  1. exactly been there done that lots, especially out of a 47. Dcs desperately needs this for the ground and heli game
  2. Ok ill update, did more testing primary mission i use to test is instant action oh58 free flight afghanistan I did the nvidia inspector hack to run pre set J on this dlss 4 and wow have to say its the cleanest picture i have seen with dlss, think ill leave it on and continue mission with it for now.
  3. its still a no go my end picture is still much worse than without dlss, and add movement not even close to non Ai up scale especially in helis. We need more Raster performance not this
  4. As per title notice flying the apache around on the instant action mission you do tgt practice signs have low res textures aka cant read them, be cool to nav by signage.... wonderful map by the way, the detail on buildings and farmers fields really make flying helis down low so worth it.
  5. bump bump
  6. Yup it’s the most exciting thing for me as well as the dynamic campaign.
  7. super stoked for a real cold war map, although be nice to have a ww2 version....
  8. cool do we know exact date map is supposed to represent? Was stationed in Germany twice and definitely have been around berlin and many other i think cooler places. Will be great to see it come alive in dcs.
  9. Looks like an awesome map and modern, excited to fly helis on it
  10. Ya wish the shark had the pilot body, pretty nice in vr. New helis have come out and they have bodies in place. The shark is the grand daddy show it some priority…. And passion
  11. ooofta, Kiowa set new standards in dcs heli wise..... In the end just like how things look with razbam its us end users that get pretty shafted in the end.
  12. ava base is awesome with helis, i use the soft springs with a good bit of pre load on them, and the aero cams.
  13. following, i have it as well as same issue here just switching over to VD smooth and gorgeous other than one intermittent hang/stutter, don't have it on the link cable...
  14. Given the dramatic canyon landscape in the image, this scene is likely from the region around Al-Ula in northwestern Saudi Arabia. Al-Ula is known for its stunning rock formations and canyons, similar to what is depicted in your photo. The area is also historically significant with sites like Mada'in Saleh, and it's not uncommon for military exercises or photo ops to take place in such visually striking locations.
  15. From Grok “Based on the image you provided, it appears to show military aircraft flying over a desert landscape with mountainous terrain. This type of scenery is typical of several regions in Saudi Arabia. One likely location could be near the King Khalid Military City in the northeastern part of the country, which is situated in a desert area with similar mountainous features. However, without specific landmarks or additional context, pinpointing the exact location within Saudi Arabia is challenging. If you have any more details or specific landmarks in mind, please let me know!” Based on the image you provided, it appears to show military aircraft flying over a desert landscape with mountainous terrain. Tabuk is known for its rugged terrain and has several military bases, including King Faisal Air Base, which could be a plausible location for such aircraft operations. The landscape features rocky outcrops and expansive sand dunes, which match the scenery in your image.”
  16. Similar to you I'm from the old days of dcs and well Black shark. Its a whole new world now with multi seat platforms and i think that throws allot of this off especially if you don't Multiplayer 24/7..... Even as good as the co pilot Ai is getting, to me trying to learn and master a module that is multi seat is certainly a whole different worm. Trying that now with the F15E. Apache is my all time favorite, but think I'm going to give the Apache some more maturing time before deep diving it. I aint no learning module scientist but for all modules, i do the crawl walk run way of learning. Startup to properly flying patterns and then get to the combat stuff. Amazing time to be a combat sim pilot so many choices now compared to back in the day it was just the shark and the hog. just my two cents
  17. Well the phantom was used in many regions which we have map wise in dcs.....
  18. Imagine AI doing it in one night.... not far off
  19. Absolute bummer, Hind was made for this map, su25... mi8.... OEF was cool and all but the Russia Vietnam would be an absolute blast....
  20. I took a chance and just bought the F15E despite the current atmospherics.... your missions are the gold standard for training and really deep diving. Man you have talent and i highly recommend ED take you on for future training missions, if not maybe you open up a go fund me or something because if we had this level of training missions say for the F18 and other modules wow. These put the sim in simulator. Best regards.
  21. Are you saying use the soft springs? Looking to pick one up for the rotorwing side of dcs
  22. Thank you for the great update I’m a recent purchaser but have to say it’s a wonderful map. Merry Christmas and happy holidays
  23. Back in the early shark days damage on the ka50 glass was a thing, is it no longer, and ya I'm talking about from inside the pit.
