So, how does the Steam Station work then? I am wary about that, too spoiled by headsets with built-in tracking may be.

Wow! Great to know! Export it and dump it back with the profile. Thank you very much.

Sure, this is with another program, and if my understanding is correct, the settings on this one do not go with configuration of each plane, unfortunately. Anything done here carries forward to every single thing you fly in DCS/MSFS, etc. This is mine after following a fellow YouTuber flying a lot of helicopters. If let me know how this could be done for each plane profile. Thanks.

Well, from the little I read here, this is exactly the bone of contention. I used to hate SteamVR a lot and I find it better now, but not tried it with DCS World, and other flight sim to be clear.

Cannot find this curve in VPForce application

All of the above listed does have corresponding settings in the software but what values should they have are up to the user, with respect to realism. I have no way to know either as I have never flew anything of DCS counterpart IRL, so I rely solely on the profile settings provided. Well, I would say F-14 is also an amazing/daunting plane to experience FFB in. For curiosity, here are some settings provided: null

The requirement, price aside, of external station puts me off. OpenXR running on SteamVR is not that bad these days, I run a racing sim on this platform and it works fine so far.

They did not even used the Viggen grip BTW, not forgiven! -

Just a harsh reminder most new cars these days have no actual force feedback... Okay, back to topic. I find some how the current version has profiles Adaptive Centering Adaptation turned on by default, of which the stick always tries to return to center makes life very awkward. Turning it off is very much recommenced. -
Quest Pro eye tracking issues
VR Flight Guy in PJ Pants replied to Qcumber's topic in Virtual Reality
Where can I get Fit Adjustment enabled again? I lose eye tracking and all attempts of recalibration fails and it tells me the calibration fails. -
I am not sure about FBW aircraft, but older aircraft which the controls connected more directly to the control surfaces would theoretically feel like what @propeler described above. One thing to note, some time, it is more about the software which controls the feedback to the base than the physical gears and motors. Yes, bases have different force output, but how they react to the state the aircraft depending on the settings which, in turn, could be tuned to your liking. If one thinks the F-16C behaviour is too boring and stiff (as per in Moza AB9), one can always change the way the base behave, say, more feedback when the weapon is fired, feeling more the pressure of control surfaces, or even make the stick movements as per in other "normal" planes (as per in Rhino).

Since there is not still no patch, anyone has the enterprising mindset could hunt it out...

Clear and Repair for the time being, no rush for me.

I tried the newer TM Viper throttle but it broke in a very specular fashion, featuring FedEx. So I settle for a WinWing. I would say STECS works with any jet with two engines, some time with chopter too. Sorry very OT.
