Yes, we just had this issue, and can confirm it ONLY happens with ground power.

I’m sure y’all fiddling with AP/ATC, laying tarot cards and aligning the stars would nail AAR in real (manual) mode first time if you set curves to 20 and ONLY focus on the tankers wing, that should be your ONLY reference. Disregard the basket, your brain will take care of that. 99% of the pilots change focus from the wing to the basket when they’re close (10-5 ft), and you WILL oscillate like crazy when you do.

I think it’s speed dependant, so you have the correct QNH for landing.

With launch bar extended you get that, confirm if it happens with launch bar retracted.

AAR in the hornet is super easy. If you know basic formation flying then you already have the control necessary to do AAR both in the A-10C and the Hornet. The pilots struggling with AAR should stop chasing the drogue and instead practice to stay 2-3 ft away from another aircraft in echelon formation. When you can hold your exact position, and rejoin and get saddled smoothly, then you are set for AAR.

I just watched a track for airfield, no issues at all. Must be related to carriers.

Was doing a casual flight and tested ACM modes. When i tried to reset ACM mode as i have before with undesignate, the radar started to get quirky. I couldn't get it to reset, i tried all the buttons. Then i found out that i could cycle the bars up to 256B, then it would revert back to 1B. Toggle Master Arm and A/A solved the issue. Semi related, when I toggle CRS nothing happens (except) CSEL in UFC. But nothing changes in the AMPCD. I tried inputting a course, the number flashes in UFC then disappear and nothing happens. Probably forgot something simple.

She’s accelerating nicely on take off. Something is wrong with dual mapping’s or something. Never had an issue.

You need zero stick input when activating. I just switched deadzone to 1 (as found in other threads here) and set curvature to 12. Oh my god she got smooth, and no small rolls here and there.

Modes on the DDI? Press A/P on the UFC, then select eg. ATTH.

AUTO mode is messed up without proper alignment. Yesterday my bombs ended up in a different country.

I have gotten LWD/RWD trim to work. It is really slow, but works. BUT last restart I did, I held trim LWD or RWD down for up to a minute and NOTHING happened. What’s the prequisites for trim hat to be active? Are we missing something?

No, only A/G is released with WEAPON RELEASE. A/A (including guns) is Weapon TRIGGER.

I've been told 127.500 from someone that knows, but it was a no go for me yesterday. But, for carrier ops you don't actually need any comms. When you see the launch bar click into the launch catapult, press U. Wait for the blast door, when you go full burner you get launched.

We had some issues with the KC-135BDA tanker, is it that station you are trying to call? We switched to the KC-130 and it worked as intended. However, a few times we had to put in the freq between 2-5 times before it got stuck. When this happens it reverts back to 305.000 (default?). Try again a few times and it suddenly stick with it. Same on both radios.
