The blinker on the oxygen regulator shows a hyperventilating Pilot :D The breathing is way to fast, it should be about 15 times a minute, but it is about 45 a minute. Small stuff , but it is incorrect at the moment. Thanks Allready

As a hardcore simmer..i try to get into the game as much as possible. So I tried to breath in the sequence of the flow indicator in the F5, and I fell off of my chair every five minutes. I had to recover with a plastic bag over my mouth to get flying again :). In short.. the tempo of breathing indicated by the blinker in the game is to fast..about 3 times I think. its a bug I realize !! greetzz

A-10C Hydraulic System in event of left engine failure
P3CFE replied to justinm11's topic in DCS: A-10C Warthog
Thanks, I understand the reasoning behind it now and it sounds practical. Yep..i think it is not easy to find out at what RPM the Pump is with a certain Fan and Core rpm. And it seems to me that it is even harder to find out what the capacity of the pump is at a lower than normal RPM !! Well ehhh...Good Luck with That :) Thanks again. -
A-10C Hydraulic System in event of left engine failure
P3CFE replied to justinm11's topic in DCS: A-10C Warthog
But If the displacement of the pump is to low it will not reach the system working pressure (apr. 3000 PSI Mostely). A variable displacement pump will be delivering its max volume per cycle if 3000 psi is not reached yet (bij angeling the wobbleplate to the max). But if the RPM is to low, this volume/min is not enough to reach the 3000 PSI. Simply because the oil is seeping away through the system components, to the return in the reservoir, to fast for the pump to compensate. The pump can only reach the 3000 PSI if it is delivering enough volume/min of oil, so that there is a backpressure build up in the system of 3000 PSI. If the system pressure is reached the pump will adjust to get a reduced volume/min. Just to see if whe think alike...on this. Greetings -
Yes ...thats a bit disappointing ,..could be so easy to improve such a fine simulator, if only the devs would be more open and more communicative. Still not sure what the Devs point of view is on input an questions from users. How can we get them to speak ??

The statement that the customer has to prove a doubt sounds strange to me. The developers build a product that they claim to be realistic.. They already sorted out the way the systems should function i assume. The only reason for me reporting this bug is to get a reply, wich can be...: 1- Whe based this functioning of a system on "this and that" , you can look it up..."there and there" !. Or... 2- Whe are not really sure why whe did it..but whe lack the recources. please help !! Both of the answers are Oke for me.....!

Also ...it looks like the whole fricton model of tire to tarmac is out of order (to low friction value). The aircraft is acting like on ice, the way it slides sideways sometimes. maybe the early locking of the wheels is due to this friction beeing programmed to low. Just an idea

LG Handle red light activation is late.. The Landing gear Handle Red light comes on a few seconds after it is selected down. It is more logical that the red light comes on immediately after the handle is placed out of the up position to the down position. In the F16, I know this is the way it functions. That way there is a direct indication to the pilot that the gear is in a different position then the gear handle. So for down selection 1- Gear handle selected down (red light in handle comes on) 2- Gear travels down. 3- Gear reaches its over centered (down locked) position (Red light goes out). Hope the Devs can have a look into this. Thanks. John

You must agree with me that it is surely an unsafe condition, when you have selected the gear handle down, and the landing gear is remaining in the up locks. That is one reason that the red light should notify the Pilot. The red light goes out again when the gear has completed its down cycle (down and locked). This is the way it works in the F16 , I know that this is no good reason to state that the F5 should be the same, but I see no reason why it should be different. I will post it as a bug ..and see what the Devs have to say about it. Thanks for thinking with me. Regards John

To make shure if I got my point clear: What BBRZ said here is the thing that in game that is not good. At the moment the gear handle is selected down, the system electrically sees that the gear is not down and locked. This should illuminate the Red gear handle light immediately. At the moment ,in game, it does not light up immediately after selecting the gear handle down Again.. small stuff, but I think it is a bug. Greetz John

I also noticed that with a gear down selection during flight, the red light in the handle is coming on only when the gear is coming out of the uplocked situation. It should come on immediately after selecting it to a different position than the the landinggear is at that moment. So at the moment I select the handle down, the system sees.. handle not in up but the gear is not down and locked, then...turn on red light . I know it is small stuff... but if it can be changed it would be more realistic. So... sinds we are focusing on the gear system at this moment and before I post it as a new bug, can you tell me youre opinion on this. Thanks already John

Confirmed ..you are right.. At first I did try this out in the training scenario (cold start), and there it is possible to select the landing gear handle up. If I fly my own missions it is working correctly. Could you also try it in the training (cold start scenario) to see if you got the same happening If you do, there is something strange happening in the training scenarios.

