    MH-47G

Would be fantastic. But highly unlikely. Fat body tank, refuel probe, extra rear M240, better defensive suit. We might get some modders to add some "attachments" to fake a MH47 in the future.
  2. Thanks for the view of the PCB. You didnt take any pictures of the bottom side of the DDI PCB's? Mostly curious about the USB-C Socket and the controller. Standard rubber dome "switches". Nothing capacitive. When you press down the dome, a conductive film on the dome will connect the two exposed ENIG plated rings. Not the best tactile feeling, but other than that, the MIP and DDI's are rather great. Can't complain.
  3. Or simply hide the whole left / right arm whenever you get close to those sidepanels with the mouse cursor.
  4. Amazing video. Was a pleasure to watch it yesterday. Who is the developer of the CH-47? ED Project?
  5. The DTC started with the Hornet back in 2019. Now its not even mentioned in the changelog and this topic got the tag "later in project"... Great.
  6. Your HOTAS is good enough for anything in DCS. But the Thrustmaster Warthog Stick (or rather the gimbal) has a tendency to be "sticky" on small movements. Multiple solution: Add an extension, regreasing the gimbal, or switch the base to a Virpil one. I would go for the extension first, since it has the biggest impact. Regreasing is a good option, if you had the stick for a long time and suspect it to be dirty (dust, debris etc). Virpil bases are great and work plug and play. I went for the extension & virpil base. Did it help with AAR? Maybe a little. What does help with AAR? Proficiency with formation flying, dooing AAR a lot for short time ( 5min on every flight and then move on) and not get frustrated by this task. If the tanker is still flying after your unsuccessfull tries, than its a good start ;-).
  7. I think it would be good if those USB Micro Ports would be glued with epoxy before shipping out. Micro USB is a terrible connector and those Arduino clones are not the best build out there... This would save Miles so much customer support time and replacement parts. Hopefully with a V3 there will be a custom Arduino Board by PointCtrl with a USB-C(Power) and Wireless (BT). I'm surprised mine in a V1 Point Ctrl is still attached.
  8. I never heard of anybody using them in any productive way. Don't waste your money. Look for other solutions (PointCtrl, Leap Motion, or other DIY projects). Don't really know why they are still in the option menu in DCS.
  9. So the number of happy Pico 4 users is growing? @VR Flight Guy in PJ Pants, is your Video in the Hornet at night shot while using the Pico 4? Thanks
  10. Hey Bearskin Thanks for the Feedback. When you talk about the Rift, are you referencing Rift CV1 or Rift-S? Because the difference is quite large :). But it doesnt sound too bad. And there is 30 days return on Amazon (even for me here in Switzerland), so I might give it a go. Thanks
  11. Thanks. Coming from a CV1, Rift-S the G2 was a letdown when I received the device after preordering it. Still have it, but not using it much (With the Rift-S I was 100% in VR). Stuff that I hate about the G2, tiny sweetspot, anoying cable, check cable errors (V2 Cable), WMR (Which is solved by OpenXR obviously). I feel like warping is also in the Reverb G2 noticable. I have the counterweights, VR Cover Interface, Frankenstein FOV Mod and all the other "QOL-Mods" which didnt help much. Just looking for an alternative without spending more than 1000$.
  12. Anybody here got the Pico 4? Lot of coverage about other titles, but not much for DCS. Especially the topic of "Usability" is never covered. Thanks
  13. Update VIACOM -> Link And your setup should be futureproof again.
  14. Did you install the new community fixed version or are you still on VAICOM Pro (last payware version)? Your problem sounds like the later one. Check the top post in this forum section and get the latest version. Check VAICOM Discord for some additional problem solving while Updating. Downgrading to a previous version is possible. Easiest version is just use Skazillas Updater GUI, you just need the last version number and you good to go.
  15. Thanks. Did a some traps yesterday. While I've a tendency to overshoot a tiny bit, most of my approaches were pretty solid. (Checked on the approach export). Still, on 90% of the time, the IFLOLS on the ship (+Overlay) just shut off and reappears when you are in close.
  16. Yes. They used to run. Any way to get them out of lazy mode? Lot of jitter yesterday on Cat1
  17. AFAIK not. Was a great utility. There is a new tool which is still developed-> OpenKneeboard Already usable, running with OpenXR and needs less configuring than VRK did.
  18. Yep. One of those bugsfixes (together with this)I hoped would come with 2.8. Well, maybe it gets fixed with the next hotfix.
  19. Same here. I'm really curious where this "to load batteries" thing comes from... Maybe a texture from a NVG Battery Pack ?!
  20. Thanks, but not importand. Get it up and running I simply think its more practical to run one big screen for the export than 3 single. Less Cables, less configuring and I still able to export the IFEI/RWR etc For the cable, there are multiple solutions to get it mounted on a monitor. A 90 degree USB Ribbon Connector would be a very neat solution which won't add to much height.
