  1. I’d like the Mig-29k from flanker 2.5 restored as an AI aircraft with a GFM
  2. There is a partially complete second one. Hopefully they finish it as a symbol of Ukraine.
  3. I know that an AI J-10 was planned for some point. If it’s still coming will it be able to use Pl-11? I understand the first batch of J-10 used this before pl-12 was operational.
  4. And all that time trying to order the pages wasted
  5. This has been circulating online for a while. I am unaware if anyone at ED does or does not have access too it. I hope it proves a useful resource. I believe most later sparrows are based on the Fs propulsion.

Gee if what I’ve been hearing as of late is true we already have the best Russian flanker. Guess we ought to wish for a J-11b instead.
  7. March 23 Pakistan day is when they are scheduled to make their public debut. I wonder if we will have any kind of announcement, whatever the actual plan is by that date.

  9. So I got the book and it real does have a lot of very good info. It’s basically 350 pages on Rafale M01 does carrier ops. Detailed write ups of take off and landing tests, how the aircraft takes stress from landings, acceleration on the catapult, how the aircraft behaves at different approach speeds, angles of attack, loads and fuel states. How the landing gear works etc. anyone who thinks of doing a Rafale will find it useful.
  10. It will be Tranche 2 but early access will be similar to Tranche 1. AESA depends on what documentation they can get though I am not super confident about getting it.
  11. http://www.artist-embedded.org/docs/Events/2007/IMA/Slides/ARTIST2_IMA_Cornilleau.pdf PowerPoint with a graphic of the F1’s various mission computers.
  12. Apparently the book ”rafale marine, essais en vol pour navaliser un chasseur” has a ton of data and energy charts from the Rafale M’s test at Lakehurst. I ordered a copy Fingers crossed! Rafale F1 has a different mission computer then the later ones with different avionics(simpler), I think used from some other aircraft, I’ll keep looking.
  13. You can get dassault to support your mod and use their trademark names, their website even used to have a section for licensed sims. The problem is they apparently charge a lot of money for this, to the tune of thousands of dollars and cease and desist those that don’t pay up or use names like “rc01” and “m2000” and then your on your own for data. I think the Rafale as a decent chance though with its recent export success. F1 standard is very simple. I have some papers on “RADANT” the basis of RBE2 PESA giving a basic idea how it works. https://www.semanticscholar.org/paper/P ... d39e38af2f https://apps.dtic.mil/sti/pdfs/ADA301940.pdf https://patents.justia.com/assignee/thomson-csf-radant https://www.sciencedirect.com/topics/en ... nned-array https://www.microwavejournal.com/articl ... ys-part-ii https://citeseerx.ist.psu.edu/viewdoc/d ... 1&type=pdf Official modes and capabilities https://omnirole-rafale.com/avionique/rbe2/
  14. According to the Indian mrca competition at 5000 ft the Eurofighter and super hornet have a similar STR It’s unclear what’s the load out or speed. but if we look at the GAO report it seems the hornet and eurofighter have similar STR https://books.google.com/books?id=XCcLAAAAIAAJ&pg=PA30&lpg=PA30&dq=F/A-18E+sustained+turn&source=bl&ots=VDPtcyELXn&sig=UJf5CawaEWf0_qeoPm5grVY5xT4&hl=en&sa=X&ved=0CDkQ6AEwBWoVChMI5OyCgpmLyQIVTzqICh1-KQ9S#v=onepage&q=F%2FA-18E sustained turn&f=true I would be cautious fighting the hornet close up like that. You will have superior thrust to weight ratio but it’s going to be dangerous.
  15. This looks so cool! @JOYFUL_CLOVR they didn’t forget you!

  17. I don’t even know how to thank you! That’s just about everything I could have wanted on the 9.15. Thank you so much. I hope anyone else interested in this aircraft comes across this
  18. Well we have, it’s not going anyplace, this was just my suggestion if they do a two seater. The USN version just has a back seat, but is otherwise the same as we have. More range and payload are desirable for a two seat strike aircraft, just like how good thrust to weight and less drag are great for our single seater. Granted though I do think the USMC D has desirable radar upgrades, I don’t know how applicable that is to other hornets.
  19. Their is a 500 page document on the PSP processor from the C/D I could send if no one has it.
  20. At 5000 feet the Eurofighter has a 16.2 degree per second turn rate vs the super hornets 15. It does not specify the load or fuel state. However compared to the GAO report we have it seems like the Eurofighter and our 402 powered legacy hornet should very similar in terms of STR. https://carnegieendowment.org/files/Decoding_Indias_MMRCA_Decision.pdf https://books.google.com/books?id=XCcLAAAAIAAJ&pg=PA30&lpg=PA30&dq=F/A-18E+sustained+turn&source=bl&ots=VDPtcyELXn&sig=UJf5CawaEWf0_qeoPm5grVY5xT4&hl=en&sa=X&ved=0CDkQ6AEwBWoVChMI5OyCgpmLyQIVTzqICh1-KQ9S#v=onepage&q=F%2FA-18E sustained turn&f=true
  21. Up to lot 30 even block II hornets had apg-73. The two seat block II lot 26 is covered in the super hornet manual. That said I think this is actually about equivalent to our 2005 version of the legacy hornet.
  22. I think their actual might be more on the early super hornet the our hornet. Their is a GAO report comparing the two and I know of a navy CDF study of the superbug. One thing that people might appreciate is it apparently has a noticeable reduction in RCS over our hornet. If someone wants to do it, I’m very confident it can be done.
  23. NATOPS FLIGHT MANUAL PERFORMANCE DATA NAVY MODEL F/A-18E/F 165533 AND UP AIRCRAFT block I and early 2 (lot 26) several other yes you might want to look up the VRS superbug its Pretty similar to our hornet avionics and system wise, it’s just more range and extra pylons are good features for a two seat strike craft while the lighter higher thrust lot 20 C we have is good for a single seat fighter.
  24. Their has been a full fidelity super hornet in fs2004 since black shark came out and I have the super hornet manual open in another tab.
