  1. Professional and honest like always, thanks my friend!
  2. ADDED I did more digging this morning and it looks like what he have to do in accordance with our maintenance Tech Orders (1A-10C-2-71JG-2), which I listed below originally, is different than what is in the pilots checklist (1A-10C-1CL-1). Per the latest dash 1: MOTOR is used for air-purging of excessive fuel, cooling the engine, or manual starting. When the switch is moved to MOTOR, the following actions are accomplished, provided electrical power and an air source are available: - Air Turbine Starter (ATS) valve opens, causing the ENG START CYCLE light to come on - ECS shutoff valve closes - Both engine bleed air shutoff valves open. The engine operate switches are powered by the DC essential bus. ----------------------------------------------- FYI, Motor switches work in the current DCS A-10C but not completely accurate, they work mirroring the procedures we have to follow in the maintenance TO procedures: Comments in the video about Fuel Boost Pumps and Engine Generator switches. I can’t recall if I reported those years ago (along with a handful of other topics he mentions). Setting those switches is not actually part of our launch Work Cards but a I always set these switches (plus pulling up certain knobs on the intercom panel) prior to the pilot stepping. During Pre-Flight Basic post Flight or Combined Basic Post Flight/Pre-Flight inspections it’s actually a carded item to make sure all switches are “off, safe, or normal” except main air and bleed air switches. If they’re not in Supply or Bleed and someone forgets to pin the external battery pin it will drain the battery. Couple of the items mentioned in the video were reported back when I was a tester and mentioned again when I created the below thread. I hope between Habu validating them, and this being a direct result of a USAF contract they get addressed for A-10C 2, current A-10C, and where applicable A-10A. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=260353
  3. This thread was created in the wishlist section for the A-10C 2, the first post mentions the title "Wing flex/over win vapor." Although I appreciate people "defending" me it isn't needed, everyone is allowed to have their own opinion on this subject that being said.... My reply... Folks obviously are reading into a four word sentence and insinuating I stated the A-10 wings do not flex. My reply was to a wishlist post concerning wing vapor and flex. Aka no I don't wish for wing flex but yes to wing vapor. I even clarified the vapor wish later by stating that vapor doesn't happen as often in the real world as it does in DCS. So for clarification (sorry if I'm not a structural engineer and not posting mathematical equations) yes A-10 wings do flex. BUT in my opinion, based on what I've seen over my career and talking to pilots on the subject (take it with a grain of salt if you'd like), they don't flex enough to really be noticeable so in my opinion I think ED should focus their efforts on things that matter and not something that would be so small you wouldn't notice or so overly done it would be cartoonish.
  4. With the preorder announcement ;) :D
  5. Repeatedly jumping up and down on a virtual table isn’t going to make anything happen quicker. I don’t think many are happy with the view in 2d but again “screaming” on the forums isn’t going to accomplish anything.
  6. You do you, I use to get very upset and vocal about issues with the A-10C and in my opinion it isn’t worth it. Enjoy what we have, we could easily not have anything.
  7. Why don’t we just wait and see. Not sure why folks expect specific announcements for every bug that’s reported. Try to just enjoy what we have and hope it gets fixed. A year or two ago no one would have expected we’d be getting any kid of A-10 update.
  8. That’s great to hear!
  9. Not gonna argue, just clarifying the bug hasn’t been there for 8 years.
  10. The HAS aren’t time period specific. And here is another that is missing from the current map. This was the HAS we used as our office building, it had modulars inside. This temporary hanger and concrete wasn’t there when I was there in 2015/2016. Lastly The extra concrete where the drones work out of is newer (wasn’t that big when I was there in 2016).
  11. The original module yes but not the updated cockpit which lead to the issue.
  12. Version 1.2 available (fixes after last OB update) at the same link in post 1
  13. All that was done after I left there in 2016
  14. Doesn’t hurt to report them, Ugra has been very responsive to what I’ve pointed out so far.
  15. No issues here, everything works correctly in the latest OB version
  16. Fixed FM would very likely be for the A model and both versions of the C model.
  17. Missions with dates 1 Dec 2014 to 30 Nov 2015 have mag var ranging from E5.1 at Incirlik to E4.5 down at King Hussein. At least in the latest OB release. I verified using an A-10C at each airport.
  18. This issue would help some if fixed. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=284412
  19. How are you taking off in a module that isn’t released yet?
  20. Per Operating Instructiln 13-204 (no releasability restrictions) the calm runway should be 23. In the sim it’s 05.

      • Thanks
  21. Vapor is cool but it doesn’t happen as often as people on these boards think.
  22. Nice! I have no idea how you get those done so quickly lol
  23. This is a blank mission that contains a Navigation Database template based on real world information for the Syria Map. Syria Theater Nav Point Template 22DEC20 Download here.
