Mike was saying earlier today that something got botched during the upload, and the new liveries did not get fixed this update so it will be in the next one.

Mike, Do we have any updates on this? I think many people are curious what's going on. Its really been annoying me in the F14 lately.

Attached is two trackfiles showing a issue involving the Catapult Directors on the SC giving the F14A only, the wrong Gestures to hook up to the cat. The F14B does not have this issue and shows the correct Gestures to get hooked up to the cat. In the F14A, Cat Director will first not tell you to unfold/unsweep your wings, while in the F14B the director does direct you to unfold/unsweep your wings. Second, Just before salute/launch, in the F14A the director will tell you to extend your nose struct, which you obviously do not do in the F14, only the hornet. Obviously the gestures of the Director for the F14A should exactly match those of the F14B. Thanks you hope to see this reported and fixed in the future. Hey can someone review and report this, Its very annoying when your following the ball in the groove and it disappears and screws you up

Yep, turn on downlock override, toggle the landing gear and do tomcat pushups

Happens to me as well, non vr user here. Sometimes coming out of afterburner in the F14A causes the issue as OP describes. It does come back on its own though by playing with the throttle.

Nope its not you. Its been a bug for years and keeps getting blown off.

Still awaiting for a response from Heatblur on this.

Ok so I managed to get some time to get track files of this issue. I have 4 trackfiles attached in a single player session on a carrier. What I have found is this: in the first track "Both F14's" if a player or ai F14 is hooked up to the cat first, the second F14 (in this case, the me) will be unable to hook up to the cat until the first F14 launches. In the second track "Both FA-18's Catapult launch" if the first FA-18 player/ai is hooked up to the cat first, the second FA-18 (me) can hook up at the same time like it should be with no issue. In "F14 AI and FA18 Player Launch" if the first to hook up to the cat is a F14 and the second is a FA18 (me), I can hook up no issue. In the fourth track "F14 Player and FA18 AI Catapult Launch" if the first to hook up is a FA18, the second F14 (me) cannot hook up until he launches. Another issue I have found is it appears the catapult crew sees the F14A as a FA18 as they do the gesture to retract the launch bar just before launch which you do not do in the F14 (the F14B does not have this issue with the catapult crew). Still a issue as of today. Had it happen again. @IronMikecan you please look at those track files.

Bump. Anyone at heatblur know if this is a tomcat problem or ugra problem? Seems like a tomcat problem as it only affects lgbs from the tomcat

This has been a issue for a while now. Your not alone in experiencing this. Unfourantely nobody at heatblur seems to know why its happening.

I would love to trial it as well. For the most part the thing holding me back from a purchase is a lack of any good servers for the map because it is so new

Honestly this patch I am quite happy with the performance and flight model on the AIM-54. I think its finally pretty well dialed in. I would like to see accurate modeling for the 54C though, the AIM-54 MK60 is superior to the 54C in DC's in pretty much everyway, even though in real life that really wasn't the case. It was also rumored it be able to go active on its own without the need for the AWG-9 to tell it to. The new loft curve works quite well, thank you very much for your teams hard work on it!

Yep, encountering this almost daily now and am really getting tired of it. Usually happens in the F14 30-50nm out from the carrier after launch or coming in for a landing.

Yep having this issue as well sometimes after the most recent update. It seems to happen when your in the groove and are slightly off center the IFLOS Overlay disappears.

Would love to know this also. Seems like a 50/50% chance of even making it back to the carriers now a days without locking up.