In Game it is possible to select the Gear handle "Up" while "Weight On Wheels". This should only be possible while pressing the LG downlock override button (mechanical system). If the aircraft is on the ground (with landing gear down:)), the handle is mechanically locked to prevent up selection. If the aircraft is airborne an electrically powered system is removing the mechanical lock. In the present version it is even possible to select the Gear handle up without electrical power witch is wrong. The conditions that are required to select the Gear handle up is: Electrical power present + weight off wheels condition. Hope you can work with this. Greetings John,

Thanks for the reply, Regarding the F5, For Troubleshoot I turned every effect to 0%, and then one by one i turned an effect to 80 %, the second try was with the " touch down and rwy bumps" effect. This effect remained after TO ! Hope this info helps, John

no wheel rumble felt A10 c Hello, I feel no wheel rumble or bumps during taxi with the A10C after the last update . Touch down and everything else is stil felt and Oke. Further more with the F5 the wheel rumble is present, but remains being felt after Take Off. Also when parked before starting up. I can feel a slight bump every 2 seconds or so. Does someone have the same experience. Thanks allready

Wishes for effects Jetsseat Flying the A10 is really fun with the Jet-seat.. (until I used the gun...it nearly cost me my kidneys :cry_2:)..just kidding :), but it is a great violent effect  Wish number 1 I was wondering if there could be a little bump felt, when connecting for air refuel that would be fun. Wish number 2 An other thing is, that after take off the wheels are stil spinning in RL., so a reduced rumble of spinning wheels after take off before selecting gear up..would be nice also. (would be completely cool if you would feel the sudden stop when you hit the brakes after Take off :D). number 3, a buzz when seat height is adjusted. Number 4, A10 C bump when ladder is extended.

Noticed that the animation of a rotating nose wheel during taxi is incomplete. The wheelrim is turning while taxing but the tire is not rotating with it. The main wheels are oke.. This bug is present in 1.5 and 2.0 Regards John

Sorry to say it Andrey, but i've done some extensive testing on the jetseat and there is a problem!. I've got two motors that are making the jingling sound and that are weaker than the rest. It is the lefthand upper back side (nr5) that is the worse and getting worser. you hear it starting up like an electric wining sound and if it operates, you hear a rattle like there is to much play on the axle. In the beginning the sound went away when the motor was operated at max power (tried this in UWV editor)..but now the sound stays and the motor feels weak. The sound is getting annoying during game play, specially when you don't feel it vibrating. And the righthand seat lower (nr 2) motor is a bit stronger than nr 5 but also sounds like having trouble to startup. Is it possible to get two good motors ??. It should be no problem to replace them myself (with a little bit of sowing and stitching :D). The rest of the motors are almost without sound and feel solid in operation. Hope you can help. John

The order ID is WNHFLOUGP (hope this code is what you mean). It was a fast delivery, took only 4 days, way faster then I expected  On youre remark about bearing alignment.....well...I will give it a while, and test the heck out of the jetseat...its fun.. :). About the prop vibration, I really only tested the P51D. Remark: strange thing happend ..when I adjusted the strength of "High angle of attack shudders" to 100% the stall effect disappeared in game. then when I adjusted it back to 98% it re -appeared in game very strong. Also the piston beat is much stronger at 98 % now as to the 100% I tested in the beginning it seems. ( it now feels much more realistic while at 100 % I almost felt nothing) ....maybe something to check out !! Thanks for the quick and clear answers. And good luck with the business ! John

To Andre Hello Andre, Got my Jetseat Yesterday. Works great, but I've got e few questions. 1-Two of the motors, make a (licht non disturbing) high pitched kind of ringing sound when they operate specially when in low rpm, like when they just started to operate .... is this normal ? it gets a bit irritating if I only hear the motor but it is producing almost no vibration. This is mostly noticeable when the left hand upper backside motor is trying to produce the very light piston beat, I feel almost nothing but, the ringing sound is there. maybe it kan be solved by a more power full programmed piston beat. 2- And how can I tune the files for DCS modules my self...I can not find the uwv files for P51 for example. Where are those files situated ? Further more I want to say that it is a great product, specially when leaving the ground and runway vibration stops. Also it is great to feel which side mainwheel is hitting the runway first. What I would like to have extra is propellor vibration. I know that the piston beat is there, but it is a bit weak in my opinion (allmost not noticable !!) so I would like to tune that myself. ...but how :music_whistling: thanks, John

Great..... Starting thist thread costs me... You made me buy the Jet seat :)
