Force feedback Joystick from Moza
VR Flight Guy in PJ Pants replied to Thunderchief2000's topic in Input Devices
May be, but it is good enough to me. I don't own a real F-16 to prove it, at the same time, I don't have to shell that amount of money for commercial FFSB base, or risk any wrist damage using one on regular basis. Quoting IFE, we are flying simulations after all. -

Originally, the TPR leant on the computer table, but now I have it away, and find there is nothing to support it any more. I don't want to drill it too hard into the carpet floor in case I want to move it in the future. Any idea?

Moza AB9 - A few questions…..
VR Flight Guy in PJ Pants replied to bilbosmeggins's topic in Input Devices
It is suggested that the base should be connected to the PC directly. I use this approach with all FFB bases. -

Oh, I can only find AIM-120... let me check again. Reinstall, clear the shaders, and I still only find AIM-120... Also, the "SAAB DLP" shows nothing on the hardpoint and the symbol slot.

Force feedback Joystick from Moza
VR Flight Guy in PJ Pants replied to Thunderchief2000's topic in Input Devices
My point is, it really down to the settings made on the base software. I only come across Moza and VPRhino software. and my very limited knowledge in IRL aircraft, the user holds the key of to how much the feedback one gets out of the base. My usual examples are, if they are not too old already: F-16 preset on Moza is basically simulating MFSSB, but on VPForce, last time I checked, is no different from other jet; Presets on both bases for F/A-18C do not have any strong breakout force implemented for now, the user can add it oneself. Hope it clears things a bit. -
