From the Early Access Manual pag.328: Interior to the SA display also has much in common with the HSI display that includes: • Compass Rose • Lubber Line • Waypoint/OAP/TGT Head and Tail • TDC BRA to A/A Waypoint • Ownship BRA to A/A Waypoint • Aircraft Symbol • TDC assignment symbol • Air-to-Air Waypoint (bullseye) • Selected Waypoint/OAP/TGT bearing, range, and time to (top right) • Selected TACAN bearing, range, and time to (top left) Currently, the displayed information in the SA is only the TACAN's "head and tail" if a channel is selected but not the waypoint's

Hi all! Just noticed that when a TACAN channel is selected, the SA page shows the "T within the triangle" symbol on the outside of the compass rose whereas when a waypoint is selected (and you can scroll waypoint numbers with the arrows on the right) the "dot within the triangle" is not displayed. I assumed the SA would behave like the HSI as far as TACAN/waypoints indication on the compas rose. Working as intended or the missing waypoint indication is a mistake?

Hi all! It would be cool if there was the chance to install empty external fuel tanks in the mission editor and in the rearm&refuel option. Currently, only internal tanks capacity can be set in the mission editor fuel slider and external tanks are installed full. So, in case a 50% fuel capacity is set in the mission editor and the aircraft is provided with external (full) tanks, the moment you jump into the cockpit, fuel from the (full) external tanks is transferred to the internal tanks (check the fuel page in the DDI). The automatic transfer I'm referring to above is "working as intended" but being able to install external empty tanks would still be cool. Doesn't the Harrier have this empty fuel tank option?

NVGs enhance light reflected from objects. If you fly at night with no moon (or no light source whatsoever), you are not going to see much. The same goes for shadows produced by moonlight: those are impenetrable. -
Hi all! As the title implies, after releasing the newly introduce BDU-45 Laser Guide: - there is no LASER countdown on the HUD - the bomb misses probably due to the flaser not firing I tried releasing GBU-12s first and then BDU-45 Laser Guided bombs with the same switch positions and the former hit the target (giving all HUD cues) whereas the latter not. It is easily reproduceable (just load the above set of bombs and perform two runs) but if necessary, I'll upload a track.

Hi Shu77! Thank you for the excellent work. One comment though: it seems the TACAN in PAPHOS is missing. I'm at work now and I don't remember the channel but it's in the 80-90Xish range...

If you search on the internet, you'll find values for bombs but I'm not sure there are values for guns (and rockets). Anyway, just be aware that mil settings are referred to a specific altitude (AGL), dive angle and speed; cannons though, since the rounds are "propelled" forward at high velocity and do not follow a ballistic trajectory, are a bit more forgiving. As a starting point, I'd take note of the depression of the pipper when using standard gun mode and start from there. I believe that somewhere between 20-30 mils is where the sweet spot is.

Apologies to bring this back up again but when using the keyboard commands, the flaps still do not move with increments... Something I am missing? I am using Open Beta. -

Heya! Sometimes I "zoom out slow" for a better point of view (this new point of view stays there) but when I "zoom view" (e.g. to look at a far away object), the view goes back to default. Would it be possible to save at least one view (in my case the zoomed out slow view) so that it can be accessed by a single key or button press? Thank you!

Well, I was not asking for ranks of ALL world countries (all countries within DCS do have their specific ranks anyway) but only for NAVY ones... We've got F/A-18s and F-14s so it seems reasonable to me. And by the way, NAVY epaulet or sleeve ranks (whatever are represented) are not that difficult to reproduce: one golden star above golden stripes of different size.

Hi all! When creating a SEAD Instant Action mission for the F/A-18 by the Advanced Settings, the mission generator bar stops at 10% and the PC freezes. It only happens with SEAD missions. I am unable to provide a log because of the PC freeze I mentioned. So: 1) Instant Action 2) Select Advanced 3) Select F/A-18 4) Select SEAD 5) Create mission (and mission generator bar stops at 10% and PC freezes)

What I noticed is that loadout weight is either not correctly calculated in the loadout window or is not correctly calculated in the CHECKLIST page... I'll add load a track asap.

Arrow48, I'll be happy to help you out but can you be more specific in your request? Give me some info (aircrafts, etc) and I'll create a simple mission for you which I can upload here so that you can have a look at its structure. I believe it is easier to start with a template rather than start explaining triggers ...

Anyway, it is easily reproduceable: 1) Load BDU-45 (I used 2x) 2) Access the store page 3) Select the BDUs 4) Below the aircraft profile you will see PROG 1 5) On the lower left of the DDI (second from the left if I remember correctly), the PROG OSB is missing Do the above with another weapon and you'll understand what 5) is about

Hi all! I noticed that no PROG OSB is available to program and cycle through different A-G programs when BDU-45s are loaded (haven't checked BDU-33s). PROG 1 is visible but it is not possible to select other programs. Is it supposed to be like this? Thank you!
