  1. So much buttons and i can only look dumbly at them... The nice here is the projection...
  2. At least its better than bad news over the news of the news... I still believe the news of the news about suppoosed news will be f18.... oR FC 3... maybe ? nahhh FC2 is tooo young..
  3. :drunk:Well i dont know you but happy birthday !!!:joystick::yay:
  4. It seems indeed your card wont support such a beast. I ve gone dual monitor too a 37" TV + 22" for gauges etc. I opted for a 580 but i think in your case a 560 570 will bem quite enought.
  5. Well, they just need a nice russian throttl, a decent distribution and Thrustmaster get a horsekick in the groins,
  6. Problem is you see vectors falling out of the sky by fuel out before reaching target....ai must be improved, or ME generator must be smarter itself by using tools inside tools wich is also complex. as dumb as F4 and EF2000 DCT (Dynamic Continuous Theater) were, is still better than to have to loose hours on ME to overcome AI issues. So before DCS gain anything near a DCT AI must be improved and unfortunatly that ain t a small task. Is you want a "perfect" DCT you have to shell military kind $$$$. And they dont even want some. So in this case a prefer a flawed DCT with the actual ME along it would be perfect world i don t know why so many thing they can t coexist, how many times did i change mission parameters in EF and F4 to suit my personal need and strike a weakness in the DCT flawed logic. Anyway we only win DCT becuae they fail in logic. The day they won t we wont be able to win a single border combat.
  7. Warning, Warning! Not intended awesomely long post. DCS suffer from 2 major problems: Less than stellar AI. And complex map generator that must be tweaked a lot to compensate the not so bright AI. That being said, AI was less than stellar 10 to 15 years ago when the first big dinamyc theater was realeased with EF2000 V2.0. and then, the not so far fetched, wanna be called, advanced F4 dynamic campaign. F4 was most festered by its supposed realism than the campaign itself. If you get an icy analisis. All in all, both iterations where a sucess (the second one after a massive debug), and since there s nothing on the horizon, anything as poor as those old time dynamic theater would be better than the void that we have now. Then surely you can say its a matter of online VS offline. But you can bet your rear end (not mine) that all would welcome a Dinamyc theater realistic or not, thats why people try to implement it in all flightsim being at least semi serious, or realistic (whatever you name it). Who the hell cares about realistic to the core, its about entretainment, or some people are getting themselves a bit too serious seated at their desktop while wife call in for dinner ? DAMN!! It was fun by itself to look at the FLOT and see what happens without you being in. As for the mission builder. Certainly not every one have the mind and added time to master it, most of us doesn t even have the time to master the plane itself (and/or build a cozy cockpit). If you don t want to end up with some automatic random mission generated where lack of AI shines, you have to overcome AI weakness trought tools use inside tools used, and in the end, you have to be PMP certified and do a detailed WBS just to create a single "realistic" mission, where the AI is brought down by its own use of afterburner before having its target in range. Not fun at all, unless you're after the praises you rightly deserve, but just a very few minority enter this picture. Just fly online? Unfortunatly, only a few minority have the structure and matching timeline to fly online too. If a DCT (Dynamic Continuous Theater) isn t important why has it been implemented in EF2000, DID titles, F4 and more recently Il2 series and RoF, and sometimes not by the company, but by the the customers who take the times to create them themselves. And if i would allow myself to say something, which i already am, DCT gave a new breath to the FCsim genre. I know DCS staff wishes to do the best, but sometimes as we say here: The optimum is enemy of the good. Better to have something than nothing. I really love DCS, but well sometimes my armchair general stalk and knife my amrchair pilot and i feel the need to feel i m inserted in a bigger picture and not only a mere sequence of unintegrated missions and i slip off to some unrealistic but fun DCT.
  8. About painting MDF ... Itdoesn t deform when getting soaked by paint ? Oris this a special paint.
  9. Many strange sticks. left most and the 0one you re asking. Are they all fixed wings ? Couldn t it be from a helo ?
  10. Its nice, and i m all for it, but really.... i cant have 34 joys in my house by pure lack of space. What would it take for the damn thrustmaster eggheads to release a russian grip (not even a throttle) or free someone to "build under license". Seriously, between the Cougars and Warthogs you can bet you have public to make a nice profit.... If we believe the SN out there for the warthog, you have more or less 3k sold and active, take the FC user, and it wouldn t be that idiot (i think) to think you would at least sell a K of them.
  11. I know your feeling guys, in AAO the map i hated the most was freaking Bridge, a single line, pathetic. And it was the most played map just because its quick and rush like, a pleasure for the COD kids.
  12. I don t judge things by one point only, but by a sum of them that may indicate a direction. Beside the 2 point i showed there s 2 others in my sleeve. They are only indications of course, so they may be misleading too. But so far i would bet in the F18.
  13. Huge numbers ??? tell me how much? cause i could barely find a dozen, and the ratio $ loss inflicted VS $ loss received is awesomely excelent. Without counting the rate of missions and etc. 1 plane up per 7 minutes Especially considering none of the more modern planes couldn t have done the job, where ready to or whatever and would have costed tons of fuel more than the a10 did... Considering you can loose 3 A10a for the cost of 2 F16 c/d or you can loose 3 A10a for the cost of 1 F15E, which BTW wouldn t have done the job due to smoke and clouds. One could safely say that the a10 outperformed any expectation, in such a right they where pulled off garbage bin and now will stay alive for much more time.
  14. Well i certainly don t know why Eagle dinamyc have secures right over F18, asked for as much as the comunity could provide hi res pictures of CVN 70. Please people tell me :)
  15. Its really looking to be promising ... I m each time more interested.
  16. Umm the AT-6b is obsolete before lauch. it will only be adopted trough made by americans politic. There s foreigner solutions more eficient and more ready for the same role like the Brazilian Super Tucano. Anyway i don t see why go back to WW2 solutions when the hog is there unless they are less costly to produce and the shot down rate of CAS like a10 would be high which is not. F15 pilot have easy lives, like come fast press the pickle, hope you helped, and get running back to base. Not that much effective, nor diferent to the f16.
  17. Model a R2 D2... Well DCS Star wars episode 4 or 5 or 6 or anything in beetween those would be freaking awesome ! The problem will be convince the repair crew not to wipe out r2 d2 memory so we dont always have a rookie r2 d2 in the weapon seat.
  18. This seems some madnes soldering time... i better prepare. I wish i could find the kind of material you have there as easy.
  19. Sgow us your seat and will think of sumthing...(guaranteed not to be nice:music_whistling: but usefull)
  20. AWESOME INDEED! You guys are quite putting it in this. I suppose it is exciting to fly in it
