Oke, Thanks. So, I can take it as an acknowledged "deviation from reality" in DCS from the DEV's, that was my main question, thanks again for clearing that up. I Hope it is going to be marked as "Reported" then, that is a great way of ending the discussion :D I can totally understand it is a low priority at the moment ..with al the development going on. But the line part "If or when it wil change" gives me a doubt. What I would totally not understand is that the dev's may be deciding to not correct this, when there is time for it (maybe that could be explained by somebody then). But okay, there is so much you can do, and so much I can do so it seems. All for an, even more, realistic simulator  Greetz

The Tadpole is very bugged..it should not react on roll !!! Note: Maybe a little, because of INS inaccuracy during movement about the Ptch roll and Yaw axis. It should only react on heading change..Not roll Change. Seems like It is programmed more as a flight director with command steering..... that is wrong ! It should behave like a needle pointing to the steerpoint at all times. Glad it is being investigated, but I hope it doesn't take to long..it is a clear mistake !

[FIXED INTERNALLY]Server Crashes since today's open beta release.
P3CFE replied to robgraham's topic in Game Crash
Sorry was not a server crash, but single player game crash. That at least..Seems to be solved.. One way or the other the scenario I used was causing the problem. -
Engine Is torching intermittent during startup. Looks like the AB flame, but goes on and off Great to have that as a malfunction, but not good for a normal start. Thanks.

There are keybinds for (Avionics) GPS and DL switches. Hope they wil be added.

Same here, Mostely about 10 minutes in game, it freezes and a Crash report is generated. -
Yeppp,,,What he said..:)

I agree with Bouli:smartass:

2016 I mentioned it already...No reply from the Dev'S

I think (but am not sure) that the vane is weight balanced ..neutral. If it would be effected by weight, g loads would effect the deflection en must than be corrected by computers or so. The most simple and errorfree construction would be balancing the vane. It then remains in position until you turn it into an other position by hand or by an airflow force. It wil not be influenced by g loads then. So even if there was no friction it would remain in position until disturbed mechanically or Aerodynamically.
-
Oke, I'm not that familiar with the vane system and I believe you if it is not moving that much on the ground. I know that with the F16 the AoA probe can easily be rotated by hand.. no friction what so ever. It should freely move to get accurate AoA information all the time. The point is, that it used to work perfectly in DCS, and I was amazed by the level of detail DCS offers. It is also a fact, in DCS at this moment, that if you got Elec power on the aircraft, you can see the angle AoA indicator needle move up and down on the ground with wind fluctuations. The needle got its input from a moving vane, and this used to move in sync..with the needle. I thought it was a great and precise eye for detail and realism. So why is it not like that anymore ?

Thanks, I'm suddenly feelin a bit less lonely on this :D

Is there any extra information needed on this Gripe ? It remains so quiet !! Or is it discarded as "no value" to the DCS flight Simulator realism ?
-
Did I offend somebody with this thread ??? So quiet.., no reply what so ever.... this is not the way a forum should work in my opinion..! But back to the objective side...! Is this gripe acknowledged ?, and is there something happening to correct this error..? Thanks for an answer.. cheers

Any Feedback on this ? Has any Expert given his opinion and some information about how this is gonna be handled. Very curious !!

At your command  attached it to "Exhaust Smoke not Following Airstream" thread. hope that will work. Note: I had a real lot of crosswind put in .. I think a hundred knots or so. just to make it more visual...
-
That would really be great, I know there are bigger problems in Life.:music_whistling: But this comes in second...:D Thanks again !
-
Completely agree with bkthunder.. The smoke should follow the same rule as the contrail with respect to direction it leaves the aircraft. If the contrails leave the exhaust in the correct angle at this moment, it seems an easy correction to make for the smoke. But if i'm wrong here, I would be glad to hear an explanation of the programmers or other experts. Regards..
