yes what you are saying is absolutely right, if we consiser your test and the chart used different speeds. but the idea of this chart is to have a common ground (300 kcas) if we climb longer the angle will have to be more narrow, and as such we will cover more distance if the climb is faster the angle is higher and we cover less ground. climbing slower without changing your airspeed is not gonna reduce distance covered. well maybe if you factor in windspeed

They have removed the older LAU-3 and LAU-68 FFAR (7 or 19 rockets pods with or without front cover) The newer LAU-68 FFAR Hydra pods with 7 rockets are available.

if i am looking at real life pictures and videos from the av-8b harrier i am pretty sure thats actually using LED Matrix Displays Something like this should work for one of the two digit displays you have in the UFC for Radiochannels: Adafruit LED Charlieplexed Matrix - 9x16 LEDs - Warm White 3162 But thats 18 pins for one display, and you will still have to design a pcb around it. There is stuff out there that already comes with a ready to use I2C or SPI PCB, but then you will have to get bigger displays, then what you would actually need, as i didnt find any x9 displays yet. edit: for the Adafruit 9x16 led matrix there is a pcb that gives it full i2c functionallity: Adafruit 16x9 Charlieplexed PWM LED Matrix driver - IS31FL3731 will come all in ~20$ for one display edit: scratch that, this displays is _way_ too big

the nfm-400 charts for our -408 engine are actually even further away from lab conditions as you might think. because they are _E S T I M A T E D_ this doesnt make any sense, if the climb would take longer we would also cover more ground. so if the time would get closer to the NFM-400 the distance covered would get further away. so either someone guesstimated those numbers in the NFM400 very terribly, or we just defeated physics...

Harrier Cold Start Broken since March 5 update
Wisky replied to Amahvan's topic in Problems and Bugs
having the same problem with X52 also sometimes my controlstick is full left, until i just give it a very tiny input on the x axis and it will go back to center position. -
i dont believe a campaign can be bugged in not letting you cold start the jet. maybe you just forgot to activate the fuel shutoff lever or the jet was on 0lbs of fuel?

there is a few letters and numbers that will give a faulty sketch: i dont remember all of them but it was Q, 0(read Zero), 2, 4, 6 also i was having problems with extruding C, I, N, V (had to close some curves manually)

sounds like you are still too far away from the target. try pressing your NWS button when your in IRMAV mode to change Field of View, and dont depress the TDC to aquire a target lock until your not further away than ~5 nm the Mav in real life still has problems to lock until your only about 1-2 nm away from your target

[REPORTED] EHSD symbology displayed on second MFD
Wisky replied to Aernov's topic in Problems and Bugs
this has already been reported in the past. it only happens if you have your EHSD in the right MFD instead of the left. -
i observed this behaviour too. not urgent but nice fix to have

so RAZBAM said on discord today that turn rate for the Harrier will increase with next patch. Also engine thrust will decrease by ~10% at low altitude and ~50% at high altitude, to get closer to performance charts

its moving up -> the direction your plane is flying right now left -> from that direction 90° to the left right -> from the direction your plane is flying 90° to the right aft -> the way your plane is coming from it should slew N,W,E,S, but apparently there is something not yet working correctly. its known and they are working on a fix.

the thing with the LST is that you need to change the laser code prior to switching it on or right after you done it. Example 1: you take off and switch to your personal laser code 1678 and activate LST, LST will track for 1678 Example 2: you take off, switch to LST, type in your personal laser code 1678, LST will track 1678 Example 3: during mission your buddy wants to lase for you, and asks you to switch to new Lasercode you switch your lasercode to 1688, but your LST will still track for 1678. What you need to do is: - use the DMT switch in your Center Panel behind the Joystick, turn DMT/LST OFF - Change Lasercode to 1688 - set DMT switch back to ON - now LST should track the new Lasercode 1688

No thats not supposed to happen in any case. You could do nothing wrong to make this happen out of your own free will. Looks like a damaged .lua file. Run a repair, if that doesnt help i would commend a new install of DCS

Also make sure if you have a Interval set that you hold the pickle button long enough or not all bombs will come of the rails.
