once again active the built in FLIR page with SSS right. However, once this occurs, subsequent presses of SSS right do not change the FLIR polarity on the MPCD. This occurs even if the TPOD page is no longer open. They do box and unbox the indicator at PB20 and also change the polarity of the FLIR image on the HUD (if present), however the image polarity of the FLIR on the MPCD does not change. To workaround you need to go back to TPOD mode with SSS down x2, SSS right long to put the TPOD back into TV mode, then SSS down x2 to exit TPOD HOTAS mode, then the FLIR page works as normal again. 11. IIRC there is something about the designation has to be less than 10nm away - maybe try closer?
  12. @Timghettahow do we enable the camo helmet textures (eg in a custom livery)? Also link to the decal paint kit is broken.
  13. Interesting - I was looking at this a bit more the other day and I noticed that on the ME there is a 3rd set of radio presets beneath comm1 and comm2 that appear to control the presets for the backup system on the right console - but then no way to use them. Would be useful to get some clarity on the backup radio head, how it functions and what it actually does as well as how it works in game.
  14. This only appears if you switch the "incitation au tir canon" switch on the PCTH (HUD control panel) from CCLT to PRED
  15. @AlphaJulietthis is still marked as investigating. Did you ever get confirmation from the SMEs about symbology?
  16. Hey @AlphaJulietI’m just going through some of my old bug reports. I think this one can be moved to resolved.

  18. @Damose989Working fine for me. You need to make sure that nozzles are >10° (or it could be <10°, can’t remember off the top of my head). But the key thing is it only works in one of those conditions (which is correct as is should be). Edit: just checked the manual, it’s nozzles <10° (Pg 113)
  19. I guess it’s optional to accept the update after you’ve performed it? On the PCN?
  20. +1 on this, thought I’d try out the Sky Warrior campaign - no wingmen take off from Tarawa.
  21. I think they are 2 different things. The police light on/off commands adjust switch 23, there is also meant to be a switch on the throttle, but I’m not sure how it operates.
