  1. If you like demanding, realistic, campaigns, then half of what I listed won't be for you If you have the Viper, look at the Gamblers. I just wrapped it up last week and it is really really good. Like I said you don't need to touch F10 at all. If you want F-18 and naval, look at Raven One and Raven One: Dominant Fury. In Raven One and similar campaigns, it's more like use F10: *I attack, Weed flies high cover, vs *Have Weed attack, I'll fly high cover. Wingman is, AFAIK, actually a separate flight where your tasks are pushed to "wingmen" smoothly, and they'll actually SPOT the target, attack, and kill the target. No "TWO, UNABLE". (side note, if some day you decide you can tolerate that, the Su-33 Sea Dragon campaign is fun and underrated) Fear not. Jump in and enjoy. The older Enemy Within and Georgian War *might?* use the build in older F10 systems but Raven One and newer are more streamlined. Those are both AWESOME campaigns; I'm replaying Enemy Within, and enjoyed my second playthru of Georgian War even more, and even picked up a history book on Georgia and the region because of it.. Those older campaigns with really chatty wingmen bring back a lot of nostalgia for my early DCS days.
  2. Apache600's Museum Relic Spring Tension - comes with Mi-8 Oilfield for Mi-8 by Dimitri Koshelev High Stakes by Dimitri Koshelev Iron Flag by Baltic Dragon . You have a flight lead and you are being managed as a trainee. Not sure if this counts Bf109 and Dora Challenge Campaigns - included with modules. P-51 too but it is masochistic and frustrating Serpent's Head by Badger 633. Free. He has other campaigns in the paid section I haven't tried yet. Ka-50 Deployment L-39 Kursant UH-1 Paradise Lost (as far as I remember?) you still have to manage radios though. The new BD campaigns like Gamblers and Arctic Thunder, you manage wingmen by simple yes/no using HOTAS, you can get through the campaign without touching the F10 entirely. Not sure if you're just trying to avoid F10 or you prefer the more casual style and less realistic campaigns (I really enjoy those, see some of them above).
  3. Come join us on the Discord. People have posted the code to make the necessary updates there. Even people like me who flunked freshman year computer science can do it Besides adding the clients in the mission editor, you'll want to adjust the recon parameters, and for transport helis like Chinook, the 'cargo door opened' animation parameters so you can load troops.
  4. Just don't make the dialogue regarding Saint and the JTAC skippable
  5. Dude I've paused and slept the computer for 15-20 hours before. The only problem I've come across is I'm running some MFDs on a second monitor and sometimes it 'forgets' my second screen and squishes all 5360 pixels into 3440.
  6. Hey all, loving the campaign so far. Mission 3 whoever Enfield is won't shut up about reporting on station...does anyone know the bind to make him stop? I know there is SHIFT + \ for Flaming Cliffs but can't find the mapping for the Hornet.
  7. Yeah MANPADS are OP. I set my slap switch (CMS6?) to like....16 flares at a 0.1 interval. I haven't played this mission in a year but when I got launched on I think I dropped like 32 flares just to be sure It's better to be out of flares than out of Hornet
  8. Hey Nineline, Didn't get a chance to ask at the FAQ, will the CH-47 have an RWR and missile warning system at launch, or later during the EA period? Thanks and regards, Col Akir Nakesh
  9. Hey all, I was worried about this campaign because of the bugs reported in this forum, but got it on a whim and happy to report that in 2024 all is well and the campaign works great. No trigger bugs! Those on the fence, grab it on sale with confidence and WATCH EKRAN Col Akir Nakesh

  10. Hey all, Just tried to give Cage the Bear a spin, took off, intercepted bandits and me and my homies splashed 1 Bear, 4 Fencers, 17 Backfires. 3 Tomcats were swatted by SA-2s. We didn't get any more mission progress notifications after the Backfires took off, and I RTB'd with a score of 50. Has anyone played this mission lately and were you able to finish?
  11. Hey Heatblur team, I'm working my way through some of the F-14 training missions and seem to be having problems with some of the triggers. Cold start mission: I get to the part that says: "Turn on: The ARA-63 POWER switch, the remaining DISPLAYS control switches and the radar altimeter by scrolling up on the control knob.", then I do as instructed, but the mission doesn't proceed. Notably, the master test knob stays highlighted, and doesn't extinguish even if I rotate it and push it in and out at every step. Best guess: maybe latest patch changed some of the cockpit argument in range parameters and it isn't setting the conditions for the "radios on" trigger? AIM-9 training mission: On the SEAM fl7 trigger, I get the part that says: "Press SPACEBAR when you are ready. Try to destroy the aircraft in front.". However the mission starts unpaused, and the Frogfeet are already spawned in. From the triggers, it looks like my opportunity for flag 7 to activate is being bypassed, since when I kill the Frogfeet, it doesn't progress to the "First Kill fl8" trigger. Track attached for AIM-9 training (apologies I do not have it for the coldstart or guns missions but kids are about to wake up) I get a similar problem with the guns only except with the IL-76s. Thanks and looking forward to the Phantom F-14B tutorial AIM9.miz_28022024_10-18.trk
  12. Hey mytai01, looking into trying this campaign out. Was it mostly bug free in 2023?
  13. Heya Deadlyfishes, "From UPDATE 08/08/2020 – 1: v1.68a – Updated ALL ground mission zones to use “zone polygons” which are essentially HAND-DRAWN boundaries within towns, cities, landmarks that still spawn units in a random position within the zone, but in a more realistic position to add a bit more immersion. - If you still like the “blob” of units in a circle formation in an open feel, there is a quick guide on how to get that spawning method back." I just tried the Marianas variation but found that reinforcement units were driving through and parking in water (the units were non-amphib like T-90s and Ural trucks). I'm running a vanilla mission with no edits to the file. Is this just the way it works with Marianas or is there a way I can force the units onto land? Thanks :))
  14. When I played the Dora campaign (maybe 9 months ago?) the only problem I remember really sticking out was the overcast (the missions still use the old cloud system) obscuring the enemy fighters. Did you write both the Bf109 and Dora campaigns?
