  1. Looks like Iron Mike is hot on this bugs tail, nothing concrete yet but it could be something in one of the games .dll files as I have suspected from the very beginning.
  2. This is great to hear that you can finally reproduce it, please keep us updated as much as possible. At this point this bug has been a pain in our back side for several months at least now. Its been pretty clear from the start that it was a issue with the game code, trying to find it without any dump/crash files makes it very difficult. Great job
  3. Yep just freezed again on 2.8 for the first time 20nm out from landing at the carrier. I seriously cannot believe they cannot nail down this bug after this long, but at this point, it cant get any worse dcs.log
  4. Yes harrier fuel dump and firing S8TSM rockets currently crashes servers.
  5. Had it again but this time in the Hornet. Im not convinced this is even tomcat related, and no AI tomcats were trying to land at the time. ED needs to get in here and diagnose this, not Heatblur. .Log attached even though it tells us nothing. dcs.log
  6. I am aware that 3rd party projects have no bearing on your work. However, for many years now the core mechanics and and gameplay have not changed much and it always seems like we are told to not ask about it or to be patient. I cant tell you how many bugs I have seen in the game that still arent fixed that are several months if not years old now.
  7. This. Please work on the core game. It definitely evident that most of ED's resources are being put towards something else rather then working on core game stuff.
  8. Can confirm the freezing issue still isnt fixed in multiplayer after the latest patch.
  9. Just had it happen to me again after a week or two of no freezing, and just when I thought this update fixed the issue. Unbelievable that this crap still isnt fixed.

  12. Even just testing it today for a few minutes on a TGP, its amazing how much smoother and nicer it is. I dident even know what I was missing. Great job reverse engineering that firmware DeltaSim!!

  15. Works fine for me and many others, are you installing in the main game folder (NOT the saved games folder!). And I agree with everything you just said about ED

Yes. currently the AI do not care what setting the target size switch is set to in the F14, they immediately go defensive when they detect a missile 10nm from them, not when the missile goes active because its a ED problem.   17. Please make a rapid hotfix for this. It is destroying every single multiplayer servers FPS greatly currently.

  19. Awesome patch Mike, very glad to see a potential fix for the freezing issue involving the F14 AI. Also great to have a reason to use the 54C and MK47 now. I just hope the tws guidance on the A is very gradual and dosent do any jerks that massively bleed off energy, but what it looks like from the graph that shouldn't be the case hopefully. Also looks like the MK47 has a slightly better range then the MK60 now, at the cost of slower acceleration and reduced close range performance compared to the MK60. Will be very nice to be able to use the 54C and let it go active by itself in tws now. Great to see all of the new skins fixed as well. Thanks for your work and cant wait to try it out!

  21. I would really love the Salute animation for launching off the carrier be put in the game for the hornet just like how it is for the tomcat. We know the hornet already has a salute animation of some sort already in game, because we have seen several promo videos from ED on youtube showing the hornet piloting saluting and shooting off the cat. I personally love seeing the pilot salute from F2 view and the mirror reflections on the tomcat, it really adds more depth of immersion to the sim. Thanks!
  22. Honestly at this point I'm pretty fed up with this, with the freezing/lockup issue here makes me not even want to play DCS at this point. What is even the point of wasting my time starting up the jet, launching, only to freeze halfway to the AO 25-50% of the time. Honestly ED you need to prioritize working on your game engine and that is literally held together with popsicle sticks and gum from the early 2000's and also prioritize working on fixing bugs and core game mechanics rather then just releasing a new module every year that we dont need. (end of rant)
