I have an OCZ Vertex 2 120Gb HDD. In this Hard drive are all my DCS-W Installations. The disk has crashed. (Can't say neither how nor why, had no problem yesterday, today crashed and even not recognized in BIOS) Whatever. With my HDD crashed, I can't access it and de-activate my modules (logic!) So am I condemned to loose 1 activation per module? (Damn It :cry:)

Controls are pain in the *** to remap but for now FC3 runs flawlessly for me. (At least the f-15) Oh, just one thing I don't understand: why the radar breaks lock by itself every 5-10 seconds. I have to re-lock my target constantly... I have to investigate about that.

Hope the Fast jet team is not the same as FC3. Otherwise, what a lack of time (for the DCS fast jet). So, ED, Can you give us a percentage of completion for the Fast Movers development? (Having this is dreaming but why not ask?)

What are those new files: - uh1_protect.dll and uh1_protect.exe in the folder ...\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\bin\ Does that means the Belsimtek heli is at door? - Legacy_AFM_Su39.dll and Legacy_AFM_Su25.dll Why the 2 files? Is there a Su39 in preparation? EDIT: from the french wikipedia: Su-25TM / Su-39 : version modernisée du Su-25T, capable d'être utilisé sur porte-avions, et de tirer certains missiles air-mer. => Modernized version of the Su-25T, able to be used aboard a carrier and shoot certain type of air-sea missiles. Enough but 64bit OS is preferable, less issuing. What version of Windowsz are you running? (best experienced with Windows 7 - 64bits, still no official support for Win 8 and Vista is.... Vista) Check your AMD/ATI drivers. If that still goes wrong, repair you DCS installation (in your 'start' menu: Repair DCS World)

In the respect of the R.O.E; shoot the enemy ASAP, and certainly before they get the occasion to shoot you down... If R.O.E. says you need a visual identification before firing, if you can see your target on TGP, you can ID it, then shoot it.

Not OK with that. Nevada is coming with a new graphic engine and both have looooooooong dev time. But a promise is a promise. As DCS A-10c pre-purchaser, as it was announced and repeated, I expect receive Nevada terrain for free, simply because it was promised. Simple as that.

From what I've seen and read till now, I feel FC3 does not match my expectations as I'm more focusing on DCS aircraft. Anyway, I think I'll buy it to support ED in their development progress/process.

Concerning High fidelity Flight Model for the F-16, there is a project in preparation, there. By CptSmiley and the VCR Team. They accessed impressive collection of real data charts to create their EFM. So just wait. Pinnacle of simming is accessible and partly already there with DCS BS, A-10c and P-51. Other projects like DCS Mig-21bis by Beczl is incoming and as you can see in the forum, initiatives are multiplying. We just need to have patience. "A watched pot never boils" And, as this thread is about FC3, just have the expectation of what FC3 can provides you. Don't forget the differences between: - LockOn FC (1,2 & 3) integrated in DCS-World and - Appart aircraft modules for DCS-World that have improved realism and accuracy in Flight models, full 6DOF viewing, avionics, simulated hydraulics, electrics,... If you want to go deeper in realism, look for Module for DCS, like A-10c for example or another upcoming projects :smilewink:

I plan to change from my HD5870 and hesitate between: - Fast but expensive and 2Gb NVidia GTX670 - Much accessible and 3Gb but slower HD 7950 I investigated a bit and it seems that DCS-W uses up to 1900Mb VRAM with single FullHD screen (as I've seen through the forum) Any advise? :helpsmilie:

As we can see in my edited post (just now), there is comparition between Vanilla LockOn and real F-15 Perf Charts and the room between the 2 lines is very little. We can so consider the accuracy was already not bad at all! And now you say that the FM will be even more accurate.
