  3. Hi team, I have a frustrating issue with DCS , Pimax Crystal and Dynamic Foveated Rendering / Quadviews & Eye tracking. My problems started after a recent patch after which I noticed that Quadviews/Eyetracking wasnt working anymore. Everything was rendered and performance was low. I had the typical setup: Pimax XR , OpenXR tools ( disabled) , Quad Views and Quad View Companion. After watching a video about how Quadviews are now native in the Pimax Play app (PP) I switched to the Pimax OpenXR playtime via PP and used the integrated DFR - While it worked , the quality was really not what I was looking for ( rendered area too small, outside area to low resolution being very distracting) THIS is where my problems started - I wanted to get back to the initial setup PXR,QV,QVC. Following problems: Sometimes eye tracking works, sometimes it doesnt. I cannot consitently properly recreate the steps to make it work - one consistent thing is that the Calibration via PP doesnt work ( it takes me through the circles, but it can save / identify my pupils) The frustrating thing is - it sees my pupils due to IDP settings, and it works...randomly after clicking around like the primate that I am and somehow it works (combinations of turning everything off, restarting PP, etc.) The layers are checked and are in the right order with the Layer tool. I've deleted the PIMAX folder in local/appdata without it working. What am I missing? I think somehwere there's a config that has some sort of false ID and doenst start up the right software.... Is there a log I can post or anything I can share with you that could solve this and make me have dynamic eytracking and foveated rendering ?!

Have you thought about revisiting some of your older ships , specifically the USS America ? Just seeing the deck IRL and then in game..theres a big difference :

  15. Well- it gets detected, then installed as a com4 serial usb device. but then it doesn’t get identified by SSA properly or it immediately goes from ok (green) to not connected.
  16. @Bazz_Mulder reinstalled the SSA /SSB software, but that didnt really help. I believe its some sort of integration of software with Windows, and potentiall how the ports/devices are allowed to communicate with software? As before posted - I had everything working with Windows10. after an Update to Windows 11 the HF8 is not properly recognized anymore. Now I've got to the point that it is "seen" by windows as a "COM4 Serial USB device", first time pluggin in it is also installed as a "FORCE FEEL PAD" and it also gets a green "OK" status in SSA when I unplug and replug it in - so it is "seen" by the software on the port; but it seems like SSA cannot communicate with the pad and it basically disconnects immediately. ( it's plugged into the PC direct, not via HUB. I believe there must be an update on how the USB/COM ports communicate with the software, maybe its a "service" issue or a stupid checkmark that has to be set somewhere and I dont know where / how. @=Andre= @f4l0 Does anyone have an idea where / how to potentially sanitize Windows and reset this? Is there setting that allows SSA to communicate with the pads? Should the pad show up as a "Serial USB Device Com" device, or as a USB controller? and yes. its a HF8 pad, how would this work for a realtus FFpad?

  18. Done, all the same settings I had before. FF , USB , Dual output. wondering if there’s any driver that changed or if I need to install anything on top? Maybe revert back to stable software ? ( win10 used beta no Problem) installed SSB beta and SSA beta,gametrix eng and Russian any other settings that might prevent the pad from being seen? I’ve tried both blinking and solid led modes. The pad is being “seen” by windows as a “USB device” but nothing else the SSA notices “something” plugged in - and then tells me to restart the handler or unplug and replug the SSA im kind of lost where to look ?

  21. Has anybody gone back and forth between OPEN XR and STEAM VR with the 6900 and notice a difference in performance coming back up with Steam VR ?
  22. @=Andre=- please don’t ever let go of the Realtus support. My HF8 pad works perfectly with your software ! Sometime I get weird NET errors , and the other day my software lost its activation key and it returned to a “free version” status. But apart from that I’m super happy!

  24. This might also explain why you can easily rip off wings with ZUNIs but not other loadouts it seems ?
