Well i think there is many from the hornet team that got transfered to the viper team, which is probably why we have seen so much progress being made the last year. My understanding for example the maverick boresighting, is that documentation isnt available for the same process in the hornet

Force sensing from full range is a big difference in the DCS f-16 for sure. I used to run -25 curves on my VKB gladiator, which made it a little better but going to the FSSB R3, i could just feel that it was correct for the F-16. I dont even think about the stick, its amazingly intuitive. The controll for the f-16 in DCS is definitly not made for full range sticks.

30 seconds under 9G for the viper i believe, though no way DCS pilot survives that without blacking out

When you look a moving target with the FCR you are not actually locking the target, but rather the area around it. Hit the pinky switch and try to get the square as centered as possible and you wont have to look to long for it with the TGP.

Been wondering this aswell. Of course this is from 1992 but did they take it out? Another thing to note is when the contact passes through the range ring or what its called on the FCR page it blanks it out in that spot, which i dont think the f-16 in DCS does

Keep in mind ED only cares about a source in the form of an actuall unclassified document or a verified SME that says how the radar should perform. Doubt any real F-16 pilots would want to start discussing the radar online...

Just wanted to ask what the preference is with other people. Myself i never use the A-A button on tnullhe ICP, only the MSL OVERRIDE switch. Though i have feeling that they use A-A mode IRL, and have the MSL OVERRIDE as an emergency switch, but what do i know.

Practice the notch. A good technique i found is pitching straight down (vertical notch) and then coming wings level in the notch. Takes some practice to get right though, and you want to drop chaff during this

M-Pole I believe that will be the distance between you and the target it will go active, though im not sure

As a milsim purist i actually think this is a good idea.
