When those parking slots' size values will set smaller as OnReTech says, DCS ME (and AI automatic default) will exclude their slots' numbers from "Takeoff from Ramp" / "Landing" --- "PRK" selection for oversized airplane types. Su-27 won't spawn there after the dealing, never be damaged with such hangers.
  2. I think this is coming from the same root. Playing Instant Action - Sinai map - Ready for Take Off (Hot start on the runway end) FUEL QTY gauge starts from ZERO and counts up to INTL=13000 lbs (in 9 seconds) / Total 30500 lbs (in 23 seconds).
  3. My DCS World / Mission Editor / F-15E S4+ reflects chosen preset loadouts as expected. Updating / Installing is not finished correctly or mods conflicting as Flappie says ...

  5. Non Non. South Atlantic Assets is a part of DCS World's common contents, outside of South Atlantic Map. Even not purchase / not install South Atlantic Map, RN / ARA / AC ships are available for all players. 25 Mayo's 3d/2d files are also exist.

My testing with Civil Aircraft Mod's airplanes. placed in Ben-Gurion A320, B727-100, B737-700, B757-300, DC-10-30 example of ED core contents --- C-17 (53 m L x 51.8 m W) snapped to Cairo Intl (cannot to Ben-Gurion) B747 (perhaps not set historical size values in the mod, 70.6 m L x 64.4m W) A380 (perhaps not set historical size values in the mod, 73 m L x 79.8 m W) example of ED core contents --- B-52 (47.6 m L x 56.4 m W) nowhere place-able in Sinai map A330-300 (63.7 m L x 60.3 m W) So, when Ben-Gurion allows 64 m L x 61 m W parking spots and taxi ways, those CAM airplanes can be placed there.

  10. As map objects, orange buoy channel markers are placed in Suez canal entrance areas , though , it's hard to see them in ME screen , hard to set correct ship waypoints following them. In the other map module --- RAZBAM's South Atlantic --- red and black lines are overlap drawn to show channel guidelines. I request drawing similar guidelines in Suez canal on the orange buoys like ---
  11. Hi. To me, your post can be read as not a bug or trouble with X55. F/A-18C's Fly-by-Wire (FBW) might set a positive elevator trim value 14 degrees in spawning on the ground before take-off. Isn't it ? And in cruise flight time, FBW elevator will keep the current position with the stick of neutral position.

  13. Correctly installed DCS World Open Beta variant ? Sinai map needs the latest version 2.8.6 .41066.1 as described in its store page, and the version is provided only as Open Beta. Stable is version 2.8.4 .39731. When your DCS World is stable, its module manager doesn't show Sinai map for new install-able items.
  14. Today's Syria map uses 66 GB on my SSD. AND !! Its installing needs another temporary work space about 20 - 30 GB.
  15. The screenshot looks maximum zoomed out. Scrolling down operation is needed to show England. That is mouse dragging. Push its right button and drag down about ME. F10 view manipulation is a bit different from ME. It's left button dragging.
  16. Hi. In flying around London of Normandy 2.0 map, I can see Heathrow airport is modeled with paved runways and parking spots. But the map doesn't have the airport attribute at Heathrow and there doesn't work as functional airport in DCS. I request making Heathrow functional. And if possible, adding RAF Croydon will be better.

  18. Sinai map's preview movies were published 1 or 2 weeks earlier than Normandy 2 map's ones. That may indicate Normandy 2's release date will be some weeks later from Sinai map , in my thought.
  19. Today "DCS World Topics -- DCS Modding" section looks rebuilt from simple one "DCS Mods" sub-section. New subsections are ... Flyable/Drivable Mods for DCS World Texture/Map Mods for DCS World Utility/Program Mods for DCS World Static/AI Mods for DCS World How to use those new sub-sections ? I need some guides. And when we want to move our own topics from "Utility/Program Mods" to "Static/AI Mods" , how to operate the topic ? Only way to ask forum admin ?
  20. Hi. wikipedia says EADF is operating some Russian S-300 and American Patriot systems. Someone knows how and where they are deployed ? Reusing historical S-75 or S-125 sites ? or placed in other new bases ?

  22. Tested in current DCS World openbeta 2.8.3 .38090 single-thread. I know DCS World's current ATC-AI is not good and it cannot make historical runways' functions, though. Those AI Takeoff / Landing problems around Beirut-Rafic Hariri can be solved under that limitation. 1. No Wind situation --- RW 17 takeoff leads Full Fuel KC-135 "Runway start" cannot climb enough and collides with an electricity pylon --- crashes. When KC-135 starts from "Ramp" or "Parking hot", it uses some fuel in taxing time and its weight becomes a bit less --- can fly higher and no crashing. Two solutions I think : A - Use RW 21 instead of 17 when No Wind (historical takeoff procedure ... but it makes No Wind Landing also RW 21 against IRL) B - Turn right soon after takeoff from RW 17. 2. RW 21 's touchdown place is wrong , AI lands too shorts --- too low glide path --- KC-135 collides its left wing with a building --- crashes. Perhaps set correct touchdown point data to the map, that crashing will be solved. Attached Beirut_TO-LD_bug.zip contains more JPG screenshots and three test mission files I got those screenshots.   23. lod models work for better fps .... btw, my current trials --- I need more weeks to replace lines as native 8k-nize with normal map and roughmet.
  24. Hi, Urbi. Anyway ? MV might not reproduce lod01 material typo , may occur only in DCSW missions ?? I'm not sure ... My testing here : The dc_10_lod01.edm file you posted is the same to I have as CAM v0.86. Its material name is MAM_KC-10 instead of Douglas_DC_10 . As temporary solution, assign same livery dds textures to both materials "Douglas_DC_10" and "MAM_KC-10" in description.lua , I've found , not smart and will be wasted after lod01.edm will be correctly re-exported.
  25. CAM's DC-10 might have a visual glitch in its lod01.edm data. Material assignment was forgotten before model exporting ? When the camera is far 1000 meters from the DC-10 and its showing model is switched to lod01, the livery skin chosen is ignored and default swissair skin is seen. Its red tail fin looks prominent even from 1000 meters far .... Perhaps lod01.emd re-exporting is needed. MAM's KC-10 model doesn't have the same issue. Its lod01 looks reflecting the livery texture, btw.
