There is just something menacing about it combined with the whining sound it makes. like a beast barely under control of humanity. https://www.eurofighter.com/multimedia/details/bae-systems-da2-at-fi-2002-353 https://www.eurofighter.com/multimedia/details/bae-systems-test-pilot-c-penrice-taking-off-in-da2-with-afterbur-609 https://www.eurofighter.com/multimedia/details/bae-systems-test-pilot-c-penrice-taking-off-in-da2-with-afterbur-609 https://www.jetphotos.com/photo/192798 https://www.eurofighter.com/multimedia/details/eads-d-nd-bae-systems-da1-da2-da4-flying-in-formation-for-the-608

https://nara.getarchive.net/amp/media/a-33rd-tactical-fighter-wing-f-15c-eagle-aircraft-makes-its-landing-approach-052343 A 33rd fighter wing F-15c carrying a AIM-120A October 1989. The 33rd was the Unit that carried AIM-120 in the Gulf War.

They are not and don’t plan to make FC3 aircraft. However I do hope they would permit someone to do a restoration of the Mig-29k from Flanker 2.5 if the needed documentation becomes available.

Isn’t Lomac the name that Ubi owns?

Will the Eurofighter have an ir seaker like the su-27 have for example?

I think we are getting a German Eurofighter which excludes it -
Temporarily suspended due to world events. ED is unsure if they will be able to do it anytime because of this. Third parties are still free to try if you and your friends are looking for a fun hobby to do together.

J-10B, for future consideration and discussion.

so I found this https://www.sohu.com/a/425675784_120618719 https://m.bilibili.com/video/BV1Dv411z7wY Claims to be an official J-10y simulator running on DCS. Not sure if it’s just a mod to look real with a cockpit ride or if it’s based on a real sim -
I’ve got docs on the PSP processor. Maybe it’s time for a community apg-63 mod? Combined with the clickable fc3 could be the beginning of a FF F-15.

I’d love a B but I think an A is a bit more likely given the JF-17 we have is very similar in terms of avionics. It’s all a matter of what the PLAAF is comfortable with if anything. -
Yes it would a shame if they can’t given their staff. But it remains an option if they cannot
-
I suspect they already know what they’re going to do if if their wrapping up the JF-17 I figured they probably have at least planned their next move.
-
It’s 100% possible to do a Mig-29 just not for ED right now. They also mentioned it’s fine for third parties to do whatever they want, modern or old if they are able.

I can’t remember, if I did it was only a few bucks.

Oh yea, I actually own that manual too and I forgot lol.

https://web.archive.org/web/20110606144055/http://www.soton.ac.uk/~ge102/Jet.html Maybe an engine simulator like this
-
I’ve got a little bit on the Rafale’s avionics from someone who worked on it. True Grit is a company of SME so they have a lot we don’t. I am a little concerned about the Flight model though, but the benefit of the doubt is well earned.

AIM-7 left frontline service in 2003 but you still see them from time to time, especially in navy and marine use. Here is a Super Hornet in 2020 with AIM-7 and AIM-9x!
-
Sorry to pick your brain but how does the base R-27r compare to Aim-7m? They were both used in the Gulf war and Kosovo but I’ve never heard of them clashing.

-
I mean that’s true for Aim-120a as well with delivery of low rate initial production missiles from 1988 and used in the Gulf War before official IOC.

Totally understandable given current events. Are third parties still able to develop such things if they have the data and desire?
