  1. At night, ball looks good in VR, but position light and anti-collision light looks like big glowing lantern.

  4. I think in Chuck's guide, it refers to lightning pod instead of ATFLIR, I read the old version and no idea if it has ATFLIR in the latest update. After WPSDG a waypoint, if you want to move the ATFLIR crosshair, press undesignate button to enter "snowplow" mode then quickly press TDC depress to lock current aiming point, then it's free to slew the crosshair now.

  7. I usually put VV at crutch when boat speed is around 15 kts, but i think at 27 kts, need to move the VV further right to the bow part?
  8. May I further ask on which occasions will the Elapsed Time count being used (the one below the bingo fuel setting), as sometimes I used this ET right before takeoff to count the time elapsed after takeoff.
  9. (Warning: Spoilers) First of all, thanks for this excellent campaign. I enjoyed it so much and also learned a lot. From a player's perspective, I have some ideas/suggestions I would like to share with the developers. I understand that these are only my own preference while others might not agree, yet just hope some of these comments might be helpful (if the campaign still have future updates). Generally speaking, I would love to see/hear more radio chats with my wingman when situation allows, (such as in the soyfield banter). Especially in some long flight. Specifically: Mission 05: A) I think it’s better to add some context why Prince took off his mask, otherwise the plot seems a little obscure, (maybe like a radio chat from Prince before he went unconscious, mentioning he is going to enable autopilot as he need to check something). B) I feel weird that a single Su-33 appeared and shot down Prince, then the bandit refrained from using any AA missiles at Flip. Shouldn’t the single Su-33 be replaced by a two unit group? And some model actually owned by Iranian Air Force? Also I think it’s unwise to enter a dogfight at such a low fuel state. I wonder if the plot can be revised as: After entering Iranian airspace, Flip and Prince were intercepted by two F14, they were later locked and fired upon, with Prince being shot down while Flip evade the missile and turned back. Strike ordered Flip to get out as fast as he can, while sent two F18 to engage the two F14. Upon reaching the coastline, two Iranian F14 retrieved as the two friendly F18 get closer. (Which IMO is more reasonable but open for debate) Mission 08: I couldn’t see any speedboats with or without my NVG on, is it possible to add some lights on them or use some bigger boats? Or maybe change the loadout with 4*AGM65 so I could at least get two boats, which could scare away other boats. Mission 09: This is one of my favorite mission in the campaign, yet I wonder if the default loadout can be changed to (s2: rocket, s3: 2*GBU-12, s4: ATFLIR, s5: Tank, s6: AIM-7, s7: AGM65, s8: rocket), which (again just IMO) fits the mission better, as we could use rocket at the Sniper and the Outpost. A single C-tank also force the use to do AAR after completed the CAS duty. Mission 10: A huge package which make the mission very impressive. However, it’s just weird that only Flip’s JDAM are functional when fence in. I didn’t pay much attention to the rest of the Hammer flight during the attack, but did they all run in with CCIP mode? Which caused the shootdown of Cajun? The probability of 3 aircrafts encountering a weapon issue at the same time seems very odd. Maybe adjust it as only Cajun encountered the weapon problem? Or one other member had the issue so Cajun had to back up his target? Again, it's a wonderful campaign and I would definitely recommend it to my friends, thank you Baltic Dragon.
  10. Mission 8 For the first a few attempts, Raven 11/12 splashed only one vehicle (on the left side of the Tin Can), so it doesn't trigger the next storyline. After watching someone playing this mission on bilibili (Chinese version of youtube), I figured out the Tin Can must be destroyed, so I bombed it myself.... However, in some later attempts, Raven 11/12 successfully destroyed both vehicles on the ground.

I encountered exactly the same issue, after the dogfighter with Prince (joker declared), Prince struggled to gain speed, with afterburner on but only about 100 kts and at low altitude (below 5k ft). Although after a long haul, he managed to speed up and climbed to 20k ft, but my fuel wasn't enough to complete the mission. What I worked around this issue was when I did dogfight with Prince, I remained at about 20k ft, so when I declared joker, he was already in high altitude and easily gained speed and this expedited the process so I could enter Iran with enough fuel.

  15. Here's some feedback after using this ReshaderVR_sharpen_color mod: 1. Indeed, the blurry greyish color is removed, it looks clearer especially in the cockpit's dark-colored parts (such as standby instruments and DDI and AMPCD). Now the DDI looks much more realistic (please pardon me to use this word as I never see a real DDI) as the screen are darker while the text and lines are sharpener, feels like electrons hitting on those old CRT screens. 2. The edge of distant objects like mountains are sharpener, it even make the clouds edge sharpener yet not in the realistic way because the clouds still lacks details and shadow effects. Generally speaking it makes scenes clearer too, together with higher saturation and contrast. 3. With the sharpening effect enabled, the HUD display looks clearer but as the edge is so sharp, it doesn't gives the glowing edge effect anymore but more like a chalk drawing on the blackboard. Overall, it's a nice mod and I hope ED could consider to incorporate this effect into the game option, like adding a contrast/saturation/sharpening sliders in the graphic option settings.

  17. Thanks so much Highlander. So it means copy 3 folders and 4 files under bin folder (not the mother folder) as below picture shows. And uninstall this mod by removing the same files from bin folder.
  18. Hey guys, I just saw this thread and although I've read most of the post but still have a few questions and appreciate if anyone could clarify, thanks. 1. Copy and paste "RashedVR_sharpen_color" folder under the game directory\bin folder, is this the correct step? As below picture shows. 2. If I want to uninstall this mode, do I just need to remove this "ReshadeVR_sharpen_color" folder? 3. After I run the game, does the mod replace any default game files?

  21. I would also like to see sand dunes, even if a static one would be good to have.
  22. I recalled that the Russian air defense system have some datalink, so any SAM site on the datalink chain can monitor a contact without activate its own radar, once the contact is within its firing range, it will activate its radar and shoot the missile quickly.
  23. Thanks for the update. In this case, I guess it will depend on when Oculus makes it available through Airlink to PCVR then.
