  1. all that stuff should be already there under supercarrier props iirc
  2. i am having a similar problem with the Flare Salvo Switch if operated via joystick button. It will stick and once i am back on the ground and rearm, i will drop all flares within 1 second as soon as i get the rearming finished message. (it doesnt ripple anymore, just drops all flares at once) but if i operate it by mouse it will only drop 1 flare with each press, and doesnt ripple while holding.
  3. ok can now confirm from NATOPS, somehow my 2011 version has stripped everything behind 23-5 but its present in my 2008 version.
  4. i have tried this and can confirm that something seems to be wrong with how the system calculates the TOO time. As if it forgets to convert Indicated Air Speed into Ground Speed. Starting with a very low speed/number that is going to increase exponentially as you get closer to the TOT
  5. i have tried to look for this text in the NFM-000 but i cant find any of that.
  6. i am not 100% sure but maybe wp0 should be the homeplate and wp1 take off from ground?
  7. that is correct behavior. the TOO button creates a Targetpoint at the aircraft position and is used to mark targets you did not expect but see while overflying them. what you are looking for is MK on the EHSD what will create a Markpoint at the current aircraft‘s designation. To accept a Mark- Way- or Targetpoint as a Target for CAS page and JDAM delivery you need the SDAT page that is not available yet.
  8. next time i am in the cockpit i will
  9. last time i tried this it worked
  10. landed with 900 pounds of fuel
  11. yes what you are saying is absolutely right, if we consiser your test and the chart used different speeds. but the idea of this chart is to have a common ground (300 kcas) if we climb longer the angle will have to be more narrow, and as such we will cover more distance if the climb is faster the angle is higher and we cover less ground. climbing slower without changing your airspeed is not gonna reduce distance covered. well maybe if you factor in windspeed
  12. They have removed the older LAU-3 and LAU-68 FFAR (7 or 19 rockets pods with or without front cover) The newer LAU-68 FFAR Hydra pods with 7 rockets are available.
  13. if i am looking at real life pictures and videos from the av-8b harrier i am pretty sure thats actually using LED Matrix Displays Something like this should work for one of the two digit displays you have in the UFC for Radiochannels: Adafruit LED Charlieplexed Matrix - 9x16 LEDs - Warm White 3162 But thats 18 pins for one display, and you will still have to design a pcb around it. There is stuff out there that already comes with a ready to use I2C or SPI PCB, but then you will have to get bigger displays, then what you would actually need, as i didnt find any x9 displays yet. edit: for the Adafruit 9x16 led matrix there is a pcb that gives it full i2c functionallity: Adafruit 16x9 Charlieplexed PWM LED Matrix driver - IS31FL3731 will come all in ~20$ for one display edit: scratch that, this displays is _way_ too big
  14. the nfm-400 charts for our -408 engine are actually even further away from lab conditions as you might think. because they are _E S T I M A T E D_ this doesnt make any sense, if the climb would take longer we would also cover more ground. so if the time would get closer to the NFM-400 the distance covered would get further away. so either someone guesstimated those numbers in the NFM400 very terribly, or we just defeated physics...
  15. i did land the harrier no problems in NTTR in hot weather, creech AFB (pretty hight altitude), 2 x 9 m, 2 x empty bag, ~2.000 pounds of fuel. It did take ~114% RPM wet but i could hold her pretty stable before finishing my transition from brake stop to RVL with ~84° nozzles. maybe you had some overspeed/overtemp/dmg problems with your engine during your flight.
  16. nozzles fully aft?
  17. because it was giving graphical bugs for VR and TrackIR users at night. (green corners even without visor down)
  18. visor has been removed on purpose
  19. they will eventually, but one keybind isnt going to be priority
  20. i am supporting this request fully. tankers integration would be lovely too
  21. yeah flaps test at high alt is very important after any dmg indication or your up for a hard spin
  22. yes its extremely easy so you could do it yourself in dcs folder - mods - av8b - input - joystick - default.lua
