  1. Hi. In flying around London of Normandy 2.0 map, I can see Heathrow airport is modeled with paved runways and parking spots. But the map doesn't have the airport attribute at Heathrow and there doesn't work as functional airport in DCS. I request making Heathrow functional. And if possible, adding RAF Croydon will be better.

  3. Sinai map's preview movies were published 1 or 2 weeks earlier than Normandy 2 map's ones. That may indicate Normandy 2's release date will be some weeks later from Sinai map , in my thought.
  4. Today "DCS World Topics -- DCS Modding" section looks rebuilt from simple one "DCS Mods" sub-section. New subsections are ... Flyable/Drivable Mods for DCS World Texture/Map Mods for DCS World Utility/Program Mods for DCS World Static/AI Mods for DCS World How to use those new sub-sections ? I need some guides. And when we want to move our own topics from "Utility/Program Mods" to "Static/AI Mods" , how to operate the topic ? Only way to ask forum admin ?
  5. Hi. wikipedia says EADF is operating some Russian S-300 and American Patriot systems. Someone knows how and where they are deployed ? Reusing historical S-75 or S-125 sites ? or placed in other new bases ?
  6. Today my Windows (10) Defender behaves the same. I've not installed any other 3rd party anti-virus.
  7. Tested in current DCS World openbeta 2.8.3 .38090 single-thread. I know DCS World's current ATC-AI is not good and it cannot make historical runways' functions, though. Those AI Takeoff / Landing problems around Beirut-Rafic Hariri can be solved under that limitation. 1. No Wind situation --- RW 17 takeoff leads Full Fuel KC-135 "Runway start" cannot climb enough and collides with an electricity pylon --- crashes. When KC-135 starts from "Ramp" or "Parking hot", it uses some fuel in taxing time and its weight becomes a bit less --- can fly higher and no crashing. Two solutions I think : A - Use RW 21 instead of 17 when No Wind (historical takeoff procedure ... but it makes No Wind Landing also RW 21 against IRL) B - Turn right soon after takeoff from RW 17. 2. RW 21 's touchdown place is wrong , AI lands too shorts --- too low glide path --- KC-135 collides its left wing with a building --- crashes. Perhaps set correct touchdown point data to the map, that crashing will be solved. Attached Beirut_TO-LD_bug.zip contains more JPG screenshots and three test mission files I got those screenshots.   8. lod models work for better fps .... btw, my current trials --- I need more weeks to replace lines as native 8k-nize with normal map and roughmet.
  9. Hi, Urbi. Anyway ? MV might not reproduce lod01 material typo , may occur only in DCSW missions ?? I'm not sure ... My testing here : The dc_10_lod01.edm file you posted is the same to I have as CAM v0.86. Its material name is MAM_KC-10 instead of Douglas_DC_10 . As temporary solution, assign same livery dds textures to both materials "Douglas_DC_10" and "MAM_KC-10" in description.lua , I've found , not smart and will be wasted after lod01.edm will be correctly re-exported.
  10. CAM's DC-10 might have a visual glitch in its lod01.edm data. Material assignment was forgotten before model exporting ? When the camera is far 1000 meters from the DC-10 and its showing model is switched to lod01, the livery skin chosen is ignored and default swissair skin is seen. Its red tail fin looks prominent even from 1000 meters far .... Perhaps lod01.emd re-exporting is needed. MAM's KC-10 model doesn't have the same issue. Its lod01 looks reflecting the livery texture, btw.

  12. About P-3C IRL, scramble speed / cruise speed / loiter speed are different each other. Its cruise speed is 330 knots = 610 km/h (perhaps TAS in middle alt). Loiter speed is lower as 205 knots = 380 km/h (IAS almost equal to TAS in low alt, with two engines stop and feathered). DCS's AI won't stop engines and feather props in loiter time, though.

  14. In testing with Civil Aircraft Mod, its B737 can start from Groom Lake's spots A06 / A07 / B01 / B03 / B05. Historical Wingspan values related to USAF: DC-9 -30 (C-9 / VC-9) = 28.5 m Gulfstream G550 (C-37B) = 28.5m B737 NG (C-40) = 34.3 m or 35.8 m B757 (C-32) = 38.0 m KC-135 = 39.9 m C-130 = 40.4 m C-17 = 51.8m B757 is also in Civil Aircraft Mod and it cannot spawn in Groom Lake / NTTR. 36 ~ 37 m width is set as a limit of its spawning on spots. I feel that map design realistic.
  15. I finished LEGACY 600/650's winglets 3d and their texture work. Now vol.2 ERJ-145, -135BJ is published. Also I added more ERJ-145 liveries Australian Corporate Jet Centres, JETGO, Pan Europeenne, Windrose and Ayit Aviation. DL link is in my 1st post. Final screenshots are shown in User Files DL page.
  16. Hi, HawaiianRyan and other members. Thanks again your efforts. After weeks, I found what I mistook in editing RAT lua files. I added extra installed liveries' names in RAT lua liveries lines ... and .... my fault was adding also "B" variants in Dim-On Marianas liveries pack. His C210P liveries contain "Door opened" variants for static display. Description.lua files contain argument line forcing the left door opened. I missed that folder names with "B" means those Door open ones and not to write in RAT scripts. Now my problem is solved.
  17. umm ... installed DCS World core files corrupted ? In my test mission, those airports can handle CAM's A320 park - taxing - taking-off on my PC : San Julian, El Calafate, Puerto Natales, Punta Arenas, Rio Grande, Ushuaia and Mount Pleasant.   18. Please Not to confuse "Civil Aircraft Mod" or "Random Air Traffic" script. They are not equal or a PART of another one. Even sample RAT missions are included in CAM package. Please make clear what about your trouble. Civil Aircraft Mod itself without RAT? or RAT settings not unique on CAM?

EagleDynamics DCS web installer (not Steam) of current client version 2.8.2 has a default install option values as " Full installation (Recommended)" with both free maps Caucasus and Mariana Islands turned-on to install. Yes, we can turn-off the checkbox of Mariana Islands terrain in this screen when we don't need / like to install it.
  23. Hi. Adding R-99 variants' 3d parts won't be so hard. Functional codes can be imported from existing mods. My worry is collision and damage model missing. Military airplanes need them more than civilian ones. Anyway I'll start another topic about AEW&C - ASW variants. I keep this topic for civilians. (Military transport liveries are composed together like C-9 or C-99 though ... )
