  1. Same here. 5 mig-21 in ramp at Groom Lake. FPS drops to 5-7. FPS at their normal values (60 locked) when distance augment to +100 meters (maybe middle distance LOD?)
  2. Thanks for the confirmation Derelor. Reading about it, this system is quite standard for the ARK- series. The only differences are the change from manual tune of the ARK-5 to the "preset" system of the ARK-10, -15 and -22 and the increased number of "bands" in the ARK-10 and ARK-15. But it´s the same principle, for example the ARK-10 works with the "inner"-"pushbuttons" and the "outer"-"bands", so the pilot only have to change the selector "inner-outer" to the desired position. According to the real manual, pilots set the desired outer (landing airport, selector) and inner (take off airport, pushbuttons) and only have to change the "inner-outer" selector On a side note, maybe the Senaki outer it´s a bug because its frequency is outside the frequency range of the NDB stations (150-1300) Thanks!
  3. I think that the bug is still present in the Update1 (19/12) of the DCSW 2.0 Alpha. Can anyone confirm this? Thanks. Mike
  4. The "vor bug" has been solved in the 1.5.2 Until we get a 2.0.x update, the VOR bug is still present in the 2.0 @Cibit, the Loc part of the CDI is linked to the nav system, VOR and ILS-loc shares frequencies. So the CDI works with the Nav system (VOR and ILS) and for the homing features of the radios. Sorry for my english
  5. The CDI?
  6. No problem here with a Humvee with advanced WP orders to transmit.
  7. No. It's a "common facility" that houses both systems. VOR frequencies range: 108-117 .95MHz, Civilian Tacan frequencies range: 960-1215 MHz, Military only, greater accuracy, greater "confusion cone or death signal zone"
  8. Yes. In Nevada you´ve got VORTAC and VOR.
  9. 1170 and similars are the equivalent frequencies of the TACAN signals. TACAN signals work in the 960-1215mhz. Example: 1170 is the frequency of the TACAN 93X It´s a bug that shows the TACAN (93X) and the TACAN frequency (1170) but not the VOR frequency (116.9) in the VORTACs of the F10 map
  10. Same here.. Edit: Thanks zebra.
  11. i think it´s like the AJ like say but without the capability to update the position via radar or visual fix. For a quick trip around the map, set azimuth and distance with the RSBN box switches to the Hoover Dam from Creech AFB for example; near the dam set the distance and azimuth to Groom Lake and over GL set the values to Creech AFB. You can use the NDB signal to triangulate your position like an aid. Sorry for my english.
  12. Gospadin , have you tried the Huey? I think the "VOR reversed LOS" bug is still present. VORTAC and TACAN work perfect.
  13. There aren´t any RSBN in Nevada and only one NDB so you must use the RSBN in "manual mode" to do 'dead reckoning' navigation.
  14. No problem here. Work as indeed.
  15. You can use the RSBN in "manual mode" using the distance and heading selectors of the REBN system. I have no problems flying in the NTTR map with the L-39
  16. It´s a bug. Only the outboard or inboard (more rare) pylons are able to carry the APU-60-2 as you say.
  17. The L-39 uses the same "standard system". So maybe now it´s different. Tested. You are right.
  18. I don´t try it in the last versions. Maybe now it´s different. But the file definition and progamming makes reference to an "object" and check if the "object is alive". Sorry for my english.
  19. @speedstick. Yes, unfortunately it isn't a real representación of the ARC-10 and RSBN systems. They do it to allow better gameplay and an over modeled navigation capabilities in an approximately 600% (from the real 17 ndb to 72 stations and from 40 to 99 Rsbn stations). It's a legacy from the former mig-21 mod developed for the FC2 @Dahlbeck. The ED approach depicts an accurate system for ARK and RSBN from the BS1 onwards, with associated models (if you destroy a station you lost the signal for example) and in the RSBN part allows you to fly "a manual RSBN course" using the not modeled in the 21 switches for set course and distance in a zone without RSBN coverage. The PRMG systems is linked with the ATC system so it switches to the active runway as the ndb approach beacons do aswell. I hope this "Arcadish" implementation will be switch to a more accurate representation, or at least the option to have a real navigation in the options table (server side) in a middle or long term. With the 39 you can fly without problems over the NTTR using the "RSBN manual mode" and the ndb. You don't need a RSBN station. Regards.
  20. The keys for the LNS-21 are now stowed in the ED subfolder like all the other modules. A first step for a proper integration of the protection system.
  21. If the LNS-21 had a real RSBN system like the 39 has, we don´t need to worry about that. I have concerns about how the ED and BST modules (or any other 3er party developer that uses the standard files) could navigate in the future LNS maps with this kind of "lua navigations". Maybe for next modules, LNS will switch to the ED standard type of files and programming regarding navigation aids. With the current implementation (a stationary xyz point in the space) it´s impossible to create a navaid for a moving carrier for example. Regards.
  22. A little mod that assign the liveries to their countries. Example: in the description.lua of ...\CoreMods\aircraft\MiG-21BIS\Liveries\MiG-21Bis\Bulgaria at the end, add the line: countries = {"BGR"}
  23. For our squad, we´ve a mod with all the mission tuned to be as real (with the great limitations that the LN-21bis has regarding to systems especially) as possible. With EWR, proper SAM configurations (SA-10 with search radars and not with EWR radars for example) , F-4&F-5 as the main adversary planes with some F-15 with -7& -9, tuned training & single missions, R_NAV file acording to the limitations that the 21 had and with standard NDB morse codes for the Caucasus. But is very time consuming.
  24. It´s from ED. I think it´s an alpha attempt to improve CA in the AAA/SAM part. Reminds me the ancient times of the 286 CPU...
  25. I´ve tried the one provided in the zip but it doesn´t work for the Hip. RicardoHD and Horse of War for the KA-50 and A-10C work perfect with the attached lua with a pair of tweaks in the name of the files. Regards.
