  1. Flying buddy and I have had the same problem. We were flying a mission in the Normandy 2 map at Saint Pierre Du Mont. In P-47s, the repair drops us onto the surface damaging the gear. Using Spitfires in the same mission the repair works as normal and sets us down gently. This is consistent both in multi-player and single player. server-20230626-123727.trk
  2. I found this review helpful.
  3. I use a wireless left thumb trackball in VR. Makes it easy to manipulate the switches without having to take my hand off the stick.
  4. We are using cold starts and have waited extra time to make sure the INU is at .0012 accuracy before lifting (this worked in SP). We have also tried resetting the INU. No difference in either case when flying MP.
  5. I have not been able to get any reliability with the Lima Hellfires when I act as CP/G with a friend flying the same Apache. The Lima's either impact off target by about 200 feet or hit a different target than the one designated. We have ensured the INU is below .0012 accuracy, both LOBAL and LOAL, and IAT on/off without success. I have tried the Lima's in SP and they never miss, so I appear to be doing the launch procedures correctly. At one point I even had eight in the air at once in SP and all hit. Attached is at track file. Airfield Assault-20230519-170110.trk
  6. Going to have to check this out! https://palmspringsairmuseum.org/programs/open-cockpit-saturdays-p-47-thunderbolt-5/
  7. Probably had volume turned down. Works fine now. Thanks again for a great campaign.
  8. On mission 12 there was no "Ride of the Valkyries" music. All other sounds were normal. I had music in the other missions including the Outro. Which audio setting in the main menu controls that music? The campaign was fantastic! I thank Reflected Simulations for all the hard work and have recommended this campaign to my friends.
  9. Thanks, that did the trick!
  10. When flying the Huey since the latest patch, the controls input and gunner ROE overlays default to on. I have unchecked the overlays in the menu with no change and have to turn them off at the start of every mission. I fly VR and have the ROE bound to HOTAS, but it is an annoyance having to use the keyboard to turn off the controls overlay. Anyone else have this issue?
  11. It is like buying a lottery ticket and then fantasizing about how you would spend the winnings.
  12. I see. Thanks for the clarification. Wasn't rushing you and thanks again for all you have done for the DCS community.
  13. Thank you so much for your efforts!!!! Does the new version include the new re-projection that has been in testing?
  14. Took me some trial and error, but I got MR working now. After today's patch, what I do now is make sure OXRTK has both DCS and Opencomposite checked. I then start "Mixed Reality Portal" (Not the STEAM version), Voice attack/Vaicom, then DCS (without the --force_enable_VR --force_OpenXR) . Now re-projection works as it did before.
  15. Same here. Re-projection still broken.
  16. I routinely visit the last original, flying, A6M5b at the Chino Planes of Fame museum. I have seen it fly many times. The info is out there.
  17. SoH are you still using OXRTK reprojection for game play? I too could not believe the smoothness flying the Mariana's in a UH-1 with it on. If they could get the reprojection anomalies reduced just a little bit more it would be perfect.
  18. To be clear, if you have two wheels braking and one locks, then the locked wheel produces less friction (stopping ability) that the turning wheel with braking pressure applied. The vehicle will yaw in the direction of the braking wheel that is still turning. This is the basic physics behind anti-skid brakes.
  19. With the F-18, A-10, and F-16, I use TX1 for Comm 1 and TX2 for Comm 2. With the F-14 I also use TX5 for crew chief Comms. Have not messed with Apache comms using Vaicom since it is broken. With the F-18 it is nice that with one hat press I talk to AWACS/Tankers and the other hat press I talk to ATC or flight.
  20. Support for the A-4E and Apache.
  21. Gang, don't delete your Vaicom just yet. There is a fix that is being worked on in the Discord Vaicom community. They have got Vaicom working correctly again and are putting together a zipped file and install directions. It has been tested and everything seems to work. Should be out in a day or two.

  23. Found someone else on Discord that has the same problem since the 2.8 update. Friend and I pair up in the f-14 and comms, outside of ground crew, stops responding. We each get the comms menu and hear our transmission, but no reply from ATC, AWACS, tankers, etc. Single occupant the comms work. We triple checked all comm bindings and frequencies.
  24. I am currently learning this RIO beast in VR. I found a cockpit labels mod so that I can read the different panels during cockpit familiarization. I use Chuck's guide (of course), YouTubes, and kneeboards. Wish there were more kneeboards for RIO basics outside of startup. The learning curve is steep, but flying the f-14 as two player is a lot of fun and teamwork really pays off.
  25. You might get more use out of the mode switch using it as a modifier in DCS. I use the single mode programming, but use the mode "2" as a modifier in DCS. With it set as a modifier I can fly the Apache from the front seat if needed. As a CPG my axis normally controls the TADS. I switch mode to "2" then flip a switch to extend controls/request flight control and I am off flying from the front seat. As modifiers within DCS you can change all the buttons and axis instead of just the six buttons on the CM3. Hope this helps
