Wait you said earlier... But then your respond to me only wanting it to be like other modules in the ME (aka placable in the ME) to this? So which is it? Mission builders should pay for something they don’t plan to actively use in the game or we should because we want the module to be like every other one and placeable in the ME? Sorry Sith you’ve lost the point of the original post and just clouding the waters. As someone who makes missions for the 476th not being able to include this in missions I create will likely cause members of the 476th to not purchase either. This, I don’t want anything for free but I want the super carrier to be like every other module when it comes to working in the ME. I have no need to test the super carrier in the ME. But let Sith I’m a minority and by his last comment referencing me I guess out of touch.

That’s a huge no for me to even pay 1 dollar for icons to be visible for me to place in the mission editor.

Today was the first time I've had a chance to try this. I've tried multiple ways (button on my wacom and button on my warthog hotas) and nothing seems to work. Whats the "trick" to toggle VR on/off? -
Militariy Aircraft Mod

I've got curios behavior. In MP the C-2A Greyhound replaces any C-130 statics I have in missions. Anyone else see this behavior? -
Don’t feel bad, I played around with trying to adjust settings for my rift s yesterday and. O matter what I adjusted it remained the same after installing each time.

I agree but knew that wouldn’t happen so I didn’t even mention it.

LOL, obviously Which is why Swift created this thread.

Sorry but this is the stupidest thing I’ve read today. NO ONE in this thread wants the super carrier for free to use it IN a mission (I.e. spawn, launch, recover) we simply want the option to be able to place it (and the other items that come with it) in the mission editor just like other modules. I have absolutely no desire to actually operate off the super carrier. But I know a lot of people who do that are in virtual organizations. To pay 25 dollars (or more) just to be able to place objects into the ME is not north the investment lol. Mic drop!

If that’s how it goes that’ll be unfortunate.

Thanks, I’ll take a look this evening. -
I counted at least 4 times it was stated that we couldn’t place the SC in the mission editor if we didn’t own the module.

Looks like my post on Discord earlier got the discussion going. As I said there, I don’t fly naval aircraft so no need to actual spawn or land on the super carrier. BUT I do build multiplayer mission for the 476 vFG and we have an active Hornet squadron that will likely want to use the super carrier. The way it is now I won’t be able to place the super carrier in the mission editor when designing missions. We currently don’t have that limitation with other modules (excluding maps). I think ED is making a big mistake and potentially alienating mission designers that either don’t have the disposable income to purchase a module they wouldn’t actual use (aka mission running) but want to include in mission building/design.

Interim U.A.E and Oman 476th FLIP published. This version only includes information for Al Dhafra AB and Al Minhad AB. A future update will include all airport diagrams for airports. http://www.476vfightergroup.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=543 NOTE 1. Missions need to be dated from 1 December 2015 to 30 November 2016 otherwise headings and mag var will be different. 2. Tower frequencies have 0.1 added to the frequencies in DCS world to avoid the sim ATC from yelling constantly. Hopefully when (if) we get the ATC overhaul and it's realistic we can change this back to the actual in game frequencies .

I may have overlooked something but any way to “hide” the knee board in a similar way as EDs? Played around with brightness but it didn’t work. I can start with it set to “0” but as soon as I turn it up to view it’ll only go back down to translucent but not completely invisible. Thanks -

[FIXED] HUD: A picture is worth a thousand words?
Snoopy replied to randomTOTEN's topic in DCS: A-10C Warthog
That’s actually close to being correct. You have to move your head down to see all that data on startup. The part in VR that isn’t correct is when you're airborne and the TVV suddenly is out of view and you have to move your head down to see it or move the seat down again. -
Unfortunately not. In the sim at Moody (real world) at Max throttles I was at just over 800 ITT but I can’t even reach 800 in the sim.

Doesn’t matter if you can meet the limits what matters is they markings that are missing in the new pit.

Uhm that’s because I didn’t ask that, pilots don’t fly with one eye closed. They would have laughed and walked away if I did. You can in the picture I posted. -

I think that would help. It's curious that the Hornet and Viper don't have similar issues.
